Kay Dominguez - Laumbach
1916 - 2006
Kay Dominguez - Laumbach, 90, of Cheyenne died Dec. 6 in Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 8, 1916, in Topeka, Kan.
Mrs. Dominguez - Laumbach was a retired maid at the Downtowner Motel.
She was survived by six children; three sisters; two brothers; 23 grandchildren; and numerous great and great - great - grandchildren.
Mrs. Laumbach was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Laumbach; two children; two sisters; and one brother.
Vigil for the Deceased was held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Schrader Chapel.
Funeral Liturgy will be 10:30 a.m. today at St. Mary's Cathedral with the Father Glen Szczechowski officiating.

Helen Dixon
1923 - 2006
Helen Dixon passed away peacefully Dec. 10 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
She was surrounded by three generations of her family when she was delivered unto the hands of God.
Helen was a loving and devoted mother to her nine children.
She was born Jan. 22, 1923, in Philadelphia.
As a young woman, she ventured out, joined the Red Cross and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. She met her beloved Ray Dixon on Okinawa, where they married Jan. 21, 1949.
Helen and Ray later settled in Cheyenne.
Helen was a voracious reader. She also loved history and spending time with family and friends.
She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed telling stories.
Helen is survived by her two sisters, Bettie Garty and Tracey Cummins; her brother, the Rev. Joseph Waters; her nine children and their spouses, Bidi and Mike Millet, Pete Dixon, Anne and Donny Goddard, Julie and Rich Johnson, Jean and Russ Rux, Matthew and Kristin Dixon, Molly and Kevin Haggerty, Lucy and Mark Stacy and Joe and Mary Dixon; 21 grandchildren, Chris, Angela and Katy Millet, Derek Dixon, Clare, Ellen and Bess Goddard, Emily and Charlie Johnson, Ben, Alicia, Abby, Clint and Maggie Rux, Bridget Dixon, Brendon, Patrick and Lara Rose Haggerty, Sarah and Jack Stacy and Leo Dixon; and three great - grandchildren, Riley and Clayton Rux and Noah Millet.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Dixon; and her brother, Charles Waters.
Friends may contribute to Catholic Social Services or the American Red Cross.
Vigil for the Deceased will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated to honor Helen's life at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Friday with Father Thomas Cronkleton Jr. and Monsignor William Delaney con - celebrating.
Interment will be in Olivet Cemetery.
Roland K. Hughes
1927 - 2006
Roland K. "Bud" Hughes, 79, died Dec. 11 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Hughes was born June 14, 1927, in Garrett, Ind., and had lived in Cheyenne for 45 years.
He served in the U.S. Navy and he was a pharmacist at A.E. Roedel's for 22 years.
Mr. Hughes was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.
He is survived by his companion, Chuck Flood of Cheyenne; a daughter, Nicolette Leiby of Cheyenne; and two aunts and an uncle, Charles "Bob" and Anna Elson of Indianapolis and Sarah Beyer of New Orleans.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Wiederspahn - Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Honor Guard.
Pallbearers will be the American Legion Honor Guard.
Friends may contribute to a charity of choice.
Richard L. Nelson
1931 - 2006
Richard L. Nelson, 75, of Cheyenne died Dec. 11 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cheyenne.
He was born Sept. 20, 1931, in Bridgeport, Neb.
Mr. Nelson was a truck driver.
He married Theresa Krajewski on July 1, 1950, in LaCrosse, Wis.
Mr. Nelson was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Korea. He was a member of the Protestant Church.
He is survived by two sons, Larry R. Nelson of Jonesboro, Tenn., and Ricky A. Nelson of Livingston, Mont; a daughter, Paula J. Ray of Cheyenne; a brother, Gene Oderkirk of Quartzsite, Ariz.; a sister, Sharon Williams of Denver; and six grandchildren.
Mr. Nelson was preceded in death by his wife; and a sister, Shirley Tompkins.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver - Staging Area C.

Freeda Cooper
1914 - 2006
Freeda Cooper, 92, of Cheyenne died Dec. 10 at Mountain Towers Healthcare.
Mrs. Cooper was born Jan. 22, 1914, in Mill Creek, Mo., and had lived here since 1942.
She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.
Mrs. Cooper is survived by two sons, Lester A. "Les" Cooper of Cheyenne and James L. "Jim" Cooper of Soda Springs, Idaho; two sisters, Susy Ingram and Maxine Pruett, both of Denver; four grandchildren; and six great - grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Cooper on June 27, 1977; her parents, Elva and Annie Pruett; and two grandchildren.
Private family services will be held.
Friends may contribute to the American Diabetes Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wiederspahn - Radomsky Chapel.
Richard J. Ingersoll
1960 - 2006
Richard Joseph Ingersoll, 45, of Cheyenne died Dec. 12 in Cheyenne.
He was born Dec. 29, 1960, in Cheyenne and had lived here most of his life.
Mr. Ingersoll was an estimator and part owner for Advanced Air Systems.
He was a member of Rough Rider 4 - H Club and a Laramie County Fair superintendent.
Mr. Ingersoll is survived by two daughters, Chelsea Ingersoll and Sandra Ingersoll, both of Cheyenne; three brothers, Robert Ingersoll of Adrian, Mich., Michael Ingersoll of Glenwood Springs, Colo., and Charles Ingersoll of Cheyenne; and four sisters, Mary Ann McKinney of Tecumseh, Mich., Patricia Collins of Amery, Wis., and Dianne Robinson and Theresa Mergard, both of Cheyenne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Ingersoll; a brother, John Ingersoll; a sister, Ann; and a niece.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Wiederspahn - Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes with the Rev. Delbert Hansen officiating.
Interment will be in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Ingersoll, Zachary Ingersoll, James Croghan, Harmony Ingersoll, Azure Ingersoll and Erik Ingersoll.
Honorary pallbearers will be all his nieces and nephews.
