PONTIAC, Mich. — James Henry Facello died Jan. 14, 2007, at 75 years of age.
He was the loving husband of Anna for 51 years; dear father of Mariel (Russell) Broadwater, Clara Facello, Marcia (Jim) Saul and James Facello Jr.; beloved brother of Frank, Charles, Wayne, Johnny, Roger and Bobby Facello, Phyllis Kinder and Joanne Mira; and treasured grandfather of Raina, Elise, Natalie and Paige.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Ernest, Ron and Kenneth Facello, and a sister, Clara Facello.
Jim worked at Stanley Works for over 35 years retiring in 1993. He loved to hunt and garden. Jim was an active member at Marimont Community Church.
Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, at Marimont Community Church, 424 W. Walton Blvd., Pontiac, with Pastor Michael Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in Perry Mountain Park cemetery, Pontiac.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Coats Funeral Home, Waterford, Mich. and after 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church.

Thomas Franklin Farrell Sr.
SALEM, Va. — Thomas Franklin Farrell Sr., 67, of Salem, passed away Monday, Jan. 15, 2007.
He was born Dec. 6, 1939, in Montgomery, a son of the late William P. and Mary Elizabeth Johnson Farrell.
Mr. Farrell was a retired business owner, a graduate of Georgia Tech, of the Catholic Faith and was a member of the Penguin Club. He was also a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Hinton Elks Lodge, the Georgia Tech Alumni Club and was a charter member of the Hinton Football Hall of Fame.
He is survived by his son, Thomas Franklin Farrell Jr.; a daughter, Katherine Farrell Bates and husband, Carl Martin Bates; two brothers, Mickey Farrell and wife, Janice, and William Peyton Farrell II and wife, Cristy; a sister, Ann Farrell Bowers and husband, Victor; three grandchildren, Brian Thomas Bates, Hannah Nicole Farrell and Thomas Franklin Farrell, III; and a number of loving nieces and nephews.
Service will be 4 p.m. Friday at the Chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, 305 Boulevard, Salem. Private interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour before service at the funeral home.

Gary Layne Hostetter
OAK HILL — Gary Layne Hostetter, 63, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007, at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill.
Born Dec. 30, 1943, at Oak Hill, he was the son of the late Phillip Reese and Effie Mildred Lee Hostetter.
He was a disabled nuclear quality assurance inspector.
Gary was a graduate of the Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Okla., and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Wayne Hostetter.
Survivors include three daughters, Terri Dahlgren of Aiken, S.C., Traci Hostetter of Seaford, Del., and Toni Hostetter of Key West, Fla.; his ex-wife and caregiver, Judith Cramer of Lincoln, Del.; four brothers, Phillip Hostetter of Charleston, Alan Hostetter of Columbus, Ohio, Rodney Hostetter of Oak Hill and Gerald Hostetter of Scarbro; a sister, Sylvia Hager of Ironton, Ohio; grandson, Jeffrey Joseph Hostetter of Lincoln, Del.; a nephew; and five nieces.
Service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with the Rev. Jackie Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill, with military graveside rites by VFW Post No. 3110.

Frederick William Jackson
Frederick William Jackson was born Feb. 15, 1920, in Bluefield to the late Bolden and Vicie Jackson. He departed this life on Jan. 12, 2007.
Fred graduated from Stratton High School in 1939. He was inducted into the U.S. Army in 1941 and served honorably in World War II.
Fred was a licensed funeral director and worked for many years with his father at Jackson and Son’s Funeral Home. He was also employed at other funeral homes in the Beckley area.
Fred was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was a member of American Legion Post 70. He was a Mason with Mason Lodge No. 27.
Fred was a devoted husband and father.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Andrea Nance; a son, Frederick James Jackson; a grandson, Jason Forest Jackson; two brothers, Lamar and Robert Jackson; and a sister, Barbara J. Jackson Majors.
He is survived by his wife, Annia Smoot Jackson; a son, Frederick W. Jackson Jr. of Paterson, N.J.; five daughters, Barbara Taylor of Brooklyn, N.Y., Cecilia Jackson of Columbia, Md., Revella Story of Brooklyn, Margaret Jackson of Charlotte, N.C., and Rosetta Jackson of Beckley; a sister, Olymphia Jackson of Orlando, Fla.; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Heart of God Ministries, 1703 S. Kanawha St., Beckley, with Bishop Fred T. Simms officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley.

HUNTINGTON — Ann Frances Justus-Saleh, 41, of Huntington, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Seth Andrew Justus, 7, of Huntington, died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, in Huntington.
Ann was born Nov. 14, 1965, in Prince George County, Md., daughter of Kenneth C. Goodson Sr. and Mary F. Boothe Ellison.
She was a store manager and of the Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her son, Seth Andrew Justus.
Seth was born Oct. 12, 1999, in Beckley, a son of Ronnie England and Frances Justus-Saleh.
Seth was a student and of the Christian faith.
He was survived by his mother, Ann Frances Justus-Saleh; three sisters, M.A. Danielle Justus, Ashley Justus and Holly Goodson; four aunts, Teresa Peters, Deborah Craft, Rachel Goodson and Melissa Goodson; three uncles, Kenneth Goodson Sr., Michael Goodson and Sonny Craft; his grandparents, Mary Ellison and Kenneth Goodson Jr.; and step grandmother, Drema Goodson.
Survivors of Ann include three daughters, M.A. Danielle Justus, Ashley Justus and Holly Goodson; two sisters, Teresa Peters and Deborah Craft; two brothers, Kenneth Goodson Jr. and Michael Goodson; two grandsons; two nephews; and two nieces.

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Beulah M. Meadows, 82, of Independence, formerly of Indian Mills, died Monday Jan. 15, 2007, at her home.
Born Dec. 19, 1924, at Crumps Bottom, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Molly Caperton Young.
Ms. Meadows was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She had lived most of her life in Independence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Armond Meadows, on July 23, 2000.
She was also preceded by five brothers, James, Earl, Jeff, Gene and William Kellice Young; and three sisters, Orpha Lee Brannon, Christy Young and Alice Young.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas R. Meadows and wife, Nora, of Independence and Ronald L. Meadows and wife, Brenda, of Narrows, Va.; a brother, Howard Young of Buckner, Mo.; two sisters, Katherine Willey of Hinton and Francis Ellison of Independence; seven grandchildren, Jesse Meadows, Molly Kudart, Kelly Ogan, Rex Essig, Kcee Meadows, Veronica Stump and Ellen Hawks; and 14 great-grandchildren also survive.
