Daquiri L. Barnes, 54, of Cheyenne died Nov. 19 at United Medical Center-West.
She was born July 27, 1950, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mrs. Barnes was a homemaker.
She married
William "Bill" Barnes on July 23, 1971, in Queens, N.Y.
Mrs. Barnes was a member of New Testament Christian Church.
She enjoyed playing bingo.
Mrs. Barnes is survived by her husband, Bill Barnes of Cheyenne; a son, Billy Barnes of Warner Robins, Ga.; two daughters, Lillian McEwan of Cheyenne and Angelique Barnes of Warner Robins; a brother, Ronald Turner of Brooklyn; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lillian Turner.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. today at New Testament Christian Church, 3800 Pershing Blvd., with the Rev. Gino Lizarraga officiating.
Cremation has taken place.

Dennis W. Chapman
1945-2004
Dennis Wilbur Chapman, 59, of Cheyenne died Nov. 18 in Cheyenne.
He was born April 1, 1945, in Denver and had lived here for 35 years.
Mr. Chapman served in the Air Force in Vietnam.
He was an administrator for Homeland Security for the state of Wyoming.
Mr. Chapman was a member of the Fiero Club.
He is survived by a son, Robert Chapman of Cheyenne; two daughters, Teri Simpson of Story and Melissa Cain of Frederick, Colo.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nadine Chapman.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. today at First Congregational Church with the Rev. Dave Carlson officiating.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Honor Guard.
Friends may contribute to The Salvation Army.

Rose Reiling
1923-2004
Rose Reiling, 80, of Cheyenne died Nov. 20 at Spring Creek Nursing Home in Fort Collins, Colo.
She was born Nov. 28, 1923, in Lincoln, Neb., and had lived here since 1976 with prior residence in Laramie.
Mrs. Reiling married
Willard Reiling on May 20, 1949, in Seward, Neb.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Reiling is survived by two sons, Richard Reiling of Poulsbo, Wash., and Randal Reiling of Cheyenne; two daughters, Nancy Evans of Cheyenne and Sandra Logan of San Marcos, Calif.; a brother, Jacob Loos of Lincoln; a sister, Anne Gergen of Lincoln; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Reiling, in 1997; her parents, Jacob and Paulina Loos; and 10 siblings.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. today at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes with the Rev. David Caspersen officiating.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Sally F. Renner
1922-2004
Sally Forsee Renner, 82, of Jefferson City, Mo., a former Cheyenne resident, died Nov. 20 at St. Mary's Health Center.She was born Oct. 28, 1922, in Ashland, Mo., the daughter of John Alexander and Lydia Gladys Hickam Forsee.
Mrs. Renner graduated from Ashland Consolidated School and Capitol Commercial College.
She was married
on May 22, 1943, in Jefferson City to Elwood John Renner. The couple lived in Kansas City, Mo., for 10 years where she was employed at Metro's Golden Mayer.
Mrs. Renner lived in Cheyenne from 1953 to 2003, where she was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her son, John David Renner of Moniteau County, Mo.; a sister, Hallene Turbett of Aurora, Colo.; two half-brothers, Jesse Frank Hickam of Wilmington, Del., and Marvin Hickam of Columbia, Mo.; two half-sisters, Bonnie Walker of Manchester, Mo., and Evelyn Hickam of Jamestown, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood John Renner, on May 11, 1998; two sisters, Adelia Forsee and Lorraine Alfring.
Cremation will be followed by a private family memorial service at a future date.

Shirley J. Wittler
1927-2004
Shirley J. Wittler, 77, of Cheyenne died of cancer Nov. 22 at United Medical Center-West in Cheyenne.
She was born Oct. 10, 1927, in Ravenna, Neb., to Minnie (Frink) and Earl Wade.
She married
LeRoy F. Wittler on Dec. 31, 1946, in Winside, Neb. This New Year's Eve would have been their 58th anniversary.
She attended the University of Nebraska School of Nursing and served as a nurse in the Cadet Nurse Corps during World War II. She worked as an office nurse in Lincoln, Neb., from 1947-1951, and later entered the real estate profession and became a broker. She was a member and president of the Lincoln, Neb., League of Women Voters.
In 1968, Mr. and Mrs. Wittler moved to Cheyenne where she joined Tom Searl Realty as a broker and continued her work with the League of Women Voters and Women's Civic League.
In 1976, she became Wyoming state deputy treasurer and served in that position until 1979. She was then elected to the office of Wyoming state treasurer, serving until 1982. She then served on the State Board of Equalization for five years, two of which she served as chairman. She retired in 1990.
She is survived by her husband, LeRoy Wittler of Cheyenne; brother, Richard Wade of Lincoln, Neb.; two daughters, Julie Skelton and her husband Greg of of Estes Park, Colo., and Barbara Mecum and her husband, Robert "Doug" Mecum of of Juneau, Alaska; three grandchildren, Crystal Skelton of Billings, Mont., Brianne Mecum, and Bryce Mecum, both of Juneau, Alaska.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Janet Lee Wittler in 1954.
A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Schrader Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger W. Rapp officiating.
Interment will be Monday in Pleasant View cemetery in Winside.
Virginia G. Beaumont
1911-2004
Virginia G. Beaumont, 93, of Cheyenne died Nov. 22 in Cheyenne.
She was born June 29, 1911, in Lincoln, Neb.
She was a medical records secretary for Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, Calif.
Mrs. Beaumont graduated from Kent State University.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, a 50-year member of PEO, including its Chapter C, and was a ship to shore operator during World War II.
She moved to Cheyenne in 1991.
She is survived by nieces, Catherine Stoughton of Cheyenne, Elizabeth Dolan of Dover, N.H., Suzanne Panier of Newport Beach, Calif., and Barbara Cunningham of Rhinebeck, N.Y.; one nephew, William Dolan of Portland, Ore.; four grandnephews; and a grandniece.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Beaumont, in 1973.

William R. Dietz
1914-2004
William R. Dietz, 90, of Cheyenne died Nov. 19 at United Medical Center-West.
He was born June 30, 1914, in Chicago and had lived here since 1987.
Mr. Dietz was a stationary engineer for Brach's candy company.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Dietz was a member of AARP, Masonic Lodge and American Legion in Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Dietz, on Sept. 18, 1999; his parents, William and Elsie Dietz; a brother, Howard Dietz; and a sister, Dorothy Adler.
Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes with Major Kyle Trimmer officiating.
Interment will be at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Honor Guard.
Pallbearers will be Loren Trimmer, Tim MacNamara, LeRoy Harvey and Bonnie Mestos.
Arthur J. La Croix Jr.
1917-2004
Lt. Col. Ret. Arthur J. La Croix Jr., 87, of Cheyenne died Dec. 2.
He was born April 16, 1917, in Chicago Heights, Ill., to Arthur J. La Croix Sr. and Rachel La Croix.
He worked as a time and motion engineer in an iron smelting factory, owned a ceramics company and was an engineer for Montgomery Wards.
He joined the Army Air Force on April 15, 1944, and was discharged Feb. 21, 1958. He joined the National Guard on Feb. 22, 1958, and retired Nov. 1, 1968. He was one of the first men to fly into an eye of a hurricane.
He flew in Japan, Korean and Porto Rican Theaters, and he served as an aide to four-star Gen. Eugene Partridge in Japan in 1953-54.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, and he was a lifetime member of the Eagles Lodge and the American Legion.
He became a Wyoming real estate broker in 1959 and owned ALCO Realty until November 2004.
He served as chairman of the board of Wyoming Real Estate Commission. He was a past president of the board of Realtors and was Realtor of the Year in 1977. He was honored by the Cheyenne board of Realtors on his 80th birthday in 1997.
He married
his first wife, Virginia Lee Kelt, in Chicago on March 26, 1936.
Mr. La Croix is survived by his wife, Verna M. La Croix, whom he married
May 15, 1981; five children, Saundra Sue Bothwell of Irving, Texas, Arthur "Jay" La Croix III of Thornton, Colo., Virginia Lee Barkell of Pine Bluffs and Sean Andre La Croix and Patrick Wallace La Croix, both of Cheyenne; two stepchildren, Jacqueline Irene Gallo of Cheyenne and Richard D. Amberson of Aurora, Colo.; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Monsignor William Delany officiating.
Friends may contribute to the National Parkinson Foundation or the American Heart Association.
Clyde R. Jones
1945-2004
Clyde Roy Jones, 59, of Cheyenne died Nov. 29 at United Medical Center-West.
He was born March 22, 1945, in Fort Collins, Colo.
He married
Verna Douglas on June 27, 1977, in Riverton.
Mr. Jones was a truck driver for several different companies and most recently his own company, Clyde, Clyde and Tim. He also was a computer technician.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Verna Jones of Cheyenne; two daughters, Belinda Hanson of Cheyenne and Jana Hansen of Phoenix; five sons, Clyde R. Jones Jr. of Casper, Joey Jones of Seattle, Jerry Mackey and Jimmy Mackey, both of Big Piney, and Leonard Mackey of Logan, Utah; two sisters, Glenna Lackey of Denver and Nancy Hinton of Cheyenne; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha and Joseph Jones; a brother, Robert Jones; and a niece.
Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Sarah Moening officiating.
Cremation was held at Schrader Sunset Park Crematory.
