Vivyenne B. Hedlund

Vivyenne B. Hedlund, 96, of Cheyenne died March 10 at Life Care Center in Cheyenne.
She was born Jan. 29, 1911, in Banner County, Neb.
Mrs. Hedlund was a mother and grandmother. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She was also a member of Oakleaf Chapter No. 6, Order of the Eastern Star and a past worthy matron, a member of the Methodist Church Friday Prayer Group and the Tuesday Club.
She is survived by her son Don Troyer of Westminster, Colo.; daughter Iris Willadsen of Cheyenne; daughter - in - law Charlyne Troyer McIrvin of Cheyenne: sisters Vera Angell of Torrington and Ruby Pauli of Cheyenne; seven grandchildren; 11 great - grandchildren and eight great - grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leonard Troyer and Howard C. Hedlund; two sons, Earnest Troyer and Clinton Troyer; two brothers, Duane "Buck" Ward and John Ward; a sister Georgia Fenton; and a great - granddaughter, Bobbi Miller.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church with the Reverend Trudy Robinson officiating. Graveside service and burial will be 2:30 p.m. at LaGrange Cemetery in LaGrange.
Pall bearers will be Jeff Horton, Len Troyer, Tracy Troyer, D.J. Troyer, Toad Miller, Riley Null, Lenny Breitenbach and Josh Troyer.

Henry E. Alcon
1968 - 2007
Henry E. "Hank" Alcon, 38, of Cheyenne died March 9 at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Cheyenne on June 11, 1968.
Mr. Alcon had lived in Cheyenne most of his life and was employed in construction.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Survivors include one son, Gage Alcon of Cheyenne; his parents, Henry D. and Jackie Alcon of Upland, Calif.; one brother, Anthony Alcon of Upland; one sister, Marcy Alcon of Upland; paternal grandparents, Daniel and Cordelia Alcon of Cheyenne; maternal grandmother, Alice Lucius of Tiffin, Ohio; nieces, Misty, Nora, Mina and Opal Rose; nephews, Johnny and Joey; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his best pal, Bear.
Vigil for the deceased will be 6 p.m. today at Wiederspahn - Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
Funeral liturgy is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Cronkleton as celebrant.
Pallbearers will be Alex Arellano, John Curtis, Michael Curtis, Curt Davis, Germane Sahle and Dave Sanchez.
Interment will follow at Olivet Cemetery.
Lorraine F. Frank
1923 - 2007
Lorraine F. Frank, 84, of Cheyenne died March 8 at Davis Hospice Center.
She was born Jan. 21, 1923, in Watertown, S.D., and had lived in Cheyenne since 1963 with prior residence in Greeley, Colo.
Mrs. Frank was a cook for Laramie County School District No. 1.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Daryl Frank of Cheyenne, Gary Frank of Eaton, Colo., Larry Frank of Brighton, Colo., and Duane Frank of Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter, Glennda Frank of Cheyenne; a sister, LeOra Wolf of Florida; and eight grandchildren; and 15 great - grandchildren and one great - great - grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn R. Frank; her parents, Lawrence and Minnie Goodale and a sister Neva Seburn.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Wiederspahn - Radomsky Chapel with the Rev. Delbert Hansen officiating. Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Friends may contribute to Davis Hospice Center.
Alexis A. Shive
1944 - 2007
Alexis Alice Shive, 63, of Cheyenne died April 3 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Philadelphia on March 15, 1944, but has resided in Cheyenne since 1983.
Mrs. Shive owned and operated Rocky Mountain Window Tint.
Survivors include her husband, Francis, whom she married in Cheyenne on June 29, 1982; two sons, Edward Stegena of Levittown, Pa., and Michael Stegena of Casper; six grandchildren; one great - grandchild; and one sister, Anne Thomas of Cheyenne.
She was preceded in death by one son, David Stegena, and her parents, Alexander and Norma Potocki.
Memorial services are 10 a.m. Friday at Wiederspahn - Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes with Rev. Roger Rapp officiating.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Evelyn B. Paltridge
1935 - 2007
Evelyn B. Paltridge, 72, of Cheyenne died April 2 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 21, 1935, in Ash Grove, Mo. She had lived here for the past two years with prior residence in Phoenix.
Mrs. Paltridge was a member of Women of the Moose.
She is survived by a brother, Kenneth R. Bell; a sister, Fanny Lucille Williams of Cheyenne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Paltridge was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Paltridge; a brother, Donald E. Bell; and her parents, James M. and Ada L. Bell.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn - Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.

Thaddaus A. Wagner
1916 - 2007
Thaddaus A. Wagner, 90, of Cheyenne died April 2 at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne.
He was born Oct. 8, 1916, in Scranton, Pa.
Mr. Wagner retired from the United States Air Force and then taught at elementary schools in the Cheyenne area.
He married Jane Matyjanowski on Nov. 10, 1945, in Michigan.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Wagner of Cheyenne.
Mr. Wagner was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Stella (Przezinska) Wojcienchowski; two brothers, Frank and Edward Wojcienchowski; and a sister, Jeanette Kraszewski.
At his request, no services will be held in Cheyenne.
Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery.

Doris M. Hopkins
1927 - 2007
Doris Mae Hopkins, 80, of Cheyenne died Monday at Mountain Towers.
She was born Jan. 24, 1927, in Rock Springs and had lived here since 1950.
Doris was a member of the Eastern Star and an honorary member of the Shrine Club.
Mrs. Hopkins is survived by a son, Donald Hopkins of Cheyenne; a daughter and son - in - law, Paula and Pat Harrington of Cheyenne; a brother and sister - in - law, Vernald and Dorothy Jensen of Mesa, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Marsha and David Williams of Cheyenne and Michael Harrington of Cheyenne; and a great - grandson, Billy Williams of Cheyenne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. Hopkins in 2006; an infant son, George Hopkins; her parents, Clarence and Blance Jensen; a brother, Ronnie Jensen; and three sisters, Shirley Tresler, Esther Larrebee, and Viola Hill.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn - Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
