BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Charles Douglas McBee, 61, of Berkeley Springs, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 1998, at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital, Berkeley Springs.
Born Oct. 15, 1937, in Jimstown, W.Va., he was the son of the late Charles Alvin and Ella Isabelle Young McBee.
He attended Berkeley Springs High School.
He was a retired miller with U.S. Silica, Berkeley Springs.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves.
He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Berkeley Springs.
He was a member of Mid-Atlantic Koi and raised Japanese koi fish.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judith Ann Penwell McBee; three daughters, Stephanie Lynne Breeden and Lisa Ann McBee, both of Berkeley Springs, and Teresa Richelle Munson of Glendale, Ariz.; two sisters, Eva Lou Hofe of Charles Town, W.Va., and Phyllis Lorraine Cain of Berkeley Springs; five brothers, Kenneth W. McBee, Harold Frank McBee and Paul G. McBee, all of Berkeley Springs, Larry E. McBee of Indian Springs and Walter David McBee of Puyallup, W.Va.; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 401 S. Washington St., Berkeley Springs. The Rev. Stephen J. Cuff will officiate. Burial will be in Greenway cemetery, Berkeley Springs.
The family will receive friends at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 306 Union St., Berkeley Springs, today from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral home will be open today from 2 to 9 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Endowment Fund of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 401 S. Washington St., Berkeley Springs, WV 25411.
Janet W. Hufnagel
BAKERTON, W.Va. - Janet W. Hufnagel, 50, of Bakerton, died Friday, Nov. 13, 1998, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Hufnagel.
She had been a phlebotomist at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson, W.Va.
She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Lynn O'Leary of New Jersey; one son, William F. Hufnagel II of Bakerton; and two grandchildren, Patrick James O'Leary and Chloe Lynn O'Leary.
Memorial services will be Saturday, Nov. 21, at 11 a.m., at Bethesda United Methodist Church, Molers Crossroads, near Shepherdstown, W.Va. Burial will be private.
There will be no visitation.

Josephine L. Sibole
INWOOD, W.Va. - Josephine Lee Sibole, 91, of Inwood, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 1998, at Valley View Nursing Home, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Born Jan. 15, 1907, in Tunkhannock, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John and Eliza Colvin Lee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Sibole.
She graduated from school in Tunkhannock, Pa.
In her earlier years, she worked at Pocono Mountains, Pa. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Inwood United Methodist Church.
She was a member of South Berkeley Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons, David E. Sibole of Shanghai, W.Va., and Paul L. Sibole of Louisville, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Sibole, Michael Sibole, Ronnie Sibole, Stephen Sibole, Mark Sibole, Suzanne Sibole Raber and Mary Beth Sibole Frank; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Lena Bonham; and three brothers, John Lee, Robert Lee and Bryan Lee.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Rosedale Funeral Chapel, 2060 Rosedale Road, Martinsburg, W.Va. Pastor Sheril Merki and the Rev. John Wright will officiate. Burial will be in Gerrardstown Presbyterian Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
Ray B. Widmyer
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Ray Brenton Widmyer, 79, of Berkeley Springs, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 1998, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born Oct. 24, 1919, in Morgan County, he was the son of the late Ernest L. and Daisy Stotler Widmyer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dortha Maxine "Dottie" Fritzman Widmyer, on Jan. 6, 1998.
He was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1969 at the rank of technical sergeant. He served during World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam War.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Berkeley Springs.
He was a member of Junior Order of United American Mechanics Council 117, Alderton-Dawson American Legion Post 60, and Morgan County Chapter 34 DAV, all of Berkeley Springs; AARP; and was a life member of 7th Photo Group Association, 8th Air Force, Mount Farm, England, 1943-1945.
He is survived by one stepdaughter, Ann Schoenadel of Little Orleans, Md.; two stepsons, Carroll Luttrell of Berkeley Springs and Larry Allen Luttrell of Cumberland, Md.; two sisters, Thelma Lewter of College Park, Md., and Helen Perry of Chambersburg, Pa.; three brothers, Harry Widmyer of Venice, Fla., James Hector Widmyer of Winchester, Va., and George Widmyer of Lamahville, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, William Widmyer.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 306 Union St., Berkeley Springs. Pastor Wayne Frum will officiate. Burial will be in Greenway cemetery with military graveside honors by Tri-State Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where the Junior Order will conduct a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. The funeral home will be open today from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
