CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Audrey Bingler Payne, 57, of Sleepy Hollow Estates, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, at her home.
Born June 11, 1941, in Charlottesville, Va., she was the daughter of the late Richard and Emma Durham Bingler.
She was a 1959 graduate of Lane High School in Charlottesville.
She retired from State Farm Insurance Company in Frederick, Md., after 18 years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Brunswick.
She was a member of Sleepy Hollow Golf and Country Club of Charles Town.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Marvin Bernard Payne; two daughters, Lisa A. Payne Fouche' of Brunswick, and Michelle Payne Ryan of Frederick; a brother, Clyde Bingler of Charlottesville; three grandchildren; four nieces and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Marres; and two brothers, Archie Bingler and Russell Bingler.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Rosemont Alliance Church, Brunswick.
A graveside service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Monticello Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, 310 Fairfax Blvd., Charles Town.

Joseph M. O'Neill
CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Joseph Murray O'Neill, 72, of Charles Town, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 1999, at his home.
Born Sept. 1, 1926, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Robert and Mary Murray O'Neill.
He was a graduate of Gonzaga High School in Washington, D.C., where he was an All-Prep Football Player. He was a graduate of Notre Dame University, South Bend, Ind.
He retired from George F. Steel Company in Columbia, Md.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Washington, D.C.; and Blue Army.
He is survived by four daughters, Therese Ricca of Gaithersburg, Md., Mary Hancock of Pendleton, S.C., Jeanne Wagner of Cross Junction, Va., and Anne Cookman of Laurel, Md.; three sons, Joseph O'Neill of Lexington, Ky., George O'Neill of Trabuco Canyon, Calif., and John O'Neill of Virginia; two sisters, Ann Hogan of Potomac, Md., and Kathleen O'Neill of California; three brothers, Gene O'Neill of Bethesda, Md., Robert O'Neill of Bowie, Md., and John O'Neill of Columbia, Md.; and 20 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, George O'Neill and Patrick O'Neill.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at Old St. John's the Evangelist Catholic Church, 9700 Rosensteel Ave., Silver Spring, Md. Father Brian Shoda will be celebrant. Private burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery, Washington, D.C.
There will be no visitation.

Charles S. Hilliard
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Charles S. "Sam" Hilliard, 88, of Martinsburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, at his home.
Born Sept. 5, 1910, in Stanley, Va., he was the son of the late Jacob and Betty Cubbage Hilliard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina I. Gray Hilliard.
He retired from Martin Marietta.
He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Helen R. Dugan of Martinsburg and Joyce A. Braithwaite of Strasburg, Va.; two sons, Douglas Gray Hilliard of Inwood, W.Va., and S. Wayne Hilliard of Kearneysville, W.Va.; a sister, Josie Dillow of Ranson, W.Va.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillie Good and Susan Hemenway; and three brothers, Fred Hilliard, Paul Hilliard and David Hilliard.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Dan Dugan will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Rosetta V. Jacobs
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Rosetta Virginia Jacobs, 91, of Martinsburg, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born June 30, 1907, in Dargan, Md., she was the daughter of the late William and Lora Lavina Johnson Bowers.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Peck; and by her second husband, Paul Jacobs.
She retired from the former Interwoven Mills after more than 38 years.
She was a member of First Church of God.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Etta Peck; two sisters, Loretta Davis and Bessie Sanders; and three brothers, Garland Bowers, Lewis Bowers and Dave Bowers.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Harold O. Snyder will officiate. Burial will be in Edge Hill cemetery, Charles Town, W.Va.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Nicoletta T. Tambascia
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Nicoletta T. Tambascia, 85, of Martinsburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, at Canterbury of Shepherdstown.
Born Nov. 14, 1913, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Teresa Zulli Tambascia.
She was a housekeeper for the priests at St. Joseph Parish.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
She is survived by a brother, Jerry Tambascia of Martinsburg; a niece and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Philomena Tambasica; and two brothers, Louis Tambascia and Victor Tambascia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. John V. DiBacco Jr. will be celebrant. Burial prayers will be in St. Joseph Catholic cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m., at Brown Funeral Home, in Martinsburg, where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
The family will meet at the funeral home Monday at 9:30 a.m.
