Grace V. Parry
1910-2004
Grace Viola Parry, 94, of Cheyenne died Nov. 30 at United Medical Center-West.
She was born March 4, 1910, in Pittsburgh and had lived here since 1946.
Mrs. Parry was a nurses' aide.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Parry is survived by a nephew, John Abbott of Missouri City, Texas; and two nieces, Diana Kasprack and Janine Caville, both of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Parry on Dec. 21, 1973; her parents, John and Ive Abbott; a brother, Victor Abbott; and a sister, Myrtle Carmichael.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Rugged Cross Chapel in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bob Garrard officiating.
Interment will be in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Friends may contribute to First Presbyterian Church.
Visitation will be 5-6 p.m. today and 4- 5 p.m. Sunday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
Services are under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
Iris T. Ready
1919-2004
Iris Theodora Ready, 85, died Dec. 2 at her daughter's home in Mason, Wis.
She was born July 14, 1919, near Apache, Okla., the only child of the late Adam Henry "Doc" Seibert and Jesse Marie (Beall) Seibert.
She traveled from Oklahoma through Idaho and Montana as a young child, and then settled in Thermopolis, graduating from Hot Springs County High School, the class of 1936. There, she met Archie Lee Ready and married
him in Yakima, Wash., on May 10, 1943, before he left to serve in World War II. After the war, the couple returned to Cheyenne and lived there for more than 50 years until 2001.
She was trained as a cosmetologist and ran the Ready's Beauty Shop at her home in Cheyenne for many years. Her husband, Archie, preceded her in death on June 25, 2002.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Reinertson of Aurora, Colo., and Linda Ready of Mason; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
Interment will be at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
A private family memorial service will be at a later date.
James Atkinson
1979-2004
James Atkinson, 25, of Evans, Colo., died Dec. 2 at North Colorado Medical Center Hospice.
Mr. Atkinson was born Jan. 10, 1979 in Cheyenne.
He graduated from Cheyenne East High in 1997 and from the University of Wyoming in 2001 with a teaching degree.
He taught industrial arts at Maplewood Middle School in Greeley, Colo.
He loved playing football, snowboarding and spending time with his dogs, Molly and Layla.
He was a member of Windsor Community Church and Saint Mary's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Parachini-Atkinson of Evans, whom he married
Oct. 4, 2003; parents, Gerald and Lorraine Atkinson of Cheyenne; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mike and Deb Parachini of Evans; a brother, Kyle Atkinson of Cheyenne; a sister-in-law, Trisha Parachini of Evans; grandparents, George and Helen Dugas of Cheyenne, Ray and Lourine Hahlweg of Fort Morgan, Colo., and Betty Parachini of Greeley; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Elaine Atkinson.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at North Colorado Crematory, 700 Eighth St., Greeley, CO 80631.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the First United Presbyterian Church, 1321 Ninth Ave., Greeley CO 80631.
Kathryn A. Memmer
1936-2004
Kathryn Ann Memmer, 68, of Cheyenne died Dec. 2 at United Medical Center-West.
She was born Oct. 16, 1936, in Greeley, Colo., and had lived here since 1961.
Mrs. Memmer had retired as a fifth-grade teacher at Dildine Elementary and had been a teacher in various schools for 28 years.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Laramie County Retired Teachers Association and the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia.
Mrs. Memmer believed taking care of the Earth is very important and tried to instill this in her students through the years.
Mrs. Memmer is survived by two daughters, Julie Plucknett of Casper and Martha Garner of Flagstaff, Ariz.; a sister, Esther Langford of Greeley, Colo.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Elizabeth Reisig; and a brother, Kenneth Reisig.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Revs. Roger Rapp and Sarah Moening officiating.

Raymond Johnston
1930-2004
Raymond Johnston, 74, died Oct. 2 in Fargo, N.D., of injuries sustained in an auto accident.
He was born May 25, 1930, in Trail County, N.D., to Elmer and Mildred Johnston.
Mr. Johnston attended Oklahoma University, prior to his more than 20 years in the Air Force. Upon retiring, he made his home in Cheyenne, where he did volunteer service for other retirees at the F.E. Warren Air Force Base.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He was buried beside his parents in Grandin, N.D., in a private family service.
Barbara J. Anderson
1932-2005
Barbara Jean Anderson, 72, of Cheyenne died Jan. 14 at United Medical Center-West.
She was born Nov. 15, 1932, in Huntsville, Texas, and lived here for 30 years with prior residence in Grand Junction, Colo.
Mrs. Anderson was a custodian for Laramie County School District 1 at Cheyenne's Central High.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles Mayfield of Cheyenne and Jon and Petra Mayfield of Orlando, Fla.; three daughters, Toni Keslar and her husband Marvin of Cheyenne, Stacy Livingston and her partner, Gabrielle Henery, of Fort Collins, Colo., and Lisa Mayfield of Buffalo; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Allen and Reba Sylvester of Huntsville, Texas, and William and Molly Sylvester of Danbury, Texas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Dorothy Northcutt of Arlington, Texas and Sue and Kenneth Bounds of Clifton, Colo.; seven grandchildren, Robert Keslar, Warren Keslar, Alisha Keslar, Allison Keslar, Malachi Livingston, Sarah Mayfield and Jonathon Mayfield; one great-granddaughter, Mary Jane Livingston; a mother-in-law, Rita Mayfield of Houston; and longtime family friends, Judy and Rebecca Fisher.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Charles Mayfield on Dec. 17, 1970, and Vuel Anderson on Nov. 18, 2002; and her parents, Henry Nathaniel and Chessie Eleanor Sylvester.
The memorial service is 3:30 p.m. today at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes with Pastor Jason Ricks officiating.

She was a loving and devoted mother.
Bernice Clark
1923-2005
Bernice Clark, 81, of Cheyenne was called home to the Lord on Jan. 16 at United Medical Center-West.
She was born Dec. 12, 1923, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Laurence and Helen (Dragush) Klements.
Mrs. Clark has called Cheyenne her home for more than 40 years.
She was a legal secretary for a while for Loomis, Lazaer, Wilson and Pickett law firm. Later she went to work as a secretary for the Wyoming Highway Department of Transportation, retiring in the late 1980s.
Mrs. Clark was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and served many years in the Women's Guild.
She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Lamblin and her husband, Bret, of Cheyenne; two sons, Phil Clark and his wife, Anita, and David Clark and his wife, Rene, all of Cheyenne; three sisters, Helen Lister and Stephanie Coleman, both of Kansas City, and Edith Accardo of Claremont, Calif.; and four grandchildren, Chuck Clark, Bridget Smith, Michelle Clark and Nicholas Clark, all of Cheyenne.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, George Klements; and two sisters, Louise Strumillo and Betty Koch.
A Vigil for the Deceased will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Schrader Chapel. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Thomas Cronkleton Jr. officiating.
Inurnment will be at Mountain View Memorial Park.
Cremation has taken place at Schrader's Sunset Park Crematory.
Contributions may be made to St. Mary's School in memory of Mrs. Clark.
Elvira D. Apodaca
1936-2005
Elvira D. Apodaca, 68, of Cheyenne died Jan. 14 at United Medical Center-West.
She was born March 29, 1936, in Rainsville, N.M., and had lived here since 1950.
Mrs. Apodaca was a radiologist clerk for Cheyenne Radiology for 22 years.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Mrs. Apodaca is survived by her husband of 36 years, Robert G. Apodaca Jr. of Cheyenne; four sons, Mario Apodaca and Joe Mike Martinez, both of Cheyenne, Tomas Martinez of Rio Rancho, N.M., and James Martinez of Cheyenne; five daughters, Liz Martinez of Cheyenne, Bea Duran of Las Vegas, N.M., Melissa Rivera of Cheyenne, Tina Apodaca of Riverside, Calif., and Diana Rivera of Cheyenne; a brother, Ernest Duran of Cheyenne; seven sisters, Mela Sandoval and Maxine Casias, both of Cheyenne, Dahlia Romero of Fort Collins, Colo., Elenor Martinez of San Diego, Emma Buck and Genevieve Rivera, both of Rainsville, and Isabell Lovato of Holman, N.M.; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Juan Manuel Martinez; a daughter, Debbie Apodaca; her parents, Manuel and Beatrice Duran; and a brother, Eluid Duran.
Vigil for the Deceased will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
Funeral Liturgy will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Msgr. William Delaney as the celebrant.
Cremation will follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Gabe Apodaca, Adam Rivera, Berna Meza, Debbie Pando, Sheryl Romero and Dina Romero.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Martinez, James Martinez, Rudy Apodaca, Arthur Apodaca, Selena Placencio, Richard Apodaca, Breanna Martinez, Marco Hsiung, Josh Martinez, Jay Martinez and Dominic Apodaca.

Gary F. Enniss Sr.
1942-2005
Gary Franklin Enniss Sr., 62, of Wheatland died Jan. 15 at Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland from complications of cancer and emphysema.
Gary was born Oct. 18, 1942, in Murray, Utah, the son of Franklin and Elsie (Lamb) Enniss.
He retired from WYDOT, Laramie district, on July 31 as a construction inspector and materials analyst.
He joined the U.S. Navy on Nov. 16, 1961, and was honorably discharged after serving in Southeast Asia with the 7th Fleet. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading. He married
Cecelia Anna McGuire on March 6, 1968.
Gary is surved by his wife, Cecelia of Wheatland; daughter, Christine Fern Enniss of Cheyenne; son, Gary Franklin Enniss Jr. of Cheyenne; five brothers; and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family services are being planned for May.

Jeanne B. Clapp
1951-2005
Jeanne B. Clapp, 53, of Cheyenne died Jan.14 at her home in Cheyenne.
Jeanne was born Sept. 3, 1951, in Olivia, Minn. She attended the College of St. Catherine and earned a degree in 1978 to be a medical laboratory technician.
She met her husband while serving in the Peace Corps and married
him in 1986. They have lived in Cheyenne since 1989.
She worked for Dynacare and Labcorp since 1989 as a medical lab technician.
She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist church. She enjoyed camping, gardening and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Stanley of Cheyenne; a son, Ryan, of Cheyenne; her mother, Genrose Schmid, of Waconia, Minn.; three sisters; a brother; and a half brother.
The memorial service is 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 3005 Thomes.
Another local celebration of her life with a tree-planting ceremony is planned for the spring at Carver Park Reserve outside Victoria, Minn.
