her eternal companion Earl Gardner in the Logan, Utah LDS temple. Five children (Jeff, Deborah, Paul, Annette, and Jenette) blessed their marriage.

She was a loving wife and mother who always supported her family in everything that they did. She never missed a ball game, concert or church activity in which her family was involved.
Later in life, Colleen found her true calling as a grandmother. She had an amazing ability to assure that each of her 13 grandchildren felt as though they were the only one that mattered. Her genuine interest in them, and her concern for their happiness and well-being was implicitly known to even the youngest child. She loved being a mother and a grandmother, and would talk about her children and grandchildren to anyone who would listen.
Colleen spent her life in the service of others. Her tireless commitment to the needs and feelings of others will be remembered by the many people who received a meal, card, "candy gram," cookie, birthday lunch, or phone call at just the right time. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully served in many callings over the years, and provided countless hours of service.
