Rubye T. McNutt
1909 - 2006
Rubye T. McNutt, 96, died Nov. 15 at the Mitchell Care Center in Mitchell, Neb.
She was born Dec. 3, 1909, in Pottsville, Ark., to Stephen Lafayette and Leanore Berry.
Mrs. McNutt was a prior resident of Cheyenne.
She was the youngest of nine children.
Mrs. McNutt married Arless Aubrey McNutt on Sept. 4, 1927, in Tulsa, Okla. They had six children.
She is survived by three sons, Jim McNutt of Cheyenne, Jerry McNutt of Chula Vista, Calif., and Jon McNutt of Aurora, Colo.; 28 grandchildren; 53 great - grandchildren; and 34 great - great grandchildren.
Mrs. McNutt was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Aubrey Dean McNutt; two daughters, Ida Lee Larsen and Patsy Tull; and all of her brothers and sisters.
Private family services will be held under the direction of Wiederspahn - Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
Stephen C. Schneider
1943 - 2006
Stephen C. Schneider, 63, of Cheyenne died Tuesday at the Davis Hospice Center.
Mr. Schneider was born Oct. 5, 1943, in Enid, Okla., and had lived here for the past four years.
He was employed by the City of Cheyenne and was a member of the Maranatha Volunteer International.
He is survived by his companion, Sandra Gabel; a brother, Ranger Schneider; and a sister, Janice Vartanian.
Mr. Schneider was preceded in death by his parents, Emanuel and Geraldine Schneider.
Friends may send contributions in his name to the Davis Hospice Center.

Travis R. Faulkner
1982 - 2006
Travis Ryan Faulkner, 24, of Cheyenne lost his life Nov. 15 in an automobile accident.
He was born Sept. 4, 1982, in Evanston.
Travis was educated in the Cheyenne school system, and was a talented artist and an "amazing" guitar player. He will be sorely missed by family and friends.
Mr. Faulkner is survived by his mother and step - father, Ginger and Jim Hatten of Cheyenne; his father and step - mother, Sam and Cindy Faulkner of Vancouver, Wash.; a brother, Christopher Faulkner; two step - brothers, Erik Hatten and Lucas Hatten; a half - sister, Ashley Faulkner; grandparents, Virginia Phillippi, Joe Chasteen and Darlene Faulkner, all of Cheyenne; two uncles, Jeffrey Phillippi and Wayne Faulkner; and an aunt, Charley Robertson.
Travis was preceded in death by an uncle, John Phillippi; a great - grandmother, Virginia Cole Trenholm; and two grandfathers, Jack Phillippi and Samuel Faulkner.
He leaves behind a multitude of friends, a loving family and his beloved cats, Ted and Carcus.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wiederspahn - Radomsky Chapel with the Rev. Nadine Korhonen officiating.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens. Interment will be at a later time.
Friends may contribute to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter.
Gene M. Johnson
1929 - 2006
Gene Marie Johnson, 77, of Cheyenne died Nov. 16 in Cheyenne.
Mrs. Johnson was born Jan. 11, 1929, in Afton.
She was a manager at Mountain Bell.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America, American Legion Auxiliary in LaBarge and American Association of Retired Persons.
She was survived by her sons, Gary Johnson of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Steve Johnson of Aurora, Colo.; daughters, Teri Johnson and Karen Johnson, both of Cheyenne; a sister, Bunny Hacklin of Pine Haven; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great - grandchildren.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather; and three brothers, Doyle Hale, Jerry Hale and Carl Hale.
The funeral is 2 p.m. today at Schrader Chapel with the Rev. Roger W. Rapp officiating.
Burial will be in Beth El Cemetery.

Lois H. Alford

Lois Hanley Alford, 87, of Cheyenne died Nov. 17 in Jacksonville, N.C.
She was born March 29, 1919.
She is survived by a son, Samuel Patrick "Pat" Alford of Jacksonville; a brother, Clay Hanley of Arkansas; a sister, Syb Frizzell of Arkansas; three grandchildren; and six great - grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Homer Alford; and her parents, Samuel Alpus and Fanny Langston Hanley.

Pam Musser
1951 - 2006
Pam Musser, 55, of Cheyenne died Nov. 28 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 20, 1951, in Picayune, Miss., and had lived here for 42 years.
Mrs. Musser is survived by her husband, Gary A. Musser, whom she married Aug. 25, 1988, in Cheyenne; two sons and a daughter - in - law, Scott L. and Melissa Goins and Jeffrey L. Goins and his significant other, Chandra J. Hedger, and all of Cheyenne; four grandchildren, Johnethen Goins, Rayne Goins, Parris Goins and Jeffrey L. Goins II; one sister, Lanelle Ramshur of Bogalusa, La.; and one aunt, Janice Lewis of Cheyenne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lt. Col. L. F. “Casey” and Wilda Z. Reid.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Rugged Cross Chapel in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Robert Garrard officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Blackwell, Ryan Trimble, Brady McIlquham and Jason Fitzgerald.

Cleveland Harper
1927 - 2006
Cleveland Harper, 79, of Carpenter died Nov. 29 in Carpenter.
He was born Oct. 22, 1927, in Sunny South, Ala.
Mr. Harper was retired from the United States Army.
He married Zandra Ann Carter on Dec. 31, 1984, in Oakland, Calif.
Mr. Harper is survived by his wife, Zandra Harper of Carpenter; a daughter, Zara Denise of Carpenter; a brother, Dennis Harper of Alabama.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Lee Harper.
Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Schrader Funeral Home.
Private graveside services will be held.
