Pamela Kay Rose
Pamela Kay Rose, 56, of Little Birch, WV went home to be with the Lord on May 6, 2011 at her residence. She was born on Feb 17, 1955 in Webster Co., WV to the late Clarence and Garnett Smith Cutlip.
She was a member of Little Birch Southern Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and granddaughter Alexis Jo Rose.
Pam is survived by her husband Bobby Rose and her children Ordie Rose of Sutton, Jason Rose of Little Birch, Tonny Rose of Summersville, and Carsea Corbitt of Sutton, and Maranda Wilson of Webster Springs, step-son Bobby Dennison of Sutton, her brothers and sisters; Mike and Jerry Cutlip of Sutton, Robert Cutlip of Little Birch, and Jeffrey Cutlip of VA and Sherryl Wayne of Gassaway, 22 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral service will be held at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 11:00am with Rev. Randal Griggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery, Birch River, WV. Friends called at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton on Monday, May 9, 2011 from 6-8pm.

Michael D. Stewart Michael D. Stewart, 72, of Gassaway, died June 26, 2011 at home.
Mike was a carpenter and construction worker. He enjoyed hunting and collecting Sea-Beans which he would make jewelry from.
He was preceded in death by parents Camden and Florence Caplinger Stewart.
Surviving; sons, Rick and Randy; daughter, Michelle; sisters, Diana and John Henley and Susan and Mike Bullock; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends called from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 28 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway.
At Mr. Stewart’s request his body was cremated following the visitation.

Jennifer Lynn Propst Miller

Jennifer Lynn Propst Miller, 40, of Rosedale, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at her parents’ residence, Grantsville, WV.
Jennifer was born January 4, 1971, the daughter of Roger Dale and Loretta Hathaway Propst.
Jennifer graduated from Calhoun County High School with the Class of 1989. She attended WVU-P and later graduated as an LPN from New River Technical College, a subsidiary of Bluefield State College. Her passion for the beauty of nature led to a hobby of photography that later extended to individual and family photographs.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Micky Don Miller, her children: Caden Phillip and Shayla Lynne Arnold, and Colten Gregory Miller. Also, her in-laws, Frank and Carolyn Miller; her sister-in-laws: Molly Miller McLaughlin and Amanda Dye Propst Richards; her three nephews: Kyler Gregory and Mason Todd Propst and Stanley McLaughlin, II. Jen had several special uncles, aunts and cousins, along with numerous friends, who she loved dearly and each held a special place in her heart.
Jennifer greatly loved her children and was their staunchest advocate. Her desire is that her legacy to Caden, Shayla, and Colten be her faith in God, leading them to live committed Christian lives.
Preceding Jennifer in death was her only sibling, her brother, Gregory Allen Propst on May 14, 2000. Other members already home are her paternal grandparents, George James and Edna Ferrell Propst; her maternal grandparents, Orvan “Todd” and Eulanee Stump Hathaway.
Funeral services were held at the Calhoun County Middle/High School auditorium on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Shelly Mace and Rev. Roger Carter officiated. Interment was in the Mt. Zion UMC Cemetery. Visitation was held at the auditorium Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to the service time. Stump Funeral Homes, Inc., Grantsville, WV was in charge of arrangements.
Jennifer ran a good race and fought a brave fight against cancer. She spent her last years sharing her faith, encouraging others to seek God, and assuring her loved ones of her peace and that she was bound for heaven.
Leola Morris
Leola Morris, 98 of Dille, went home to be with the Lord on June 30, 2011 at Summersville Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Herald, WV on February 18, 1913 to the late Curtis Champion and Allie Jane Brown Walker.
Leola was a homemaker and a member of Big Union Baptist Church, Dille.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Farrell Edwin Morris, grandson; Justin David Morris, brothers; Ted, Bailey, Foster, Clyde, Jett Walker.
Leola is survived by her sons; David Morris & wife Ruby of Dille, and Samuel Morris & wife Cindy of Mannington, WV, daughters; Beverly Yoder & husband Atlee of Wooster, Ohio, Mary Gillian and Kay Baughman & husband Carl all of Columbus, Ohio, Wanda Gregg & husband Tom of Dalesville, Va. Also are 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Big Union Baptist Church, Dille, WV with Rev. Danny Richardson officiating. Burial followed in the WalkerCemetery near Birch River, WV. Friends called on Saturday July 2, 2011 from 6-8pm. at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton.

Helen Louise Stout
Helen Louise Conrad Stout, 68 of Burnsville, WV passed away at home on Saturday, July 2, 2011.
She was born on July 19, 1942 in Napier, WV, a daughter of the late Cleve and Isa Conrad. She loved to work in her flower garden, cook and spend time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Conrad.
On August 28, 1959, she married Howard Eugene Stout who survives her. Mrs. Stout is also survived by two sons, Dywayne Stout and his wife Judy of Franklin, WV. Scottie Stout and his wife Lisa of Orlando, WV., three grandchildren, Tyler Stout, Bryan Stout and Katie Stout and one great-grandchild, Harmony. Also surviving are sisters, Avis Conrad, Rose Riffle and her husband Charles all of Orlando, WV. Bessie Brown and her husband Don of Ohio. One brother, Jarvis Conrad and wife Mary of Ivy Dale, WV and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Stockert-Sizemore Funeral Home in Flatwoods, WV with Rev. Delmas Singleton officiating. Burial will be in Stout Cemetery in Flatwoods, WV. Friends called from 6-8:00 PM on Monday, July 4, 2011 at the funeral home and from 9 am to 12 Noon on Tuesday, July 5. Joyce Elaine Howard
Joyce Elaine Howard, 60, of Wooster died Friday July 1, 2011 at her home.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 P.M. Thursday July 7, 2011 at the McIntire, Davis & Greene funeral home 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster, Ohio 44691. The family will receive friends following the service.
She was born October 9, 1950 in Gassaway West Virginia the daughter of Carl Hubert and Waveleen Jarvis Short.
Joyce was a 1968 graduate of Gassaway High School. She retired from the College of Wooster and was an administrative assistant on the Lilly Project. She was very devoted to her family.
Surviving is her husband of 40 years David Howard, of Wooster; Children: Wesley Paul (Ashley) Howard and Monica Grande both of Wooster; Her mother, of Clarksburg WV. A brother; Clayton Short of Cambridge, Ohio; A sister, Nancy Short, of Gassaway WV. Grandchildren: Sydney Grande, Stella and Amelia Howard.

James W. Graham
James W. Graham, 91 of Ocala, Floridadied Sunday June 26, 2011 at Legacy Hospice House in Ocala following a long illness.
Born January 3, 1920 in Philadelphia, Penn. he was the son of the late Archibald Bruce and Ethel May Schaller Graham.
Mr. Graham was a retired rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Ocala. He was a member of Sutton Baptist Church, Sutton, WV.
Survivors include a daughter, Eunice Alford of Ocala, FL
A step-son, Tom Knighton of Dover, OH
Two step-daughters, Pat Evans of Sutton and Sue Baker of Doylestown, OH
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday July 5, 2011 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Mike Sisson officiating. Burial followed in the Richmond Cemetery at Sandstone. Friends called from 10:00 a.m. until service time of Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mary Elizabeth Clay
Mary Elizabeth Clay, 94, of Scott Depot, formerly of Campbells Creek, died Sunday, January 18, 2004, at her residence following a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Clay, son, Bobby Clay, and a grandson, Stevens Skiles.
She was a member of the Teays Valley Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving: daughter, Ruby Ellen Skiles and husband, Archie, with whom she resided; grandchildren, Beverly Crede, Lora Duncan and Bobby Clay Jr.; great-grandchildren, Kristen Crede and Allison Duncan; two great-nieces and a great-nephew, Francis Bowlen, Marjorie Sue Horrocks and Johnny Bowlen, of Beckley; lots of other nieces and nephews.
Service was held Thursday, January 22, 2004, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home Chapel, Malden, with the Rev. Charles Williams and the Rev. Russell Mills officiating. Burial was in Youngers Hollow Cemetery, Campbells Creek.
