Montana A. Arrington
Former Cody resident Montana A. Arrington, 81, of Tucson, Ariz., died April 28.
Survivors include her husband George Arrington of Tucson, daughter Yvonne Bethel of Tucson, son Bill Arrington of Loveland, Colo., grandchildren Steve Cassell of Portland, Ore., Scott Cassell of Tucson, Linda Ruhser of Denver, Heidi Arrington of Fort Collins, Colo., Billy Arrington and Paul Arrington, both of Loveland.
A memorial service was Monday in Tucson.

Alma Sallee Irwin
Former Cody resident Alma Sallee Irwin, 83, died April 28, 2000, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Ill.
She was born June 14, 1916, in Menard County, Ill., to James Rutherford and Gesenia Margaretha Satorius Salle. She married

Howard Lee Irwin on Aug. 5, 1933, in Springfield.
While living in Cody she worked for Husky Oil Co., and was retired from Horace Mann Insurance in Springfield.
Survivors include her son Thomas and wife Ann Irwin of Decatur, Ill., grandchildren Timothy Irwin of Chicago, Sallee and Michael Taylor of Corinth, Texas, and Daniel and Karen Irwin of Morton, Ill., great-grandchildren Benjamin, Rachel and Jacob Irwin, sisters Marguerite Klein of Petersburg, Ill., Wanda and Robert Curry of Mansfield, Ill., and Lena Weinberg of Sheridan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, brother Floyd Sallee and sister Lula Spink.
Funeral services were Monday at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg with burial following in the Petersburg Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
DeLone Aleda Nicholas Jenson
DeLone Aleda Nicholas Jenson, 81, died Friday, May 5, 2000, at the Long Term Care Center.
She was born Dec. 18, 1918, in Brigham City, Utah, the daughter of Jasper N. and Aleda S. Jensen Nicholas. She married

Ray Norman Jenson on Nov. 26, 1938, in Parowan, Utah.
A resident of Cody for 36 years, DeLone worked as a nurses' aide and ward clerk at W.R. Coe Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a district leader of Girl Scouts of America, Beta Sigma Phi and Business and Professional Women.
DeLone was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served on the general primary board.
She loved her family and they came first in her life. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed many years of camping with her family.
Her flower gardens were beautiful and showed the special talent she had for growing any kind of flowering plant. DeLone also loved embroidery handiwork. Her work entailed intricate tablecloths and quilts.
Her love of music showed in her talent to conduct many church choirs from working with children in the primary to directing many church meetings.
DeLone's love of family also showed in her interest in family history and genealogy. She has left her family with a detailed family history.
She also enjoyed her work at W.R. Coe Memorial Hospital and helped many people. Her favorite area was the newborn care unit.
She is survived by her husband Ray of Cody, four children and their spouses Wray and Karen Jenson, Leon and Gerry Jenson, Pamela and Robert Pyle, all of Cody, Sheryl and Kreig Balls of Gillette, sisters Phyllis Oyler of Perry, Utah, Carma Anderson of Phoenix, and Yvonne Mason of Midvale, Utah, grandchildren Arthur "Jake" Jenson Stacia and Patrick Friedly, Chandel Smith, Shannon Jenson, Bryan Moore, Richard and Terri Brinkerhoff, Kimberly and Craig Abraham, Kristen and Mark Averett, Jeffrey Balls, Stacy Oster, Frank, Daniel, Jeffrey and Rachel Pyle, and great-grandchildren Jasper Jenson, Schyle Wood, Sean Smith, Chase Brownlee, Layke Friedly, Matthew Phoenix, Ryan and Devyn Brinkerhoff, John, Samuel, Jessica and Nathaniel Abraham, Sera and Korbyn Averett.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Cody Stake Center of the LDS Church. A viewing will be 9 a.m. until the service.

Thelma Loraine Brundage
Thelma Loraine Brundage of Basin died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at the Bonnie Bluejacket Memorial Nursing Home in Basin.
Thelma was born in Basin, the daughter of Fred and Inez McElhiney Frisby. She graduated from Basin High School and then worked at North American in California.
She enjoyed her family, friends and golf. She was also a good tennis player in her earlier years. She took pride in helping run Wheeler's Market, her family's grocery store.
Survivors include her daughter Ann Brundage of Basin, sister Florence Gentry of Cody, sister-in-law Gretchen Frisby of Billings, daughter-in-law Susan Vandenboom of Basin, granddaughter Cathy Pacheco of Bridger and great-grandchildren Kayla, Tony and Samantha of Bridger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raiford, son Robert and granddaughter Nancy Brundage.
Private family graveside services will be held in Mount View Cemetery in Basin.
Memorial donations may be made to the Thelma Brundage Breast Cancer Fund at Security State Bank in Basin.
William Eugene Dickinson
William Eugene Dickinson, 65, of Basin died Sunday, May 7, 2000, in Cody after a short illness caused by pulmonary fibrosis.
He was born Oct. 7, 1934, in Shell, to Raymond and Bessie Emil Smith Dickinson, the youngest of four boys. Their mother died when Bill was 13.
He attended grade school in Shell and high school in Greybull, graduating in 1952. He earned his professional land surveyor's license along with a civil engineering degree and license.
On Aug. 7, 1954, he married

Wanda Kay Small in Basin after a two-year courtship. They made their home in the Basin-Greybull area.
Bill coached baseball up through the Senior Babe Ruth level for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved collecting antiques for his daughter's shop.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served many years as a bishop. He gained the greatest joy from his grandchildren and family.
Survivors include sons Larry Dickinson of Thermopolis and David Dickinson of Wausau, Wis., daughters Diane Perry of Charlo, Mont., Janet Scott and Holly Dickinson, both of Idaho Falls, Idaho, brother Harold Dickinson of Basin and 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death four months ago by his wife and also by his parents and brothers Armor and Bud.
Memorials may be made in his name for disabled children to Security State Bank of Basin.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Basin LDS Church. Burial will follow at Mount View Cemetery in Basin.
Edgar Allen Mogen
Edgar Allen Mogen, 54, died May 1, 2000, at his home in Burlington.
He was born Aug. 25, 1945, in Williston, N.D., the son of Olie and Minnie Robbins Mogen.
Edgar worked in the oilfields for 35 years and was an Army veteran. His hobbies were his grandchildren and working on his yard.
Survivors include his wife Rosemary, daughters Susan Hagstrom of Peru, Ill., stepdaughters Holly House of Clark, Dawn Gracey of Kalamazoo, Mich., stepsons Sean May of Dearborn Heights, Mich., Bryan May of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, brothers Edward Mogen of Cody, Lester Mogen of Froid, Mont., Lloyd Mogen of Missoula, Mont., Bill Mogen of Kemmerer, sisters Ruth White of Roosevelt, Utah, and Darlene Nay of Tulsa, Okla., one granddaughter and four stepgrandchildren, 25 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services were Tuesday at the Burlington LDS Church. Burial of cremains will be in Froid at a later date.
Paul Ashton Dressen
Paul Ashton Dressen, 74, died Thursday, May 11, 2000, in Gillette.
He was born Dec. 26, 1925, in Mitchell, S.D., the son of George W. and Edith Dressen. Paul grew up and attended schools in Mitchell until the age of 17, when he entered the Merchant Marine, serving during World War II.

Patsy Stair on Jan. 14, 1948.
During the years he raised his family, Paul worked as a cowboy, lineman, real estate agent, construction contractor and journeyman electrician in South Dakota, Nebraska, California and Colorado.
Paul moved to Cody in 1985. He married

Marlene Erickson on Feb. 24, 1989. While in Cody, he worked as an electrician. At the time of his death, he was employed by Automation Electronics.
Paul was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 322 of Casper.
Survivors include his wife Marlene of Cody, sons Paul of Sonoma, Calif., Patrick of Durango, Colo., and Peter of LaPorte, Colo., daughters Pamela Faraone of El Paso, Texas, Phylis Stafford of Aurora, Colo., and Priscilla Dressen of Fort Collins, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Williams.
Graveside services were Monday at Riverside Cemetery.
David Allen Ward
David Allen Ward, 52, died Friday, May 12, 2000, at his home in Cody.
He was born March 28, 1948, in Eau Claire, Wis., the son of Donald E. and Winifred Attridge Ward.
David was raised in Bremerton, Wash. He married

Nancy Carneal on May 14, 1978, in Bellingham, Wash. The couple lived in Cocoa, Fla., for 17 years and moved to Cody a year ago.
For most of his life, David worked as a subcontractor laying electrical cable. He enjoyed fishing and camping and repairing jewelry.
Survivors include his wife Nancy of Cody, daughters April of Cocoa and Erica of Cody, brother Bill Ward of Port Orchard, Wash., sisters Dawn Behuke of Eau Claire and Barbara Pack of Sumner, Wash., and grandson Christopher Hurst of Cocoa.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is pending.
Katherine Donathan
Katherine Donathan, 78, of Meeteetse died May 21, 2000, at the Long Term Care Center.
Katherine Yeager Donathan was born Jan. 17, 1922, on a farm near Slater, Mo., to Albert and Novella Cott Yeager. She grew up and was educated in the Slater and Marshall, Mo., vicinity until moving to Meeteetse with her parents to be near her son Gary Pease.
In Meeteetse she met her husband Melvin L. "Jack" Donathan on Dec. 31, 1988.
Katherine was a member of Pioneer Baptist Church in Meeteetse and was devoutly religious. She served as financial secretary and Sunday school teacher as superintendent of Sunday school.
She was also active in Meeteetse Senior Citizens, acting as president for five years until becoming disabled from arthritis. This ailment caused her much discomfort for more than 30 years.
She is survived by children Gary Pease of Racine, Wis., Charles Pease of Marathon, Wis., and Bonita Maun of Meeteetse, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, three cousins and many friends.
Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Visitation will be at noon Friday followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday at Pioneer Baptist Church with interment following in Meeteetse Cemetery.
