RAMSEY — Ruth Diane Migner, 50, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at her home following a short illness.
Born Dec. 3, 1955, in Ohio, she was a daughter of the late David Alexander Sr. and Maude Iline Bragg Smith.
She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include a daughter, Effie Iline Horrocks of Hico; three sons, Joseph Lee Smith of Danese, Arnold Lee Migner Jr. of Charleston and Oliver Lee Migner of Ohio; five sisters, Janice Johnson of Pax, Mary Alice Cole of Loveland, Ohio, Nancy Cole of Batavia, Ohio, Brenda Ellis of Owensville, Ohio, and Martha Robertson of Chehalis, Wash.; two brothers, James Bragg of Williamsburg, Ohio, and Johnny Smith of Meadow Bridge; five grandchildren, Natosha Smith, Haylee Smith, Taylor Smith, Heidi Horrocks and Makayla Pauley; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Wallace and Wallace Chapel, Rainelle, with the Rev. Steve Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Campbell’s cemetery, Landisburg, beside her brother, David “Bimbo” Smith Jr.

TAMPA, Fla. — Juanita Dare Morgan, 68, formerly of Organ Cave, passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2005.

Don Albert “Goode” Morris, 65, of Beckley, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2005, at Appalachian Regional Hospital after a short illness.
He was born May 15, 1940, in Sprague, the son of the late James Pruden and Anna Mae Morris.
He was a member of Welcome Baptist Church.
Mr. Morris was preceded in death by an aunt, Mary Goode.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Mae Saunders Morris; three children, Don “Donny” Morris Jr. and companion, Kelli, of Beckley, Lucretia Harbison and husband, Michael, of Marietta, Ga., and Sherene Morris of Beckley; two brothers, Tommy Smith of East Orange, N.J., and Robbie Smith and wife, Anna, of East Orange; three grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Taylor and husband, Walter, of Hillside, N.J., Martha Boyce and husband, Donald, of Newark, N.J., and Connie Smith of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a host of nieces and nephews; a special friend, Billy Whitehead; and other relatives and friends.

PAX — Delana J. “Dee” Williams, 56, of Pax, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness.
She was born June 29, 1949 in Morton, the daughter of the late Elmer L. and Agnes Wriston Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of Willis Branch Community Church.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Williams, and a sister, Alfreda Warwick.
She is survived by three brothers, Robert Williams and wife, Dollie, of Dearborn, Mich., Lawrence Ray Williams and wife, Barbara, of Wirtland, Ky., and Wayne Williams and wife, Leigh, of Taylor, Mich.; five sisters, Louanna Dicken of Mount Hope, Brenda Reese and husband, Billy, of Oak Hill and Carol Dotson, Roberta Stover and Mereda Williams, all of Pax; two special friends, Ruth Williams and Joann Wilson, both of Mount Hope; a loving uncle, Ordie (Evelyn) Wriston of Dearborn; and several nieces and nephews, and a large extended family.

Donald ‘Tink’ Geary Wilson I
OAK HILL — Donald “Tink” Geary Wilson I, 63, of Oak Hill, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, at home following a short illness.
Born July 1, 1942, at Kincaid, he was the son of the late Donald D. and Hazel B. Davis Wilson.
He was a retired sergeant 1st class from the U.S. Army with 27 years service. He was the recipient of two Bronze Stars, two Purple Hearts and numerous other decorations.
Mr. Wilson attended Gospel Tabernacle in Oak Hill and was a graduate of WVU Tech, Montgomery.
His wife, Sally Hammondtree Wilson, a brother, Richard “Babe” Wilson, and a sister, Faye Hammer, preceded him in death.
Survivors include sons, Donald G. Wilson II and Michael Wilson, both of Oak Hill; two daughters, Kimberly D. Wilson and Claudia C. “Jane” Wilson, both of Oak Hill; three brothers, Dale Wilson of Washington and Francis “Buster” Wilson and Mike Wilson, both of Oak Hill; three sisters, Sue Aliff and Linda Sharpe, both of Oak Hill, and Joyce Pauley of Florida; three grandchildren, Chaston Wilson, Ian Rakes and Ava Wilson; and many, many great friends.

SOUTH DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Gregory Sean Boone, 25, of South Daytona Beach, formerly of Frankford and Maxwelton, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2005, in Daytona Beach of injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
He was a graduate of Greenbrier East High School and Motorcycle Mechanics Institute of Orlando, Fla., and was employed as a motorcycle technician by Jim Walker Honda Suzuki of Daytona Beach.

LINDSIDE — Adrian L. Broyles, 92, of Lindside, passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, at Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital, Pearisburg, Va.
Born May 17, 1913, at Lindside, he was the son of the late Edgar and Bertha Smith Broyles.
Mr. Broyles was a farmer and retired employee of Celanese Corp., Narrows, Va. He was a member of Spruce Run Church of the Brethren at Lindside, and a former member of IOOF Lodge No. 362, Lindside.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Broyles was preceded in death by three brothers, Arnold, Kermit and Howard Broyles.
Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Evelyn Ferguson Broyles; a son, Eddie Broyles; a daughter, Patricia Harper and husband, Barry; and a brother, William S. Broyles and wife, “Tennie,” all of Lindside; two grandchildren, Steve Coulter and wife, Tammy, of Charlotte, N.C., and Cathy Martin and husband, Phillip, of Goode, Va.; and five great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Cody, Isaac, Anna Beth and Cameron.

Roy Ned Cook
BRENTON — Roy Ned Cook, 73, of Brenton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, in Princeton Community Hospital following a long illness.
Born April 2, 1932, in Wyoming County, he was the son of the late Roy Wayne and Mollie Virginia Miller Cook.
Mr. Cook was a member of Cooper Memorial Baptist Church. He loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He also enjoyed talking on his CB radio, but most of all he enjoyed being with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, James P. “Buddy” Cook and Freddie I. Cook.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Marie Bilbrey Cook; a son, Earl Cook and wife, Sherry, of Skin Fork; two daughters, Mary Dunn and husband, Roger, of Skin Fork and Sheila Francis and husband, Tim, of Glen Fork; a brother, George W. Cook and wife, Helen, of Skin Fork; 12 grandchildren, Vince Smith, Rebecca Smith Brown, Toni Cook Purdom, Bo Taylor, Cristie Cook, Amber Francis May, Ashley Francis, Amelia Francis, Caleb Francis, Lisa Cook and Zachariah Cook; and 15 great-grandchildren, Alex Smith, Allie Smith, James Curtis Cook, Justin Cuevas, Tiana Cuevas, Paige Purdom, Amanda Purdom, Brianna Purdom, Gabriel May, Brittany Cook, Daniel Justus, Sarah Justus, D.J. Justus, Randy Brown and Katelyn Taylor.
