PETER G. ZAHARAS
77

Cheyenne - Trisagion services for Peter G Zaharas, 77, wil be at 6:00 pm Sunday at the Schrader Chapel. The funeral will be at 10:00 am Monday at the Greek Orthodox Church of Saints Constantine & Helen with Father Dean Talagan and Father Peter Harrison officiating. Interment iwll be in Beth el Cemetery. He died November 20 in Cheyenne.

He was born June 7, 1920, in Doriza, Greece. He married " target="_blank">married Panayiota Giannakopoulos on October 23, 1943, Doriza. He immigrated to the United States in 1951.

Zaharas worked as a shoe repairman at South Side Shoe & Sporting Goods and later as a bartender at the South Side Bar. He and Nick Anest purchased the bar in 1967. In 1979 they established the Keg 'N Kork Liqour and Lounge. He served in the Greek Army during World War II and the Greek Civil War.

He was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of Saints Constantine & Helen and was affiliated with the G.A.P.A. and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He is survived by three sons, George Zaharas and Steve Zaharas, both of Cheyenne, and Nick Zaharas of Casper; one sister, Eleni Karahalios of Chicago, Illinois; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Panayiota, in 1992; two brothers, Steve and Kyriakos Zaharas; two sisters, Eleousa and Despoula; and one grandson, Steven Zaharas in 1985.

Pallbearers will be Nick Anest, Sam Contos, Pete Zaharas, Paul Zaharas, George Karras and Art Karahalios.

Friends may contribute to the Memorial Fund of the Greek Orthodox Church of Saints Constantine & Helen.

WILLIAM R. BOYD

Cheyenne - Memorial Services for William R "Bud" Boyd, 80, will be at 11:00 am Saturday at the Schrader Chapel with Father Tim Solon officiating. Cremation will be conducted at Schrader's Sunset Park Crematory. He died November 19 at Life Care Center in Cheyenne.

He was born in 1917. He married " target="_blank">married Dorothy Shipton on November 11, 1949, in Cheyenne.

Boyd had worked as a retail drover for Plains Dairy and Dairy Gold. He was a member of St Mark's Episcopal Church.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Boyd of Cheyenne; and numerous nieces and nephews in California and Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Nellie Boyd; three brothers; and two sisters.

Friends may contribute to St Mark's Episcopal Church, United Medical Center Hospice or a charity of their choice.

KENNETH D. MORGAN

Cheyenne - Cremation for Kenneth D Morgan, 82, will be conducted at Schrader's Sunset Park Crematory. He died November 18 at United Medical Center - East.

He was born October 28, 1915, in Hutchinson County, South Dakota. He married " target="_blank">married Viola Knowles in June, 1961, in Green River.

Morgan had been a train dispatcher employed by Union Pacific Railroad. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was a member of the Green River Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Viola Morgan of Cheyenne; one son, Lonnie K Morgan of Sedalia, Missouri; two daughters, Kathy Sue Koca of Bremington, Washington, and Linda Lee Pasco of Cheyenne; one sister, Ethel Harron of Rock Port, Missouri; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, one brother and two sisters.

Friends may contribute to Shriner's Crippled Children's Fund, in care of Cheyenne Shrine Club, PO Box 322, Cheyenne, Wyoming, 82003.

THELMA I. BELL

Mesa - Services for Thelma I Bell, 80, will be held Friday at Schrader Chapel. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery. She died November 15 in Mesa, Arizona.

She was born September 11, 1917, in Stoneham, Colorado. She married " target="_blank">married Loyd Bell on November 11, 1935, in Wellington, Colorado.

Bell had worked as a manager of Western Acres Mobile Home Park. She was affiliated with the Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Bell of Amarillo, Texas, Alvin Bell and Delbert Bell, both of Mesa, Arizona, Leroy Bell of Cheyenne, Melvin Bell of Kingman, Arizona and foster son Joe Callahan of Salinas, California; her daughter Wanda Vandervoort of Santa Ana, California; her sister Virginia Holley of Riverside, California; 18 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Bell, March 7, 1970; her brother Orson Leroy Wakefield in February, 1990; and her companion Ted Ronish in October, 1980.

Friends may contirbute to the American Heart Association.

GRACE R. BEASLEY

Cheyenne - A Memorial service for Grace R Beasley, 80, will be held at 2:00 on Tuesday at Schrader Funeral Homes with Father Tim Solon officiating. Cremation has been conducted by Schrader's Sunset Park Crematory. She died November 14 at Life Care Center.

She was born August 3, 1917, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Beasley had been a housekeeper and was retired. She was affiliated with the Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Mack samms of Yonkers, New York.

HOBART P. O'BRIEN

Cheyenne - Vigil for the Deceased for Hobart P "Hobie" O'Brien, 77, will be at 7:00 on Tuesday at the Schrader Chapel. Father Gerald Sullivan will officiate. Funeral Liturgy will be at 10:30 am Wednesday at St Mary's Cathedral with Father Rory Schiffbauer as the celebrant. He died November 16 at United Medical Center - West.

He was born June 26, 1920, in Denver. He married " target="_blank">married Marjorie Eykyn on June 15, 1950, in Laramie.

O'Brien was a member of St Mary's Cathedral, Kiwanis, Cheyenne Little Theatre, a volunteer at St Mary's School and a former VISTA volunteer and Adult Learning Center volunteer at Laramie County Community College.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie O'Brien of Cheyenne; three sons, Kevin O'Brien of Littleton, Colorado, Grady O'Brien of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and Kerry O'Brien of Sacramento, California; one daughter, Calin O'Brien of Cheyenne; one sister, Frances Oczkewicz of Everett, Washington; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Shaun O'Brien in 1984.

Pallbearers will be Wally Throgmorton, Art Putnam, John Votipka, Doc Amato, Ben Hernandez and Peter Aldana.

Friends may contribute to St Joseph's Children's Home in Torrington or United Blood Services.

Cheyenne - Private family services will be held for Adrian Warner, 67. Cremation will be conducted at Schrader's Sunset Park Crematory. He died November 17, at United Medical Center - West.

He was born April 9, 1930, in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Warner had been a deputy sheriff in Denver County, Colorado, for 30 years. He was retired.

He is survived by two sons, Robert Warner of Cheyenne and David Warner of Charlotte, North Carolina; one daughter, Catherine Thiel of Bennett, Colorado; one sister, Janice Serro of California; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife on September 20; one infant son, Thomas Scott Warner; and one sister, Norma Warner.

Friends may contribute to Meals on Wheels of the American Cancer Society.

ESTHER M. LOUDON

Cheyenne - Services for Esther M Loudon, 88, will be today at 2:30 pm at Schrader Chapel with the Pastor John Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Garden Cemetery. She died Sunday at the Life Care Center.

She was born January 18, 1909, in Eustis, Nebraska. She married " target="_blank">married Fred Loudon in 1934 in North Platte, Nebraska.

Loudon had been a microfilm operator employed by the State of Wyoming. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cheyenne.

She is survived by three sons, Ted Loudon of East Lansing, Michigan, Phil Loudon of Cheynne and Jack Loudon of Longmont, Colorado; one daughter, Phyllis Vongurg of Wheatland; one brother, Ben Jurjens of Salem, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Loudon; her parents, Martin and Iva Jurjens; one brother; and two sisters.

Pallbearers will be Warren Kreider, Paul Dunnigan, Lance Bower, Major Dorr, John Hylander and Clinton Pickard.

Cheyenne - Private family services will be held for Yetta Pollock, 95. She died Friday at Mountain Towers Health Care.

She was born May 3, 1902, in Poland.

Pollock was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Abraham Pollock and Louis Pollock, both of Cheyenne, and Hershal Pollock or Akron, Ohio; four daughters, Molly VanBemmel and Bessie Pollock, both of Cheyenne, Sharon Lauricella of Cleveland, Ohio, and Esther Mecyssine of Munster, Indiana; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Pollock; and two sons.
