Brady Allen Miller - 11/15/02
Family graveside services for Brady Allen Miller were at 12:30 p.m. today with the Rev. Gordon Harper of Vineyard Christian Fellowship officiating.
Brady was born and died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, at Campbell County Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his mother Roxanne Miller; four brothers, Bryan Miller, Brandon Miller, Brett Miller and Bradley Miller; two sisters, Brittany Miller and Brooke Miller; and his grandparents, Lee and Judy Rennicks, all of Gillette.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
R.M. "Mac" McFarlin - 07/05/01
Former Gillette resident R.M. "Mac" McFarlin of Booneville, Ark., died Saturday, June 23, 2001, of medical complications after a long illness. He was 64.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. July 19 at Gillette City Park, followed by a get-together at Jake's Tavern for friends and family.
Mr. McFarlin was retired from Getter Trucking Co.
Mr. McFarlin is survived by his wife, Vivian McFarlin; his daughter, Stacy Germann of Gillette; his sons, Glen McFarlin of Gillette and Tracy McFarlin of Chandler, Ariz.; his sister, Peggy Howell of Jasper, Ark.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian McFarlin.
Martha Pavola - 08/16/01
Funeral services for Martha Jean Pavola, 77 will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church in Moorcroft with the Rev. Mary Jo Koehler as officiant. Eastern Star rites will be conducted by the Upton chapter #32.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Upton.
Mrs. Pavola, 77, of Moorcroft died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2001, at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of natural causes.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Fidler-Roberts Funeral Chapel in Sundance and one hour before the services on Friday.
She was born Dec. 26, 1923, to Arlie and Verna (Douglas) Satterfield, in Sheridan. She was raised in Upton and graduated in 1941 from Upton Senior High School. She attended college at Denver, receiving her degree in teaching. She returned to Upton, where she taught English, typing, shorthand and penmanship at Upton Senior High School.
She married Roy K. Kimsey in 1944. The couple moved west of Upton on the Kimsey Ranch where she raised the couple's four children. She moved to Moorcroft, where she owned and operated a small business from 1962-69.
In 1967, she married Reno John Pavola in Gillette. Mrs. Pavola returned to school to learn computers. She then applied her skills and worked for several years as a secretary.
She belonged to the First Presbyterian Church in Moorcroft, where she helped minister the homebound for many years. She was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 32 of Moorcroft, where she enjoyed making doilies for the new members.
She was second in state at Casper in T.O.P.S.vShe enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and tatting.
She is survived by her husband Reno Pavola of Moorcroft; two sons, Francis Kimsey of Worland and Dave Kimsey of Tonopah, Nev.; one daughter, Virginia Kimsey of Sarye, Okla.; two brothers, Willard Satterfield of Buffalo and Claude Satterfield of New Orleans; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two nephews, and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Robert Kimsey.
A memorial has been established at the Union State Bank in Upton, in Martha's name for Parkinson's disease research .
Jennie Weimer - 11/2/01
Funeral services for Jennie Mae Weimer, 79, of Sturgis, S.D., the mother of a Gillette woman, will be Monday at the Grace Lutheran Church in Sturgis with the Rev. James Olson officiating.
Burial will follow at the Bear Butte Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until 9 p.m. Sunday at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis and one hour before the service at the church.
Mrs. Weimer died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2001, at the Rapid City Regional Hospital of natural causes.
Mrs. Weimer was born July 29, 1922, to John and Daisy (Sterling) Brink.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters, including Sandra Kost of Gillette; a son; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, two brothers, and a sister.
Memorials have been established to the Meade County Senior Center and the Grace Lutheran Church.
Lawrence Kuntz - 12/23/01
Lawrence "Larry" Kuntz, 65, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Gillette of natural causes. Funeral arrangements are pending with Wilson Funeral Home.
Sharon Willbanks - 02/13/02
Sharon Darlene Willbanks, 62, of Gillette died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at Campbell County Memorial Hospital.
The cause of death has not yet been determined, according to coronor Tom Eekoff.
At her request, no services have been scheduled.
She was born Feb. 5, 1940, in Paris, Ill., to Twain and Dedra (Forsythe) Wagoner. She grew up and attended school in Redlands, Calif.
Later she moved to Tucson, Ariz., where she married Ronald Willbanks. They lived there for five years and began a family.
They moved to Gillette where she worked and raised her family.
She enjoyed sewing, painting and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Willbanks is survived by her husband of Gillette; sons, Jason Willbanks of Gillette, Ronnie Willbanks of Spearfish S.D., Greg Kendal of San Francisco, Calif., Michael Kendal of Sicily, Italy; her daughter, Stephanie Bruce of Columbia, S.C.; her sister Vi Goodwin of California; and brother Robert Wagoner of Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carol Ann.
