Mary Helen Sellers - 12/15/04
Memorial services for Mary Helen Sellers, 78, of Gillette will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Four Mile Building in Cheyenne with Bishop Lyle Gadbury conducting.
Burial of her urn will follow at Olivet Cemetery in Cheyenne.
Mrs. Sellers died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, S.D.
She was born June 24, 1928, in Cheyenne. She graduated from St. Mary's High School and went on to start nurse's training in Denver. While in Denver she met and married Frederick J. "Doc" Sellers.
They lived in several places in Wyoming and Colorado over the years. While in Laramie, she worked as a bookkeeper for a local bank and then at J.C.Penney.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a Girl Scout leader and a Boy Scout den mother. She enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and playing board games, cards and Keno.
Mrs. Sellers is survived by two sons, Terry Sellers and Frederick J. "Skip" Sellers, both of Gillette; two daughters, Vallerie Easton of Sheridan and Vickie Dunning of Englewood, Colo.; two sisters, Ann Beckle of Cheyenne and Judy Greene of Livermore, Calif.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lorena Burke.
Friends may contribute to the American Cancer Society, Children's Hospital in Denver or a charity of their choice.
Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes in Cheyenne is in charge of arrangements.
Carla Jean Fitch - 12/17/04
Funeral services for Carla Jean Fitch, 47, of Jordan, Mont., the daughter and sister of several Gillette residents, took place at 10 a.m. Dec. 4 at the VFW Hall in Jordan.
Burial followed at Steve's Fork Cemetery.
Mrs. Fitch died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at the family ranch in Jordan.
She was born in Sidney, Mont., on May 4, 1957, to Ron and Georgia (South) Carter. She and her family moved to Jordan when she was 9 years old.
On Sept. 17, 1973, she married Monte Fitch. They moved to the family ranch and spent the next 31 years there.
Mustang sports was a favorite of hers as she watched her son, Kyle, and the rest of the teams play ball.
Mrs. Fitch is survived by her husband of Jordan; her son, Kyle Fitch of Jordan; her parents; Fred and Georgia Schmidt of Gillette; four sisters, Rhonda Gaffield, Debbie Ledbetter and Sherry Orcutt, and Shelly Besel, all of Gillette; two brothers, Jim Carter of Gillette and Joe Schmidt of Brooklyn Center, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her father, one daughter, and one son.
Mary Kinnaird/12-19-04
Mary Jeanette Kinnaird, 80, of Gillette died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, with her family by her side. At her request no services are planned.
Mrs. Kinnaird was born to James and Mary (Hamilton) Culver on Dec. 14, 1924, in Fort Saskatchewan, Canada. When she was a child, her family moved to Piney Creek where they homesteaded. She was raised and educated in that area, graduating from Sheridan High School. While in high school, she was a cheerleader and like many other homesteaders, she stayed in town with a family while attending school.
After completing high school during World War II, she moved to Casper and worked as a civilian employee secretary at the Air Force base. She also worked as a secretary for various oil companies in Casper and Billings, Mont.
She married Robert Kinnaird Nov. 14, 1947, in Casper. The couple had one daughter.
After moving to Montana, she began her 30 years of working at the First Bank in Billings as a secretary and eventually was promoted to vice president of human resources, which was her position until she retired.
In 1998, she and her husband moved to Gillette to be closer to their daughter, Paula Degnan, and grandchildren, Ashley Sicks and Alyson Degnan.
She loved traveling, dancing, cooking, sewing, crocheting and doing word-find puzzles. She enjoyed gardening and hated dandelions with a passion. Her favorite pastime of all was spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Kinnaird is survived by her husband, Robert, daughter, Paula Degnan, two granddaughters, and one great-grandson, all of Gillette; and one sister, Frances Kennedy of Casper.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Alberta Shilling and Jean Todd.
A memorial has been established to benefit the Alzheimer's Foundation.

Justin Reynolds Jr. - 12/21/04
Funeral services for Justin Reynolds Jr., an infant, of Gillette will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marty Crump of the Family Life Church officiating.
Burial will follow at the Mount Pisgah Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
Justin Lee Reynolds was born Dec. 12, 2004, to Justin Reynolds and Stephanie Duffy in Gillette and died at home Dec. 19, 2004, of heart complications. His family was by his side.
He is survived by his parents of Gillette; his maternal grandparents, Angelina and Steven Duffy of Gillette; his paternal grandparents, Kelly Reynolds of Gillette and Cheryl Reynolds of Denver; and uncles and aunts.
He was preceded in death by five great-grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name to benefit the Angel Burial Fund for Campbell County Infants of the American Heart Association.

Howard Zimmerschied - 12/21/04
Graveside services for Howard Zimmerschied will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Oshoto with the Rev. Robert Smoot of Moorcroft officiating.
Mr. Zimmerschied, 92, of Carlile passed away Dec. 20, 2004, at the Crook County Memorial Hospital in Sundance of natural causes.
He was born on the family ranch near Carlile on March 15, 1912, to Fred and Leona (Eaton) Zimmerschied. He attended rural school, including the Moorcroft High School for two years. After his schooling he helped on the ranch for a few years, then worked for his cousin Tom as a ranch hand. In August of 1944, he married Grace Woods in Broadus, Mont. The couple ranched near Carlile.
He enjoyed horses and ranching. Friends referred to him as a good horseman.
Mr. Zimmerschied is survived by his wife, Grace, of Carlile; three sons, George Zimmerschied of Carlile, Dee Zimmerschied of Moorcroft and Dan Zimmerschied of Carlile; his brother Elbert Zimmerschied of Carlile; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name to benefit Crook County Home Health and Hospice, Crook County Memorial Hospital and Ambulance Service, or Sharon's Home Health.
