Born August 23, 1911, in Deadwood, S. Dakota
Parents - George & Lila (Cook) Masonheimer
She grew up and graduated from high school in Bridger, MT. She worked as a clerk in the dry goods store. She married Royal “Bing” Hennebry on April 5, 1930, in Roundup, MT. During WWII, they lived in California and returned to Bridger after the war. In 1953, they moved to Sheridan where she worked for Diamond Lumber Co. until she retired. Mr. Hennebry died in 1994. She enjoyed music and playing the organ. Margaret was a very active member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in death by two brother and one sister.

Susan M. Henry, 54, of Sheridan passed away Thursday, September 7, 2000 at her residence. Memorial Services will be 2pm Sunday, September 10, 2000 at the Sheridan High School Auditorium with Rev. David Duprey officiating. Memorials may be made to the Sue Henry Memorial Fine Arts Scholarship Fund, in care of Sheridan High School, 1056 Long Dr., Sheridan, WY 82801. Kane Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Patrick E. Wheeler - Holohan, 54, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2000 at his residence in Dayton, Wyoming following a courageous battle with cancer. Private family services will be held at a later date. The family requests that memorials be designated to NORD (The National Orginization for Rare Disorders) P.O. Box 8923, New Fairfield, CT. 06812.
Patrick was born on September 5, 1946 in Paddington West England the son of Willian A. and Marjorie K. Thomson Wheeler-Holohan. He was raised and educated in England. He served in the British Army for seven years. In 1971, Patrick came to the United States and settled in Houston, Texas where he worked as a surveyor for numerous oil companies. While in Houston, Patrick started his own business, Exploration Geodesy, and on March 10, 1989 he became a United States Citizen. In the fall of 1997, Patrick moved to Dayton, Wyoming. On June 20, 1998, he was united in marriage to Susan Choat in Dayton. Following their marriage, the couple started their business "Four Pines of Dayton Bed and Breakfast." Patrick enjoyed spending time on the computer, but his greatest enjoyment was gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Susan of Dayton, Wyoming, his daughter Kennie Choat Wheeler - Holohan of the family home in Dayton, and his sister Patricia Barnham of England. Arrangements are with Champion Funeral Home.
Edgar Leroy Holsinger, 86, of Sheridan passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2000 at Sheridan County Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 22, 1914 in Shickley, Nebraska to Elmer L. and Agnes Blanchard Holsinger.
Eddie graduated from Chadron High School in 1932, and completed one year at Chadron College in chadron, Nebraska in 1933. On June 19, 1938 he married Peggy Lucille Barton in Sheridan, Wyoming and have resided in Sheridan for 63 years. He worked as a postal clerk, an assistant manager for Safeway, and owner of the Gospel Garden Bookstore for many years. Eddie enjoyed the civic theatre, scouting (attained the Silver Beaver Award), vocal singing, people, the Gideons, the gospel, and he was a member of the Red Grade School Board.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy; two daughters, Dixie and husband, Tom Roberts of Salem, Oregon, and Carole and husband Ben Harris of Wilton, Connecticut; two grandchildren, Tamara Jean Poteet of Anchorage, Alaska and Todd Blair Roberts of Orem, Utah; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10am Wednesday, August 9, 2000 at Kane Funeral Home with Pastors Tony Forman and Tim Charles officiating. Interment will follow in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Arthur S. Houston age 60 of Decker, Montana
Died Sunday, October 8, 2000 in the V.A. Medical Center, Sheridan, WY
Born March 4, 1940 in Newcastle, PA.
Parents- Dwight L. and Noreen (St. Clair) Houston
He attended school in Newcastle, PA. and Enlisted in the Army at age 17. He received an Honorable discharge on February 26, 1962. He served in Vietnam. He worked as a cowboy and ranch hand on several ranches in Montana and Wyoming.

A reception in memory of Art Houston will be Tuesday October 10, at 2pm at the VA Chapel in Sheridan.

Ardes L. Van Houten, passed away Wednesday, October 18,2000 at Westview Health Care Center in Sheridan, Wyoming at the age of 84. Private graveside services will be held at the Elks Cemetery on Saturday, October 21, 2000 with Reverend Doug Goodwin officiating.
Memorials in memory of Mrs. Van Houten may be designated to Westview Health Care Center for "Care Haven" in care of Delphine Toner, First Interstate Bank, P.O. Box 2007, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801.
Mrs. Van Houten was born on October 3, 1916 in Almeria, Nebraska, the daughter of William R. and Rebecca Brown. She was raised in Antioch, Nebraska and graduated from Antioch High School in May 1936. On November 22, 1937 she was united in marriage to Dan Orley Van Houten in Alliance, Nebraska. Mr. Van Houten was employed by Burlington Northern Railroad and they were transferred by the railroad to different locations during his employment. They lived in Alliance for many years, moved to Guernsey, Wyoming for 15 years, came to Sheridan in 1966 and was transferred back to Alliance in the 1970's. When Mr. Van Houten retired from the railroad in 1984, they moved to Sheridan. Mrs. Van Houten was a homemaker and her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed dancing and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dan on October 2, 1988, four brothers, three sisters, and her parents. Survivors include her two daughters, Sharon Jensen of Boise, Idaho and Nancy Schaffer of Sheridan, Wyoming, her brother William Brown of Sheridan, Wyoming, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were with Champion Funeral Home.
Ole M. Hoveland Age 87 of Sheridan, WY
Died Wednesday, October 11, 2000 in the VA Medical Center, Sheridan
Born - August 28, 1913, in Lidger wood, North Dakota
Parents - John and Gerhardina (Revne) Hoveland
He grew up and attended schools in Havre, MT, well as two years of Teacher's College. Ole married Lillian Fjeldahl in Havre, MT, on July 9, 1938. He served in WWII in the Ski Troopers, 10th Mountain Division in Pizza, Italy, and was wounded in action. Prior to moving to Sheridan, he owned and operated Hoveland's Men's Store in Miles City, MT. The family moved to Sheridan in 1958 and he worked at Shadoan's Men's Store. He also formed and operated in three surrounding states the Friendly Welcome Service for newcomers. He enjoyed high school and college basketball and football. He was a member of Kiwanis, Masons, Shrine and Trinity Lutheran Church. Ole enjoyed golf, bowling and all sporting activities. His family was his greatest interest.
Preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Lillian; and a brother, Stan.

Freddie "Fritz" Huckfeldt, age 56, of Sheridan, WY, died December 13, 2000, at his Sheridan home after a lengthy battle with cancer. Fritz was born April 16, 1944, in Torrington, WY, to Sam and Georginia (Booth) Huckfeldt. As a young child he was raised on a farm in Veteran, WY. He attended schools in Veteran and Torringtron. He served in teh U.S. Navy from 1961-1965.While in the service Fritz married Nancy Debus on March 17, 1962. Receiving an Honorable Discharge from the Nacy, he returned to live in Torrington and Wheatland are until moving to Sheridan in 1978. Fritz was manager of Clouds Peak Farmers CO-OP. Fritz enjoyed his work as well as ranching, rodeo, fishing, golfing, camping, and spending time with family and friends. He was a lifetime member of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church and of Immanuel Luthern Church.
Fritz is survived by his wife, Nancy; two daughters Deanna Mitchell and husband Lane of Casper, WY and Sheryle McKenzie and husband Rich of Sheridan, son Fred Jr. and companion Rachel Marty of Sheridan; five grandchildren April, Cody and Amber Mitchell, Gina and Jess McKenzie; one great grandson Dylan Mitchell; father Sam Huckfeldt and wife Ursula of Wheatland, one brother Bob Huckfeldt and wife Doroty of Newcastle, WY, one half brother Sammy Huckfeldt and wife Leslie of Wheatland; two step brothers John and Paul Huckfeldt of Wheatland, one step sister Christine Bauer of Yuma, AZ; friends adopted with love Joe and Sandy Pilch family of Sheridan and Steve, Shauna, Lindi and Kyle Veo of Parachute, CO, adn numerous other family members. Fritz was preceded in death by his mother Georgina Huckfeldt.
Memorial Services will be 2pm on Monday (Dec. 18th) from Immanuel Luthern Church with the Rev. William Heine officiating. Interment will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are with Ferris Funeral Home.

Hazel M. Husman Age 81 of Sheridan, WY
Died Monday, April 17, 2000, in Sheridan Manor
Born May 9, 1912, on the OW Ranch of the Kendrick Cattle Co.
where her father was a forman.
Parents - John & Bessie (McConnell) Turner
She grew up on the ranch at Tullock Creek, attended area schools and then graduated from high school in Hardin, MT. She met Albert Husman when he came with his father to build a stone barn on the ranch. They were married on December 28, 1931 in Hardin. They lived in Nevada and Washington where Albert worked on the Boulder and Grand Coulee Dams and then in Panama where he worked in the Canal Zone. In 1946, they came to Sheridan and the family began Husman Brothers, Inc. construction company. She loved the Lord and always trusted in Him. She was very active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and past president of the Lutheran Church Women.
