Elsie Morse
Memorial services for Elsie Morse of Sundance, Wyoming will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at the Osage Community Bible Church with Pastor Tommy Miller officiating. Interment and graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, April 18, 2005 at the Oregon Trail cemetery in Casper, Wyoming with Pastor Tommy Miller officiating and the Natrona County United Veteran’s Council providing full Military Honors. Stevenson Funeral Home of Gillette, Wyoming is entrusted with the arrangements.
Elsie Morse, age 83, died on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital of natural causes.
Elsie Rosella Morse was born on August 25, 1921 in Muskegon, Michigan the daughter of Rose Bryant. She was raised and educated in Muskegon as well. Elsie enlisted in the Women’s Army Air Corps on May 28, 1943. While serving in the military she married
Levi Morse on December 7, 1943 in Muskegon. Elsie was honorably discharged on June 6, 1945, this is when the couple began their family and made their home together in Muskegon. In 1950 Levi died and she was left to raise their two sons alone. She worked at Standard Automotive for many years to support herself and her boys. In her retirement she enjoyed traveling and visiting friends and family. In 1999 she moved to the Wyoming area to be near her son and his family. Elsie could be described as a solid Christian, who is rejoicing in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, a servant to the Lord and to others; she very much loved to help people out.
Elsie will be greatly missed by her two sons: Francis (Barbara) Morse of Muskegon, David (Sue) Morse of Osage, Wyoming; sister, Ethel Hetzman of Pensacola, Florida; brother, Imre (Shirley) Bryant of Muskegon; 9grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and many nieces, nephews and lots of friends. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband and parents Rose and Virgil Bryant.

Dale Krog
Memorial service for Dale Krog of Gillette, Wyoming will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gordon Harper of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm Friday, May 6, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
Dale Krog, age 76, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at the Fort Meade Veterans Hospital in Fort Meade, South Dakota of a short illness.
Dale Krog was born on April 4, 1929 in Wessington Springs, South Dakota the son of Eaner and Esther (Farrington) Krog. He grew up on the family farm in Gann Valley, South Dakota. Dale entered the army and served in the Korean War. He married
Joan Johnson in Pierre, South Dakota in 1953. They lived in Chamberlain, South Dakota for thirteen years. The couple then moved to Gillette, Wyoming in 1970 where he worked for Getter Trucking for several years and then he owned his own business Dale’s Hotshot and Pilot Car Service. Dale was a lifetime member of the American Legion and the American Veterans Association. He was also an active member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge.
Dale is survived by his wife, Joan Krog of Gillette, Wyoming; daughter, Betty (John) Champlin of Gillette, Wyoming; son, David (Caryn) Krog of San Diego, California; three granddaughters: Chrystal (Scott) Lucas of Seguin, Texas ; Michelle (Ryan) Muffley of Peachtree City, Georgia; Kimberly (Wes) Bay of Laramie, Wyoming; great granddaughter, Olivia Muffley of Peachtree City, Georgia; five sisters: Doris (Buck) Keyser of Wessington Springs, South Dakota; Margaret (Harold) Nielsen of Wessington Springs, South Dakota; Jean (Leamon) Schwiesow of Madison, South Dakota; Verna (Gary) Thum of Wessington Springs, South Dakota; Velma Schabot of Woonsocket, South Dakota; two brothers: Dick (Pearl) Krog of Wessington Springs, South Dakota and Lowell (Nilas) Krog of Miller, South Dakota.
He was preceded in death by his parents, great granddaughter, Madison Muffley; daughter-in-law, Sherriel Krog; three brothers: Russell (Tosh) , Lyle and Leroy Krog and one sister, Phyllis Sterrett.
A memorial has been established in Dale’s name to benefit the Diabetes Foundation.

Julianne Pierce
Julianne (DeMontigny) Pierce, age 44, passed away Friday January 20, 2006 at her home of an apparent heart attack. Visitation will be held Monday January 23, 2006 from 2-5 pm at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, Gillette, Wyoming
Julianne was born March 20, 1961 the daughter of Dianne and Rene Lee DeMontigny in Dallas, Texas. She was raised and educated in North Dakota.
Julianne hobbies included watching movies and visiting with her friends. She spent a lot of time with her boyfriends mother Millie; they were always there for each other. She also enjoyed spending time with her fiancé Perry Glasser. She worked as a waitress at various places, until the time of her illness.
Julianne is survived by, her mother Dianne Byrne, of Gillette, Wyoming; 2 sons Eli and Jerry Brown, Sheridan, Wyoming; 2 daughters, Sauna St. Claire of Mandan, North Dakota and Crystal Pratt of Belcourt, North Dakota. She is also survived by 1 brother, Rene DeMontigny of Missoula, Montana; 4 sisters, Sam Boyer from Grand Forks, North Dakota, Raeleen Anderson from Gillette, Tina Jo Dohl from Las Vegas, Nevada, and April May DeMontigny from Belcourt, North Dakota and also10 grandchildren,.
Julianne is preceded in death by her father, maternal grandparents, Helen and Louis LaVallie, paternal grandfather Ferdinand DeMontigny, 1 uncle, and 2 cousins.

Ronald Scott
Funeral services for long-time area resident, Ronald Royse Scott, age 71, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2006 at the New Life Wesleyan Church with his nephew Pastor Ron Reed of Albany, Oregon, officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 ~7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Scott passed away Saturday, March 25, 2006, at the VA Hospital in Sheridan, WY from an ongoing illness.
Mr. Scott was born July 8, 1934, in Gillette, Wyoming, to homesteaders Lelen E. and Edith (Coleman) Scott. He spent his childhood on the family ranch near Gillette, and attended Campbell County High School. In 1952 he married
Helen Sanburn. The couple had three children and were later divorced. In 1977, he married
Mozelle Powers and was a wonderful husband and caregiver to her until the time of her death in 1998.
In 1956 he enlisted in the United States Army in Ft. Bliss, Texas and was honorably discharged. During the 1960’s he worked for ASCS of the United States Agriculture in Casper and Gillette, Wyoming. In 1973, he started Scott Sign Service and continued running the business until his death. Mr. Scott had a variety of interests and hobbies, and enjoyed auctioneering, painting western pictures, and entertaining others with his colorful stories. He served on several boards throughout his life, including the Wright Planning Commission, Wright Centennial Museum Board, and Wright Chamber of Commerce. He was also former President of the Campbell County Rodeo Association as well as the Old Timers Rodeo Association.
In the later years of his life, Mr. Scott became an active member in the Masonic and Shrine organizations. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of the Scottish Rite. At the time of his death he was the Worshipful Master of the Gillette Masonic Lodge #28 AF & AM and was past President of the Powder River Shrine Club. He was a member of the KALIF Buckskin Horse Patrol out of Sheridan, Wyoming as well as a member of the Casper Shrine Club. He was very proud of his work on behalf of the Shriner Children’s Hospital and enjoyed visiting the hospitals while traveling.
He is survived by his children: Charles Scott, Bill Scott of Gillette, Wyoming, Ronda Boller of Wright, Wyoming, his companion Patti Barnes of Wright, Wyoming, his grandchildren and many friends.
Mr. Scott is preceded in death by his wife, Mozelle Scott; parents Lelen and Edith Scott; and sister, Billie Lou Reed.

Theo Edwards
Services for Theo H. Edwards of Gillette, Wyoming will be at 10:00 am on Friday, March 25, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Marty Crump officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Pisgah cemetery in Gillette. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 am on Friday, March 25, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
Theo H. Edwards, age 83, of Gillette, Wyoming died at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, March 23, 2005.
Theo was born on May 4, 1921 the daughter of Delmar and Esther (Liming) Havener in Marmarth, North Dakota where she was raised. She married
Robert “Bob” Edwards on February 4, 1950. Theo in her earlier years worked for Archie Lindsey in Gillette. She also worked for 18 years at the Deckers Food Center where she retired from in 1982. Theo loved to crochet lap robes for Hospice and others, embroidery, scrap booking, baking, camping and traveling. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life.
Theo is survived by her sons, Merle (Pat) Williams of Anaheim, California; Gary Williams of Oakhurst, California; Donnie Edwards of Gillette, Wyoming; daughter, Donna (Don) Cale of Gillette, Wyoming; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and two brothers.

George Kluver
We say good-bye to loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend, George Kluver. He lived on, worked on, loved on, and left us from his home on his grandparents’ ranch in Recluse, Wyoming on December 20, 2005. George was a Campbell County native and loved the Recluse/Spotted Horse area, and Wyoming. On the ranch he took time to watch the birds and wildlife. He loved his family, friends, life, and nature.
Visitation will be held at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Chapel, Gillette, on Monday, December 26, 2005 from 11:00 to 1:00. Graveside services will be held also on Monday at 2:00 P.M. in Recluse.
George was born in Gillette, WY on February 22, 1948 to Audrey and William Kluver. George attended Campbell County High School until 1965. George graduated from Sheridan High School in 1966. He married
Mollie, on December 3, 1966 in Sheridan WY. He worked for Apache Oil Corp. as an oilfield pumper for 29 years. He also worked at Spotted Horse Bar and Pines Lodge. He was a member of the Sunshine 4-H, FFA Gillette Chapter, and Recluse Petroleum Club.
George loved to laugh and play with friends and family. He loved to read, watch the Weather Channel, John Deere tractors, woodworking, camping and fishing in the Bighorn Mountains and at Lake De Smet. He loved to cheer for the Broncos and NASCAR’s Tony Stewart (2005 champion).
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mollie (Sickler) Kluver of Recluse, his sons; Mike Kluver and, wife, Carol, their children, Tabitha and Michael George all of Mechanicsville, Virginia, and Daniel Kluver and wife Anna of Gillette. He is also survived by his mother Audrey (Rule) Kluver of Henderson, Nevada, his sister Carol (Kluver) McGee and husband Allen, their children Craig and Clinton of Louisiana and Crystal of Georgia, and his brother Bill Kluver and Rita Bowman Henderson of Nevada.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Kluver, and his grandparents, Eric and Marie (Hood) Rule and Henry and Cleo (Gladfelder) Kluver.

Minnie Dunn
Funeral services for Minnie Dunn will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 8, 2004, at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Bernie Graves of the Gillette Christian Center officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Pisgah cemetery in Gillette, Wyoming. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 7, 2004, at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home in Gillette.
Minnie Dunn, age 65, died November 2, 2004, at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette of natural causes.
Minnie Jo Dunn was born February 10, 1939, to John M. and Elsie June (Powell) Griffin in Walsh, Colorado. Minnie was raised and educated in Colorado, the second of six children. She married
her high school sweetheart, Don Dunn on January 20, 1955. The couple made their home in Peyton, Colorado. Over the years, they had four daughters and lived in various places, including: Nebraska, Colorado and New Mexico. In 1968, they moved to Gillette, Wyoming, where they called home. Minnie devoted her time to her children; she stayed home with them until each one was out of school. To get her through the empty-nest syndrome, she worked at the Farmers Co-Op for over five years.
Minnie enjoyed bowling, playing her piano and guitar, raising appaloosa horses with her husband, Don and she was very devoted to her faith.
Minnie is survived by her husband, Don Dunn of Gillette, Wyoming; her daughters: Jackie DeWine of Gillette, Wyoming; Jonni (Rex) Brown of Weston, Wyoming; Jerri (John) Betts, and Jimmi (Mick) Snyder, both of Gillette, Wyoming; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three brothers: John Griffin of Everett, Washington; Lewis Griffin of Walsh, Colorado; Dennis Griffin of Walsh, Colorado; two sisters: Beth Holterman of Ridgefest, California; and Susie Plashek of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Robert "Bobby" Leonard
Funeral service for Robert Leonard, known to his family and friends as “Bobby” will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 13, 2004, at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming with Father Thomas Kadera of the St. Matthew’s Catholic Church of Gillette officiating. Interment will follow at the New Haven cemetery in Hulett, Wyoming. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, August 12, 2004 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette.
Bobby Leonard, age 61, of Gillette, Wyoming died Thursday, August 5, 2004 at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette, Wyoming of natural causes.
Robert L. Leonard was born April 15, 1943, the son of Harold and Opal (Dennison) Leonard in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. Bobby was raised in the Hulett, Wyoming area, where his family ranched. He attended Campbell County High School in Gillette, Wyoming and remained in the Gillette area, working in the oil fields for many years, including Melgaard’s Construction where he drove truck for nearly ten years.
Bobby enjoyed genealogy and coin collecting.
Bobby is survived by two sons: William Duane Leonard and Eddie Leonard both of Gillette, Wyoming; four daughters: LaVonn Urrutia, Buffy Leonard, Raylynn Leonard all of Gillette, Wyoming and Christy Leonard of Oklahoma; one brother, James Leonard of Gillette, Wyoming; one sister, Betty Barkley of Rapid City, South Dakota; numerous grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter and one brother.

Les Simpson
Funeral services for Les Simpson will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 16, 2004, at the Saint Matthew’s Catholic Church in Gillette, Wyoming with Father Thomas Kadera officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette.
Les Simpson, age 52, of Gillette, Wyoming, died December 8, 2004, at the Shepard of the Valley Care Center in Casper, Wyoming of complications due to an aneurism.
Leslie Simpson was born April 17, 1952, the son of Alexander and Marjorie (Wilkinson) Simpson in Dollar, Scotland. Attending schools in Dollar, Scotland, Les graduated from the Dollar Academy and Falkner Technical College, both of which he was accepted into because of his high marks. While attending Falkner he was a journeyman electrician with Harlens Electrical Corporation. He was well respected and recognized for all of his accomplishments at work and home.
At age 21, Les moved to South Africa and worked as an electrical engineer for Rio Tinto. He became employed with P&H Mine Pro, building shovels in Chili and India. While working for P&H, Les moved to many places. In 1993, he moved to the United States, worked as a Service Representative in Milwaukee, Wisconsin resided in Arizona, then moved to Gillette, Wyoming, where he lived until present. In 2001, he worked as an Account Manager in Gillette.
In the summer of 1999, Les worked in Canada as a Project Manager and had the pleasure of meeting new friends as he traveled to Regina, Calgary, Brittish Columbia, Quebec and Montreal. He was also married
in Canada in 1999 to Shelia Myers.
Les was an avid outdoorsman; he loved fishing, hiking, bird watching and gardening. Les also enjoyed barbequing with friends and family, listening to baseball on the radio and watching it on to and going to watch the Colorado Rockies. Les also liked to work with his hands building and fixing things.
Les is survived by two sons: Terrence and Christopher Simpson, both of Johansburg, South Africa; his wife Shelia Myers of Gillette, Wyoming; his parents of Scotland; a step-daughter, Jillian Myers of Gillette, Wyoming; a step-son, Benjamin Myers of Gillette, Wyoming and one brother, Alex Simpson of Dollar, Scotland.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents and Aunt Pearl.

Sandra Murphy
A Private family memorial service will be held for Sandra Marie Murphy. Her ashes will be scattered near her beloved New York City. Sandra passed away at Campbell County Memorial Hospital as a result of a cardiac arrest in the early hours of September 30, 2005 surrounded by her loved ones.
Sandra was born on October 16, 1940 in Queens, NY to Arnold and Marie (Fritchman) Baker. She was a devoted mother and a loving wife. Sandra loved traveling the world and all animals, especially her beloved cats.
She is survived by her husband, Walter “Monto” Murphy of Gillette; her children Marianne Swofford, Joe Swofford both of Alvin, TX and Michael Swofford of Gillette; her brother, A. Robert Baker; and 5 grandchildren.
