MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Carl Andrew Trenum, 55, of Martinsburg, died as the result of a fire on Thursday, March 11, 1999, in Martinsburg .
Born Aug. 23, 1943, in Westernport, Md., he was the son of Bernadine Doman Kurtz of Martinsburg and the late Theodore Trenum.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Linda Lou Collins of Martinsburg; a brother, Douglas Elton Trenum of Tomahawk, W.Va.; a niece and cousins.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Joe Eversole will officiate. Burial will be in Bunker Hill cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Charles N. Loizos
INWOOD, W.Va. - Charles Nicholas "Charlie" Loizos, 74, of Inwood, died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, at his home.
Born Dec. 16, 1924, in Martinsburg, W.Va., he was the son of the late Nicholas and Helen Handakas Loizos.
He was a graduate of Martinsburg High School; and attended Shepherd College and Potomac State College.
He was co-owner of Princess Restaurant in Martinsburg. He retired from the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific.
He was a member of Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church.
He is survived by his wife, Alice "Aleke" Katsambas Loizos; a daughter, Elaine C. Loizos of Inwood; three sons, Nicholas C. Loizos of Inwood, Christopher C. Loizos and Anastasios C. Loizos, both of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; two sisters, Dorothy LaRue of Martinsburg and Frances Hinton of Vancouver, Wash.; four grandchildren; and five nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Sophie Markowitz and Mary Fisher.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Anastasios will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery.

Agnes B. Chamblin
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Agnes Bell Chamblin, 85, of Martinsburg, died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at Heartland of Martinsburg.
Born May 22, 1913, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elsie Reed Watson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John W. Bell; and by her second husband, Herman W. Chamblin.
She was a member of Marlowe Assembly of God Church.
She retired from Jefferson Manufacturing Co.
She is survived by a son, Franklin E. Bell of Martinsburg; two stepdaughters, Emma Jane Slusher of Ranson, W.Va., and Joyce Wilcox of Charles Town, W.Va.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 11 stepgreat-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Louise Barrett will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery.

Nelson E. Bucklew Sr.
ROWLESBURG, W.Va. - Nelson E. Bucklew Sr., 73, of Rowlesburg, died Saturday, March 13, 1999, at his home.
Born Nov. 8, 1925, in Manheim, W.Va., he was the son of the late Floyd and Mildred Plum Bucklew.
He was a machinist for Mack Trucks in Hagerstown.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was a Protestant.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mildred Fraley Bucklew; six daughters, Brenda Bucklew and Wanda Mowen, both of Hagerstown, Cheryll Bucklew and Vicki Bucklew, both of Rowlesburg, Janette Keller and Shirley DeWitt, both of Terra Alta, W.Va.; four sons, Nelson Bucklew Jr. of Pauls Valley, Okla., Donald Bucklew of Gas City, Ind., James Bucklew of Herrin, Ill., and Paul Bucklew of Hagerstown; five sisters, Barbara J. Phillips of Akron, Ohio, Sunny Adams and Ellen Ridenour, both of Tunnelton, W.Va., Dorothy Hoffman of Stow, Ohio, and Mary Muhlenbruch of Oklahoma City; a brother, Ralph Bucklew of Hagerstown; and 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Services and visitation were Tuesday, March 16, in Rowlesburg. The Rev. Kenneth Lake officiated. Burial was in Mountain View cemetery near Tunnelton.
Arrangements were by Browning Funeral Home, Rowlesburg.
Frances J. Boyer
KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Frances Judd Boyer, 79, of Kingsport, died Saturday, March 13, 1999, at Holston Valley Hospital, Kingsport.
Born in Charles Town, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Hilda Judd.
She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Kingsport.
She is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Morison Nicely of Kingsport; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Edge Hill cemetery, Charles Town.
There will be no visitation.

CITRUS SPRINGS, Fla. - Lois E. Smith, 90, of 1841 W. Beach Plum Drive, died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, at her home.
Born Dec. 12, 1908, in Huntington, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late George and Florence Marks Schneider.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Smith.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Citrus Springs.
She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Broom of Citrus Springs and Patricia Charles of Orlando; three sons, Richard L. Smith of Frederick, Md., and Donald Smith and Robert Smith, both of Hagerstown; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Ernest Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery.
