Over the years, she developed a very special relationship with Dick and Betty Wagner and their two daughters, Judy and Lisa, with whom she lived and babysat for many years. They considered her as a member of their family, always inviting her to birthday parties and other family holiday occasions even as their daughters grew up and had families of their own.

The loves of her life were her two granddaughters, April and Laura, with whom she spent many enjoyable years. She especially enjoyed listening to them play the piano, attending their recitals, and going to as many of their school programs and sports activities as she was able. Before her health prevented it, she loved going on trips with her family and visiting her many relatives in their home states. She valued and loved all of the many friends she made in Cheyenne and at Holy Trinity Manor. Some of her favorite things were playing bingo with her friends on Wednesday evening and taking part in all of the other activities they had at Holy Trinity Manor.
