Janis L. Pearl
November 29, 1931 - November 15, 2003
Funeral services for Powell resident Janis L. Pearl will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2003, at 11:00 a.m., at the Union Presbyterian Church in Powell, with Reverend David Hunter officiating. Burial will follow at the Hillside Cemetery in Greybull.
A visitation will be held at the Union presbyterian Church from 10-11 on Thursday prior to the services.
Janis, age 71, lost a courageous and valiant battle with cancer early morning on Saturday, November 15, 2003, at her son`s home in Greybull.
Janis was born in Sundance on November 29, 1931, to Andrew "Andy" and Lou (Graham) Williamson. She received her schooling in Sundance.
Janis is preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Lou Williamson; Husband, Dale J. Wright; a brother, Eugene "Gene" Williamson; a sister, Mauvie Williamson; and a grandson, Ryan Mollenbrink.
She is survived by her husband, Bill E. Pearl of Powell; a sister, Mavis Hunt of Greybull; two sons, Terry (Janet) Mollenbrink of Greybull and Gary Mollenbrink of Billings; two daughters, Sherry (Bill) Byxbe of Billings and Andrea Hawthorne of Powell; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to go to the Powell Valley Hospice, c/o First National Bank, the Janis L. Pearl Memorial, P.O. Box 907, Powell WY 82435.

Mary Irene Boyle Malliot
November 10, 1911 – November 13, 2003
Mary Irene Boyle Malliot, 92, died at Powell Valley Healthcare Center on Thursday, November 13, 2003.
She was born on November 10, 911 in Farnam, Neb., to Roy and Nellie (Hunt) Boyle.
Mrs. Malliot is survived by her son, Frank Malliot and former daughter-in-law Linda Malliot of Lovell; daughters, Mary Layne and husband Earl of Brookings, Ore., Doris Sievers and husband Richard, and Frances Erickson and husband Marvin, all of Powell; a brother, Ernest Boyle and wife, Norma of Powell; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Her parents; husband; sisters, Edith Scrutchfield, Lois Boyce and Louise Boyle; brothers, Albert, Frank, Raymond, Gene, Cecil, Laurence and Harvey Boyle, and a great-granddauhter, Brandi Schuttemeier, preceded her in death.
Graveside services and burial will be held on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, at 1 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery, Powell, with Fred Zier officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Angel, Duane Morris, Freddie Zier, Frank Malliot, Melvin Mauch and Richard Sievers. Honorary pallbearer will be Marvin Erickson.

Jessica (Jessi) Marie Lennon
July 26, 1986 – October 7, 2002
Jessica (Jessi) Marie Lennon, 16, died October 7, 2002, in a car accident as she was going to school.
Jessie was born in Powell on July 26, 1986, to Vicky Klepinger and J.D. Lennon. She hated being called Jessica, refusing to answer to it; therefore, she became Jessi.
Jessi is survived by her parents, Vicky and J.D.; one brother, Joshua Lennon, living in Florida; her grandparents, Dan and Loretta Klepinger of Florida; Joseph and Jeanette Lennon of Powell; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, at 1 p.m. at the Cowley LDS Church. Burial will follow at the Cowley Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established at Bank of Lovell.
Karen Gribble Nicholson
Dec. 2, 1950 -- Oct. 5, 2002
Karen Gribble Nicholson of Lovell, died Oct. 5, 2002, at North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell.
She was born December 2, 1950, in New Philadelphia, Ohio, to Fred and Marion Gribble.
Mrs. Nicholson is survived by her two sons, Michael and James of Lovell; two brothers, Fred (Jackie) Gribble of Pueblo, Colo., Keith of California; a sister, Sharon (Jim) Fink of Lovell; nephews, Christopher, Erik, Zach and Tim.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nick and her parents, Fred and Marion.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002, at Lovell Cemetery.
Henry (Hank) Kober
Dec. 3, 1919 – Oct. 5, 2002
Henry "Hank" Kober, 82, died on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at the New Horizons Care Center in Lovell.
Henry was born Dec. 3, 1919, in Toppenish, Wash., to Henry and Elizabeth Kober.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy; son, Chris; daughters, Bethany, Carol and Laurie; and his granddaughter, Claire. Also surviving are his sisters, Clara (Jack) Smith, Virginia (Earl) Hollingsworth, Anna Marie (Bill) Griffel, Vivian Roberts, Shirley (Frank) Strong and sisters-in-law, Jen, Alice, Lou and Diane; and nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and brothers, Willie, Emil, Ernie, John, Bud, Clarence and Vernon.
Graveside services will be Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the Park City, Mont. Cemetery with Pastor Christopher Brandt of St. John’s Lutheran Church officiating.
Jeff Bischoff
Jeff Bischoff, son of Jim and Cheri Bischoff died November 14, 2002, in Lovell.
He was born June 6, 1975.
He is survived by his mother; father; two brothers, Jack and Wade; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service was held November 18.
Arnold William Korell
March 18, 1924 – Nov. 29, 2002
Arnold William Korell, 78, of Billings died Friday morning, Nov. 29, 2002, at the Aspen View Retirement Residence.
Arnold was born in Lovell on March 18, 1924, a son to Jake and Rosie (Schmidt) Korell.
Survivors include his sister, Beata Wamhoff of Powell; children, Terrill (Velma) Korell of Grass Valley, Calif., Arneen Korell of Billings and Renee (Tim) Wilson of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Rachael, Josselyn and Chelsea Korell, Stephanie (Josh) Howell, Kevin and Erica Jarussi, Alyssa, Jake and Olivia Wilson; his great-granddaughter, Olivia Howell; numerous nieces and nephews; and his special companion, his dog Nokka, who was the light of his life.
Arnold was preceded in death by his wife, Doreen on January 6, 1997.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Cremation will follow services. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2525 6th Ave. N, Billings, MT 59101, the Montana Talking Book Library, P.O. Box 201800, Helena, MT 59620-1800, or to the charity of one’s choice.

Harvey A. Lohrenz
Harvey A. Lohrenz died Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at the Powell Hospital. He was 76.
He was born on August 10, 1926, in Lovell to Conrad and Katherine Lohrenz.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; and four children, sons, Jerry Lohrenz and wife Becky of Ralston, Jim Lohrenz and wife Ruth of Littleton, Colo., Randy Lohrenz and wife Lori of Powell, and daughter Kristi Lohrenz of Emmonak, Alaska; 10 grandchildren, Jackie Canup of Ralston, Jennifer Lohrenz of Anchorage, Alaska, Brent and Kyle Lohrenz of Cody, Lance Lohrenz and wife Jennifer of Phoenix, Ashley (Lohrenz) Brenning and husband Brian of Fort Collins, Matthew Lohrenz of Fort Collins, Stephanie Lorenz of Phoenix, and Lorissa Lohrenz of Powell; nine great-grandchildren, two brothers, Edwin and Robert Lohrenz of Powell; two sisters, Glorianne (Lohrenz) Frame of Powell and Ruth Jordan of South Yarmouth, Mass., and numerous nephews and nieces.
Mr. Lohrenz was preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings.
Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Powell Thursday, December 5, 2002, at 10 a.m. with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Hazel L. Miller
Jan. 5, 1911 – Jan. 28, 2003
Former Lovell resident Hazel L. Miller, 92, died January 28, 2003, in Chandler, Ariz.
She was born January 5, 1911, in Harlan, Ky., to Edwin L. and Mayme Jones. Hazel married Bert B. Miller in 1933. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Miller is survived by a daughter Jayne L. Varian of Nevada City, Calif.; sons, Barry E. Miller of Chandler and Ronald A. Miller of Dexter, Mich.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Hazel’s married life took her to many locations both domestic and overseas including four years living in Madrid, Spain and Geneva, Switzerland.
Services were held Saturday, February 8, 2003, with burial following.
In keeping with Hazel’s legacy of giving and community service, memorials may be made to Hospice of The East Valley, 1550 S. Alma School Road, Mesa, AZ 85210; the Hazel and Bert Miller Business Scholarship Endowment Fund, The University of Findlay, 1000 N. Main Street, Findlay, OH 54840; or a charity of the person’s choice.
Don Denman death notice
Funeral services will be held this Saturday, June 14, 2003, for former longtime Lovell resident Donald H. Denman, who died Tuesday in Fort Collins, Colo.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. at Haskell Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at the Lovell Cemetery.
Iva L. Huffman
July 30, 1918 – September 2, 2003
Private services will be held at a later date for Lovell resident Iva L. Huffman, 85, who died September 2, 2003, at New Horizon’s Care Center.
Born July 30, 1918, in Mora, Minn., she was the daughter of Charles and Ellen (Cooper) Bitner and was raised on the family farm there.
Survivors include five children, Dennis and wife Dorothy, Faith, Steven, Ned and Paul and wife Sandy; one brother, Lee Bitner; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, two brothers, both husbands, and four children.
