Stephanie K. Sprague 41, of Story passed away March 16, 2001 at her residence.

Stephanie loved the outdoors, animals, flowers, and all of nature’s beauty. On a bright summer’s morning, you could find her sitting by Piney Creek in Story with a cup of coffee and her fishing pole. Or on a crisp winter’s day, she would be found with a bucket of corn for some local “residents”. The love she showed for nature also extended to her family and friends. She had the extraordinary gift of laughter, the ability to make an ordinary trip to the store an adventure. Even with the burden of her own troubles and pain, her concern and compassion were a source of strength for many. Those who met Stephanie for a brief moment were not untouched. Those of us who knew her were truly blessed. She will be greatly missed.
