Lawrence A. Guedesse - 05/21/04
Graveside funeral rites and burial for Lawrence A. Guedesse Sr., 72, of Pine Haven will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Pisgah Cemetery next to his son, Lawrence "Larry" Guedesse Jr. The Rev. Joel Wright of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate.
He died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of natural causes.
He is survived by his wife, Mary "Dolly" Guedesse of Pine Haven; three daughters, Shirley Spann of Glendale, Ariz., Patricia Peterson of Mapleton, N.D., and Katrina Guedesse of Aztec, N.M.; one son, Kevin Guedesse of Gillette; two sisters, Lorraine Hass of St. John, N.D., and Doris Anderson of Rolla, N.D.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Rosa Guedesse; one brother, Frank Guedesse; and one son Lawrence "Larry" Guedesse Jr.
A memorial in his name has been established and its use will be designated at a later date. Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Warren A. Nickerson - 05/21/04
A memorial service for Warren Albert "Al" Nickerson, 69, the brother of two Gillette residents and one Pine Haven resident, will be at 2 p.m. May 31 at the cemetery in Hannah, N.D.
He died Sunday, May 16, 2004, of injuries he received in a motorcycle accident in Arizona.
He was working for a construction company in Zuni, N.M., at the time of his death.
Mr. Nickerson is survived by one brother, Clifford Nickerson of Gillette; four sisters, including Faye Guedesse of Gillette and Mary Guedesse of Pine Haven; four children; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Burnham Jewkes Mortuary of Springerville, Ariz., is in charge of arrangements.
Harold 'Pete' Lincoln - 05/21/04
A private funeral service for Harold "Pete" Lincoln, 46, of Clearfield, Utah, was May 18, 2004, in Layton, Utah.
Mr. Lincoln died Friday, May 14, 2004, in Clearfield, Utah.
He was born Sept. 28, 1957, to Roger and Adah Olene Rader Lincoln in Buffalo.
He had lived in Wyoming.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Adah and Ray Wall of Texas; two sisters, Linda King of Utah and Deb Hays of Florida; two brothers, David Lincoln and Carl Lincoln, both of Wyoming; one daughter, Angela Johnston; one grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a daughter, Crystal Lincoln.

Donald Rosendahl - 07/27/04
Graveside services for Donald Rosendahl, 65, of Gillette, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Mount Pisgah Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Rudichar officiating.
Mr. Rosendahl died Friday, July 23, 2004, at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital.
He was born in England and moved to the United States during World War II. He spent part of his early life in foster care and in a children's home and was later adopted by the Rosendahl family.
He graduated from high school and attended some college classes in Iowa, studying business administration. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1962 and spent some time at Selfidge Air Base in Michigan. Mr. Rosendahl was trained in air flight maintenance and served as a flight mechanic for many years.
He lived in Iowa, Anchorage, Alaska, Seattle and Sheridan. In 1987, he moved to Gillette as a resident of the Pioneer Manor Nursing Home.

Malka Bestel - 07/29/04
Burial of cremains for Malka Bestel, 95, of Moorcroft will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Moorcroft Cemetery.
Mrs. Bestel died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital of natural causes.
She was born May 1, 1908, to Joe and Gaberala K. Moravec in Muskegon, Mich. She was raised and educated in Michigan and went on to operatic school where she went to Germany, France and Italy. She received a bachelor's degree from Clark's College in Washington. Upon finishing her schooling, she returned to the United States and married Frederick Bestel in Portland, Ore.
For 25 years she worked for the Crown Zellerback paper mill before retiring. In the late 1970s, Mrs. Bestel moved to Moorcroft, where she had lived since.
She was attending the Eastern Wyoming College in Moorcroft and she had taken more than 150 college credit hours. She had a beautiful voice and sang in many operas on the West Coast. She was also a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Moorcroft.
She is survived by one son, Dan Bestel of Sundance.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
A memorial has been established in Mrs. Bestel's name to benefit the Moorcroft High School music program.

Archie W. Lindsey - 08/04/04
Graveside services for Archie W. Lindsey, 93, of Powell and formerly of Gillette, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Pisgah Cemetery.
Mr. Lindsey died Friday, July 30, 2004, at Powell Valley Care Center of natural causes.
He was born May 29, 1911, in Red Cloud, Neb., to Ben D. and Laura (Kincaid) Lindsey. He was the oldest of four brothers and in 1917 the family moved to Gillette.
Mr. Lindsey graduated from Campbell County High School in 1929 and attended the University of Wyoming. He served in the U.S. Army in the Asian Pacific Theater in World War II. After the war he and his wife, Edna, owned Lindsey Food Market in Gillette.
In 1975 he retired and lived in Washington, Utah and Story.
He is survived by his daughter, Fran Wolfe of Powell; stepson, Chris Geis of Washington; brother, Jim Lindsey of Buffalo; two grandchildren and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna; his second wife, Edith; stepson Michael P. Geis and two brothers, Kenneth and Duane.
