Robert "Bobby" Leonard - 08/08/04
Funeral services for Robert "Bobby" Leonard, 61, of Gillette, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Father Thomas Kadera of the St. Matthew's Catholic Church officiating.
Internment will follow at the New Haven Cemetery in Hulett.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home.
He died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette of natural causes.
Mr. Leonard was born April 15, 1943, in Belle Fourche, S. D., to Harold and Opal (Dennison) Leonard. He was raised near Hulett on his family's ranch and attended Campbell County High School.
He remained in the Gillette area after high school, where he worked in the oil fields. He also drove truck for Melgaard's Construction for nearly 10 years.
He enjoyed genealogy and coin collecting.
He is survived by sons Duane Leonard and Eddie Leonard, both of Gillette; daughters LaVonn Urrutia, Buffy Leonard and Raylynn Leonard, all of Gillette, and Christy Leonard of Oklahoma; a brother, James Leonard of Gillette; a sister, Betty Barkley of Rapid City, S. D.; numerous grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter and one brother.

Vicki J. Christensen - 08/08/04
Funeral services for former Gillette resident Vicki J. Christensen, 53, of Perham, Minn., will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Calvary Lutheran Church in Perham, with the Rev. Roger Parks officiating.
Burial will follow at the Calvary Memorial Cemetery in Perham. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and at noon Monday at the Schoeneberger Funeral Home in Perham.
She died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at her home in Perham of cancer.
Mrs. Christensen was born May 25, 1951, in Clinton, Minn. to Allyn and Anniette (Martinson) Stotesbery. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1969.
On Oct. 11, 1969, she married Mark Christensen of Chokio, Minn. They lived in Fergus Falls, Minn., before moving back to Chokio, where she taught swimming lessons.
They moved to Alexandria, Minn., in 1978, and then to Gillette in 1985. While living in Gillette, she taught at the Campbell County School District Aquatic Center and at the Campbell County Recreation Center as a swim instructor. She also taught CPR and first aid.
In 1992, Mrs. Christensen moved to Perham, where she taught swimming and CPR/first aid and lifeguard skills.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Perham and enjoyed Bible study, cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of Perham; daughters Michelle Ehrhard of Gillette and Stephanie Christensen of Perham; sons Christopher Christensen and Titus Christensen, both of Minneapolis, Minn.; four grandchildren; her mother, Anniette Stotesbery of Clinton, Minn.; brothers, Craig Stotesbery of Appleton, Minn., Kevin Stotesbery of Izmir, Turkey, and Kelly Stotesbery of Big Stone City, S. D.; and a sister, Anita Kramer of Morris, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her father, Allyn Stotesbery, and by one brother, Joel Stotesbery.

Alberta Bush - 08/09/04
Funeral services for Alberta Bush, 92, of Hulett will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Hulett Civic Center with the Rev. Jim Greenacre officiating. Burial will follow at the Hulett Cemetery.
Mrs. Bush died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004, at the David M. Dorsett Health Care Center Facility in Spearfish, S.D., of natural causes.
She was born July 15, 1912, in Sundance to Vernie and Effie (Knerr) Taylor. She was raised on the Taylor Divide and attended country school and graduated from Hulett High School.
On Sept. 6, 1930, she married Bill C. Bush in Belle Fourche, S.D. The couple made their home east of Hulett and had six children. In 1960 she went to work as the librarian at the county and school library. She retired in 1975.
She enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles and feeding and watching birds in her yard.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hulett and a past member of the Rebecca Lodge in Hulett.
Mrs. Bush is survived by her four sons, Roger Bush of Cody, Mike Bush of Sundance, Jerry Bush of Casper and Kelly Bush of Gillette; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Jill Bush; one son, Tim Bush and four sisters.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of Fidler-Roberts & Isburg Funeral Chapel in Sundance.
Memorials may be directed to benefit the Hulett Ambulance Service.
Agnes Erisman - 08/10/04
Funeral mass for Agnes P. Erisman, 84, of Denver and the mother of a Gillette woman, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Denver. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery.
A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and a rosary at 7 p.m. at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel in Denver.
Mrs. Erisman died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, in Denver of natural causes.
She is survived by her husband; two sons; a daughter, Janice Wiseman of Gillette; two brothers; a sister; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Philip Bard - 08/11/04
Funeral services for Philip "P.J." Bard, 26, of Gillette, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Pisgah Cemetery.
A visitation has been scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Bard died Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper from injuries he received in a motorcycle accident.
Mr. Bard was born Aug. 10, 1977, to Philip Merrill and Janet Elaine (Tomlinson) Bard Sr. in Federal Way, Wash. He was raised and educated in Washington and after schooling he moved to Wyoming, where he began his career in welding. He was employed with Greg's Welding at the time of his death.
Mr. Bard was known for his outgoing personality and enjoying his life. He was an active member of Narcotics Anonymous.
He is survived by his fiancé, Maria Hair; one son, Austin Bard; two stepdaughters, Ashley and Samantha; two stepsons, Daniel and Jacob; one sister, Cassie Furrell of Missoula, Mont.; two half-brothers, Jim and Frank Cooper; one half-sister, Angela Cooper; two nephews; four nieces; one great-nephew; one great-niece; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
