Graveside service for Kristen Carano will be 1:00 PM, Monday, July 19, 2004 at the Mount Pisgah cemetery in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Russell Bode of the Central Baptist Church of Gillette, Wyoming officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, July 18, 2004 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming and also starting at 9:00 AM on Monday until the time of service at the funeral home.
Kristen Carano, infant daughter of Nicholas and Gladys (Byfield) Carano III, of Gillette, Wyoming, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at her home of unknown causes.
Kristen was born on May 26, 2004, in Denver Colorado.
She is survived by her parents of Gillette, Wyoming; her sister, Anna Marie Carano of Gillette, Wyoming; her paternal grandparents: Charlene and Leonard Clarke of Gillette, Wyoming; her maternal grandparents: Aurelio and Virginia Andrade of Butte, Montana; six uncles; two aunts; and several cousins, great aunts and great great aunts.
She was preceded in death by one great great grandmother; her grandmother, Jay; one great great grandfather; one great aunt; and one cousin, Jessica.

Norma Lou Duvall
Funeral services for Norma (Hayden) Duvall of Gillette, Wyoming will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at the New Life Wesleyan Church with Pastor Donovan Voigt of the First Presbyterian Church of Moorcroft officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Pisgah cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 P.M., Monday, November 14, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
Norma Lou Duvall, age 76, passed away at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming on November 10, 2005 of congestive heart failure.
Norma Lou was born March 14, 1929 on the family ranch southeast of Gillette to Glenn and Zaida (Rippey) Hayden. She attended the Hollander School through the eighth grade. In her senior year at Campbell County High School she completed Normal Training. After graduation in 1947, she taught one year in a rural school south of Gillette. Then she worked at the Corner Drug until her marriage. On September 24, 1950 she married Kenneth Duvall in Sheridan, Wyoming. Until 1951, the couple lived near Rozet, Wyoming. Then they moved to the ranch south of Gillette where she resided until her death. Norma enjoyed attending social events, visiting with friends and family, traveling and living on the ranch.
Norma is survived by her husband, Kenneth Duvall of Gillette, Wyoming; two daughters: Karen and Kenna Lou Duvall of Gillette, Wyoming; brother, Bob Hayden of Gillette, Wyoming; sister, Nita Rae Christensen of Casper, Wyoming and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Darrell Hayden, Donald “Ike” Hayden and Doyle “Bud” Hayden and one sister, Neva Wilmot.
Memorials suggested to Hospice of Campbell County Memorial Hospice or a charity of one’s choice. Condolences may be sent in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716

Kenneth Keeler
Cremation will take place and a private memorial service of family and friends will be held at a later date.
On April 4, 2006 Larry Keeler of Gillette, Wyoming passed away at Campbell County Memorial Hospital after a brief battle with Leukemia. He was surrounded by his family and went peacefully.
Larry was born on January 24, 1940 in Jerome, Idaho to Kenneth and Eva Keeler. The family moved to Pocatello, Idaho where he attended grade school and high school. After graduating Larry joined the Army and served until 1965 when he was honorably discharged. He then went to work for the Union Pacific Railroad in Pocatello, Idaho.
On August 1, 1969 he was united in marriage with Betty Shell. They lived in Pocatello, Idaho until 1985. He was medically discharged from the railroad and then they moved to Dayton, Wyoming. They lived in Dayton until 1999 and from there moved to Gillette, Wyoming.
Larry loved tying flies, hunting, and especially fishing. He learned to bowl a few years ago and was a member of a league at Frontier Lanes. He had two special dogs: Casey Boy and Autumn Rose.
Larry is survived by his wife, Betty Keeler of Gillette, Wyoming; three daughters: Lynn Delcamp and husband, Schuyler of Gillette, Wyoming, Bonnie Munden of Twin Falls, Idaho and Lorna Abell and husband, Rob of Gillette, Wyoming. Darlyne Myers of Bancroft, Idaho, Arlyne Koehler and Janet Smith both of Pocatello, Idaho. Five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. His brother in law and good friend, Larry Josephson of Gillette, Wyoming; lifelong friend, the Honorable Judge Peter D. McDermott of Pocatello, Idaho and brother in law and hunting partner, Frank Horsley Sheridan, Wyoming.
He was preceded in death by his parents of Pocatello, Idaho and a sister, Barbara Josephson of Gillette, Wyoming.

John Joe Kummerfeld
Memorial services for John Joe Kummerfeld of Gillette, Wyoming will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Donavon Voigt of the Moorcroft First Presbyterian Church officiating. Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Interment will follow at a later date.
John Kummerfeld, age 89, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
John was born in March 19, 1916 in Moorcroft, Wyoming to German immigrants, Hans and Ella (Joost) Kummerfeld. He was raised on a nearby ranch and graduated from Moorcroft High School in 1934. He attended Diesel Mechanic Trade School in Portland, Oregon and Sydney, Nebraska. John married Marguerite Duvall in Belle Fauche, South Dakota and they raised three sons and one daughter. In 1940 they moved to Sheridan where he worked for Wortham Machinery Company. In 1945 they moved to Osage, Wyoming where he was self-employed as a heavy equipment contractor. In 1947 they moved to Moorcroft continuing to work as a heavy equipment contractor in bentonite and oil fields. During these years, John held different offices in the Soil Conservation District, Little Mo Mining Company, as well as being a member of the Elks.
In 1980 John retired. During his retirement he enjoyed spending time at the ranch, working on machinery, prospecting, and family.
John is survived by three sons, Gary (Sue) Kummerfeld of Moorcroft, Wyoming; Jim (L.B.) Kummerfeld of Lovell, Wyoming; Jerry (Jody) Kummerfeld of Thermopolis, Wyoming; one daughter Carol Lee (Edwin) Sisson of Moorcroft, Wyoming; one brother Fred (Lee) Kummerfeld of California; one sister Marie Ray of South Dakota; thirteen grand children and nineteen great grand children.
John was preceded into death by his parents, and one infant sister.

Richard Paul O'Neill
Richard Paul O’Neill, age 73, of Miles City, Montana passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2005 at the Deaconess Hospital in Billings, Montana.
Richard was born in Baker, Montana on September 30, 1931, the son ofEva Grace Foster and James John O’Neill. Richard went to country school south of Baker. He worked for local ranches around Baker while growing up. He later worked for Consolidated Frightways for a short time. He then worked for the Milwaukee Railroad starting on October 1, 1949. He worked for George Rankin on the section, then the coal dock for a short time. He worked for the bridge and building department as a First Class Carpenter for 33 years. When the Milwaukee closed down, he went to work for the Burlington Northern Railroad where he worked for 11 years. After working a total of 44 years for the Railroad, Dick retired from Burlington Northern in 1993. After his retirement, he began to pump wells around Miles City. He married June Aletha Noggle on March 17, 1951 and to this marriage, four children were born. After 28 years of marriage, they divorced. On August 8, 1983, Richard married Isabel Lapito.
Richard is survived by three daughters: Barbara Lee O’Neill-Stark of Miles City, Montana; Patricia Eve O’Neill-Ruble of Lazear, CO; Beverly Fye O’Neill-Huffman of Plains, MT; a son, Brad Paul O’Neill of Harlowton, Montana; and a step-son, Leo Lapito and his wife Susan of Billings, Montana; two brothers: Pat O’Neill of Libby, Montana; and Dave O’Neill of Billings, Montana; and a sister LaDoska Timm of Edgewood, Washington; five grandchildren and four step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Isabel in 2004,
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County cemetery.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Democratic Party or to the charity of ones choice.

Myrtle Eva Lewis
Funeral service for long time Campbell County resident Myrtle E. Moser Lewis will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at the First Presbyterian Church in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Joel Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Gillette, Mt Pisgah cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming. Myrtle passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2005 at the Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Gillette, Wyoming of natural cases. She was eighty-one years old.
Myrtle Eva Lewis was born on March 18, 1923 the daughter of Ray and Josephine (Rodman) Moser in Gillette, Wyoming. She attended rural schools and graduated from Campbell County High School in 1940. Myrtle attended one year of normal training and received her teaching certificate and taught for one year at a school thirty miles north of Gillette.
She married Paul Lewis on June 2, 1943 in Gillette and they made their home on their ranch southwest of Gillette. In the late 1970’s Myrtle worked for her sister at the Busy Bobbin fabric store in Gillette for several years. Paul and Myrtle retired from ranching in the early 1980’s. The couple resided in Mesa, Arizona during the winter months. In 1997 Myrtle moved into Gillette and has resided in Pioneer Manor since 2001.
She was and active member of the First Presbyterian Church, very active in the I.P.B. Homemakers Club and the Rebeka Lodge. Myrtle enjoyed gardening, cooking, embroidery and sewing. She loved to play cards with her family and friends and her favorite was Bridge. In her spare time she enjoyed the game shows on television.
Myrtle is survived by her son Gary (Judy) Lewis of Gillette, Wyoming, her daughter, Paula Lukehart and life-partner Mike “ Mac” McCullough of Cooke City, Montana, one brother, Bill (Nadine) Moser of Moorcroft, Wyoming, one sister, Mildred Parnell of Gillette, Wyoming, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and he husband Paul.
A memorial has been established to the First Presbyterian Church of Gillette, Wyoming and can be sent in care of the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716

Diane Gegelman
Memorial service for Diane D. Gegelman of Gillette, Wyoming will be at 7:00 pm on Monday, April 25, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Firminhac of The Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. A memorial service will also be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Creighton, South Dakota with Pastor Monty Dell and Pastor Scott Firminhac officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Emanuel Lutheran cemetery in Creighton.
Diane Delores Gegelman, age 52, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away on Friday, April 22, 2005 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Diane Delores Gegelman (Eisenbraun) was born on February 1, 1953 to Otto Eisenbraun and Delores Eisenbraun (Strandell) of Wall, South Dakota. Diane was raised and educated in the Wall/Creighton area and graduated from Wall High School in 1971. On November 3, 1973 Diane married Delbert Gegelman of Halliday, North Dakota at Creighton’s Emmanuel Lutheran Church. They made their home in Wall for almost ten years and had their first born son in October of 1976. Diane had worked various positions at the famous Wall Drug Store for over fifteen years before moving with her husband and son to Gillette, Wyoming in 1983. After the family moved to Wyoming, Diane worked with her husband as a contract worker at Wyodak Coal Mine. Then, during the late 1980’s recession, Diane found work in downtown Gillette as a Cook/Dishwasher at Bailey’s Bar and Grill. In 1989, Diane became a Nutrition Aide at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital where she remained for over ten years. Diane and Delbert’s second child, a daughter, was born in September of 1993. Diane spent her remaining years as a Dietary Cook at Pioneer Manor. In late January of 2003, Diane was diagnosed with lung cancer, which she fought a very courageous battle with. Even in the end, Diane had a smile and a humorous word for her friends and family. Diane loved being with her family and friends. Diane also enjoyed arts, crafts, painting, drawing, and above all writing poetry. She had one poem, “Catch My Tear Drop” published by the Poetry Guild in 1998. Diane also enjoyed dancing, traveling, camping, boating and fishing with her best friend Betty in the Big Horn Mountains.
Diane is survived by her husband of 32 years, Delbert Gegelman of Gillette, Wyoming; a son, Shawn and his wife Lora Gegelman of Gillette, Wyoming; a daughter, Shelly Jo Gegelman of Gillette, Wyoming; a sister, Joann and her husband Sam Hoffman of Wright, Wyoming and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and maternal and paternal grandparents.
A memorial has been established to Campbell County Health Care Foundation to benefit either Hospice of Campbell County or the Radiology Department of Campbell County Memorial Hospital.

Alainna Renee Brodie
Funeral services for Alainna Renee Brodie of Gillette, Wyoming will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at the Antelope Valley Baptist Church in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Doug Rumsey officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home in Gillette, Wyoming. Interment will follow.
Alainna Brodie, passed away in her home on July 13, 2005.
Alainna was born February 9, 2005 in Gillette, Wyoming to Robert and Jennifer Brodie.
She is survived by her parents and two sisters: three year old Annalecia and eighteen month old Aubryella Brodie all of Gillette; grandparents: Daniel and Donna Morgan of Gillette, Wyoming; Dianne and Art Munoz of Oceanside, California; Robin Brodie of Erie, Colorado; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Alainna is preceded in death by one grandpa: Darryl Mandelke.
Alainna was a beautiful ray of sunshine. For the short time she was with us she brightened our lives in a truly special way. Our sweet baby will forever be in our hearts, she will be missed always.

Rod Bergquist
Memorial services for Rod Bergquist of Gillette, Wyoming will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 9, 2006 at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church with Reverend Ginny Bettendorf of the First United Methodist Church and Pastor Doug Rumsey of Antelope Valley Baptist Church officiating. Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home of Gillette has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Bergquist, age 47, died March 4, 2006 at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Rod Lawrence Bergquist II, was born August 30,1958 in Huntington, West Virginia and is the oldest son of Rod and Cornelia (Adams) Bergquist. He was raised and educated in Southern, Ohio. During high school he was involved in the civil air patrol, and graduated with honors in 1976 from South Point High School in South Point, Ohio. His educational career continued as his studies led him to the future job as a paramedic for which he loved.
Rod met his future wife Ree Ann Hodges at the hospital that they both work for in Ironton, Ohio. He married Ree Ann on July 14, 1981 in the Rose Garden at Ritter Park in Huntington, WV. Rod and Ree Ann began there new life together by moving to and making there home here in Gillette.
Rod and Ree Ann were extremely proud master graduates of Rapport Leadership International.
In January 1996 Rod lost his beloved wife thus beginning a new chapter in his life and focusing on his number one priority, raising his 2 beautiful children.
Over the past 10 years Rod was active in so many aspects of this community including; serving with the Campco Federal Credit Union Board of Directors, playing the villain in numerous Gillette Community Theatre productions, as well as Relay for Life. Rod was also the entrusted to oversee the mural project located on the L & H Welding Building, and was also involved in the Kiwanis Club of Gillette.
Rod also enjoyed the life of owning his own business starting with his partnership with Tony and Michelle Geffre at Interquest Communications, Inc. His second was his partnership with his brother Erik and their Mobile DJ Business appropriately named Masters of Ceremony for which he loved. Rod loved all music, which complimented his work as a DJ.
Rod enjoyed cooking, especially for the Thanksgiving Holiday when he prepared meals for all of his family and friends. Rod was also a "gadget guy" and loved working with computers and doing web designing.
Rod was a dad, husband, brother and best friend, material things meant nothing, and people meant everything. Every relationship he made was a precious one.
Rod is survived by his son, Rod Bergquist III; daughter, Ginny Bergquist; sister, Julia Bergquist, brother, Erik Bergquist all of Gillette; as well as his father, Rod Bergquist of Los Angeles, California, and numerous friends around the Gillette and surrounding communities for whom he treasured. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother, and his wife.
Rod will be missed but never forgotten, long live the memories of a man who touched the heart of everyone he came into contact with, whether as Snoopy the Dog in a community theatre performance, or emceeing a banquet. No matter how you knew Rod, he definitely made an impression on everyone he ever encountered.
