Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, Gilbert. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Juanita Moore

Juanita Moore, 76, of 114 I St., Beckley, died Monday, June 27, 2006, at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley.

Arrangements entrusted to Ritchie and Johnson Funeral Parlor, Beckley.

Frank W. Pisegna

MALDEN — Frank W. Pisegna, 72, of Malden, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 26, 2006, at Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Hospital, after a long illness.

Frank was born in Beckley on Aug. 17, 1934. He was a retired from the West Virginia Department of Education, Administration of School Finances, director of civil cefense, coordinator — disaster for the state of West Virginia and U.S. Office of Education and HUD for the Southeast; attended Woodrow Wilson High School, Beckley, and graduated from the former Morris Harvey College, Charleston. Frank was a member and past Master of Salina Lodge No. 27 AF & AM; a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies and was the past local chairman of the De Molay. He was also involved in various other community and public organizations. He was a member of the former Main Street Church of God, now known as Southridge Church of God.

Surviving is his wife, Janetta Cole Pisegna; daughter, Beverly Fulmer of St. Albans; son, Frank W. Pisegna II of Malden; and grandchildren, Erin and Lauren Fulmer and Frank W. Pisegna III.

Private family service will be 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, with the Rev. David Bowen officiating. Burial will follow with Masonic rites.

There will be no visitation.

Maycle O. Adkins Payne Triebenbach

Maycle O. Adkins Payne Triebenbach, 85, of Cool Ridge, died at 10:44 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2006, in Raleigh General Hospital at Beckley following a short illness.

Born March 8, 1921, at New River Road, Raleigh County, she was a daughter of the late Silas A. and Lottie Belle Bennett Adkins.

She had lived most of her life in Raleigh County and was a former employee of Beckley Manufacturing and the Raleigh County Board of Education and a member of Mount Olivet Church at Hinton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Watts Payne.

Survivors include two daughters, Glenna Hammack and husband, Michael, of Lynchburg, Va., and Shirley Perkins and husband, Russell, of Crab Orchard; five grandchildren, Cheryl Mercadante and husband, Michael, of Eccles, Phillip Shelton of Tennessee, Stephen Perkins and wife, Amanda, of Flagstaff, Ariz., Brian Per-kins of Blacksburg, Va., and Jennifer Thomas and husband, Leon, of Bradenton, Fla.; three great-grandchildren; five sisters, May Woods of Meadow Creek, Elva Boinoyvich of Elkton, Md., Listina Harvey of White Oak, Lena Meadows of Shady Spring and Grace Meadows of Shady Spring; and a brother, Rossy “Ross” Adkins of Elkton.

Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel, Hinton, with Pastor William Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Silas Adkins Family cemetery.

Friends may call 11 a.m. until time of service Thursday.

Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Daisy E. Ward

Daisy E. Ward, 85, of Beckley, died Monday, June 26, 2006, at Raleigh General Hospital following a long illness.

Born Feb. 22, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Millard Hawkins and Merle Ward Hawkins.

Mrs. Ward was a homemaker. She was of the Methodist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Ward.

Survivors include a son, Gary Ward and fiancé, Sandy, of Beckley.

Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel, Beckley, with the Rev. Allen Copenhaver officiating. Burial will follow in Hot Coal cemetery, Sophia.

Friends may call one hour before service Thursday at the funeral home.

Friends will serve as pallbearers.

William Edgar Coy

ROBSON — William Edgar Coy, 58, of Robson, formerly of Scarbro, passed away Nov. 16, 2005, at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill, following a short illness.

He was born Dec. 28, 1946, at Runa, the son of Emogene P. Johns Coy of Scarbro, and the late Joseph M. Coy.

Mr. Coy was director of social services for Pinecrest Hospital with 24 years of service. He attended Robson Freewill Baptist Church and graduated from West Virginia State at Institute.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, James Hornsby.

Survivors include a daughter, Andria Beth Coy of Robson; two stepsons, Steve Raynes and his wife, Amy, and family of Page, Kenny Raynes and his wife, Carla, of Mossy; three brothers, Robert W. Johns and wife, Carol, of Fairmont, Gary Joseph Coy of Scarbro, and Darrell R. Coy and wife, Shirley, of Scarbro; three sisters, Dolly Hornsby of Scarbro, Kay Turner and husband, Dennis, of Scarbro, Tabitha Coy of Beckley; his ex-wife, Sue Coy of Robson; father and mother-in-law, Richard and Frances Settle of Robson; two sisters-in-law, Debra Braenovich and husband, Stanley, of Robson, and Laura Lilly of Robson; five grandchildren and several nephews, nieces and cousins. His attendants were his nephew, Josh Hornsby, and his friend, Chuck Ragnow.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with the Rev. Orville Syner officiating.

Visitation is 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19.

Mary Morgan Gibson Detch

LEWISBURG — Mary Morgan Gibson Detch, 87, of Lewisburg passed away Nov. 7, 2005.

Born Sept. 5, 1918, in Stinson (Calhoun County), she was the daughter of Morgan Burl Morgan and Eliza Richardson Morgan Hughes. She was an eighth direct descendant of Col. Morgan Morgan, the first white settler in West Virginia.

Mrs. Detch was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Vernon Gibson, in 1972; her second husband, John L. Detch, in 1997; two brothers, R. Frederick Hughes and George V. Morgan; and a nephew, Donald Morgan.

She graduated from Gassaway High School at the age of 16 and began working for the Braxton County Board of Education. Mrs. Detch received her shorthand court reporting training in Washington, D.C. In 1952, she began her career as a shorthand court reporter for Judge Nickell Kramer in the 11th Circuit Court, where she worked for 38 years.

Mrs. Detch was a member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church and the West Virginia Court Reporters Association.

Surviving Mrs. Detch are her beloved sister, Betty Hughes Hall of St. Albans; a son, John Morgan Gibson and his wife, Edith, of Williamsburg; two daughters, Nancy Jo Hansen and her husband, Bruce, of Orange, Conn., and Ellen Gibson Goodwin and her husband, Stephen, of Mt. Alto; seven grandchildren, John M. Gibson II (Kathy) of Lewisburg, Michael S. Gibson (Jennifer) of Crab Orchard, Caroline Hansen Wilson (Jeffrey) of Orange, Conn., Christopher M. Hansen of Port Jefferson, N.Y., Alyssa Goodwin Gregg (Patrick) of Morgantown, Carte P. Goodwin (Rochelle) of Charleston, and T. Ryan Goodwin II (Aimee) of Trenton, Ill.; six great-grandchildren, Morgan and Dillon Gibson, Henry Tilley, Jack and Megan Gibson, Wesley Goodwin; and several nieces and nephews.

Also surviving are four stepchildren and their families, J. Lewis Detch (Julie) of Annapolis, Md., Charlotte D. Deitz (Rick) of Roanoke, Paul S. Detch (Barbara) of Lewisburg, and Ethel Detch (Steve Rogers) of Franklin, Tenn.; and 12 stepgrandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church, 214 Washington St., from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20.

A memorial service will be held at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, with the Rev. Dr. Joseph S. Kenaston officiating.

Mrs. Detch donated her body to the Human Gift Registry at West Virginia University.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectively requests that memorial gifts be made to the Lewisburg United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 69, Lewisburg, WV 24901; Carnegie Hall, 105 Church St., Lewisburg, WV 24901; or the WVU College of Law, P.O. Box 6130, Morgantown, WV 26506-6130.

Elmer Clyde Graham

Elmer Clyde Graham of Camp Creek passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, at St. Mary’s Hospital after a short illness.

Mr. Graham was born on Feb. 10, 1912, at Egeria, W.Va., the son of the late Charles Graham and the late Josie Wood Graham Kritzer.

He was a member of the Mt. Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for a major coal company and a member of the UMWA.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen L. Graham; a daughter, Margaret Cline; a brother, Charles O. Graham; a sister, Vera Redden; and a stepdaughter, Mary Jane Sepella.

Survivors include a son, Elmer C. Graham Jr. and wife, Robin, of Gahanna, Ohio; daughters, Lena Trent, and Josie Merritt, both of Huntington; a stepdaughter, Helena Varney and husband, Monroe, of Alexandria, Va.; a sister, Mary Tangalos, of Jamestown, N.Y.; 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Rose and Quesenberry Shady Spring Chapel with the Rev. Clayton Lilly officiating. Burial will follow at Dunns cemetery, Dunns.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Sue Hughart

Sue Hughart (nee Dodd), 58, of Wellington, Ohio, formerly of Strongsville, Ohio, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, in Parma Community General Hospital in Parma, Ohio, of complications from breast cancer.

Born Jan. 11, 1947, in West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late James A. Dodd and the late Mary P. (nee Mann) Dodd.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wellington, Ohio, and enjoyed quilting, all crafts, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Sue, and a sister, Patricia Young.

Survivors include her husband for 40 years, Robert; three daughters, Robert Helzer of North Ridgeville, Ohio, Sherri Polhemus of Las Vegas, Nev., and Tracey Hughart of Lorain, Ohio; three sisters, Juanita Davis of Fredericksburg, Va., Mary Rogers of Pasadena, Md., and Dianna Hart of Beckley, W.Va.; two brothers, William Dodd of Elwood, Ind., and John Dodd of Nashville, Tenn.

Funeral services will be today at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of 125 Grand Ave., Wellington, Ohio, with Pastor Tom Alexander officiating and friends calling at the church one hour prior to services. Entombment services will follow this evening at 6 p.m. at Wallace Mausoleum, Clintonville, W.Va.

Dewey Addison Kimberlin

Dewey Addison Kimberlin, 69, of Coal City, formerly of Odd, and Greenfield, Ind., went to his mansion in heaven at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 14, 2005, after a long illness.

Born March 3, 1936, in Rocky Gap, Va., he was the son of the late George Lessie and Ethel Wolfe Kimberlin.

Dewey was retired from Suburban Products of Greenfield, Ind. He was a member of Sunset Hills Missionary Baptist Church of Coal City and a deacon of Mt. Valley Baptist Church in Odd.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Dewey Addison Jr. and Charles Daniel; and a great-grandson, Jimmie Watson III.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Lois Johnston Kimberlin of Coal City; a daughter, Joanna Watson of Odd; brothers, Bob Kimberlin of Columbus, Ind., George Kimberlin of Burkes Garden, Va., Jack Kimberlin of Crozet, Va., Arlice Kimberlin of Greenfield, Ind.; sisters, Dorothy Foist of Beech Grove, Ind., Joy Carlson of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Ilene Lambert of Greenfield, Ind.; daughter-in-law, Melvina Kimberlin of Greenfield, Ind.; grandchildren, Sharlene Bolen of Rushville, Ind., Jimmie Watson Jr. of Waldron, Ind., Cathie Watson of Odd, Gloria Watson of Odd, Jamie Foley of Rhodell, Jennifer Sargent of Mead, Angel Kimberlin of Indianapolis, Ind., and Heath Kimberlin of Greenfield, Ind.; 20 great-grandchildren and a very special friend and family, Bill and Roberta Ayers.

Service will be today at 3:30 p.m. at Mountain Valley Missionary Baptist Church at Odd with Brother John Ed Lilly of Mt. Valley Church at Odd and Brother Mel Jamison of Sunset Hills Missionary Baptist Church at Coal City officiating. Burial will follow in Kimberlin cemetery at Odd.

Friends may call one hour before the service Friday at the church.
