CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Mary Louise Russell, 69, of Willow Springs Farm Apartments, died Wednesday, June 30, 1999, at Shenandoah Health Village Center in Charles Town.
Born Dec. 16, 1929, in Jefferson County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Frank Washington Bond and Nellie Mae Bell Bond Price.
She was formerly employed by Jefferson County Health Department in Bardane, W.Va.
She was a member of Charles Town Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Russell Engle of Charles Town; and an aunt.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Charles Town Baptist Church, 203 E. Congress St., Charles Town. Wyman Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg, W.Va.
Friends will be received at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.

INWOOD, W.Va. - Mildred Solenberger Miller, 94, of Inwood, died Wednesday, June 30, 1999, at Shenandoah Health Village Center, Charles Town, W.Va.
Born Jan. 8, 1905, in Frederick County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Charles M. and Ruth Metz Solenberger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry T. Miller.
She was a graduate of Hedgesville High School.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Gerrardstown Presbyterian Church.
She was a member of Berkeley County Historical Society and Nature Conservancy.
She is survived by a daughter, Ruhamah M. Strite of Falls Church, Va.; three sons, C. David Miller of Martinsburg, W.Va., Dr. H. Stauffer Miller of Yarmouth Port, Mass., and Dr. William S. Miller of Charles Town; a sister, Ruth Solenberger Dobbins of Newark, Del.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia S. Janney; and three brothers, Thomas Solenberger, J. Elbert Solenberger and Charles Solenberger.
Graveside services will be private; however, a memorial service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Gerrardstown Presbyterian Church. The Rev. William C. Starr will officiate.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Lydia T. Hollis, 80, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, at City Hospital in Martinsburg.
Born Sept. 22, 1918, in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of the late John and Pansy Raney Armstrong.
She was employed as an engraver by Thompson's Trophy Shop in Harrisburg, Pa.
She was a member of St. Andrew's Church of Penbrook in Harrisburg.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Thomas Hollis; a daughter, Sharon Wood of Homosassa, Fla.; a brother, Donald Armstrong of Riva, Md.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Jeannette A. Ettinger.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Curtis T. Lowry will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

HARPERS FERRY, W.Va. - Allene Schilstra Moneypenny, 86, of Deer Mountain Estates, died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, at the home of her daughter, Mary C. Stanford, in Harpers Ferry.
Born Nov. 12, 1912, in Newcastle, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Allen and Mary Bevan Schilstra.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrence O. Moneypenny.
She was a graduate of Harding High School in Ohio.
She retired as a sales person from a retail department store in Pennsylvania.
She attended Church of the Nazarene.
She was a member of AARP.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Harvey of Phoenix and Mary C. Stanford of Harpers Ferry; a son, Stuart B. Moneypenny of Harpers Ferry; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

MILLVILLE, W.Va. - Freddie Halloway, 52, died Sunday, June 27, 1999, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born July 25, 1947, in Norton, Va., he was the son of the late Fred and Gladys Bell Halloway.
He was a retired gasoline truck driver for Amoco in North Carolina.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Cherokee United Methodist Church, N.C.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Louise Minnich Halloway; one son, Mark Halloway of Manassas, Va.; two sisters, Phyllis Jaggers and Betty Lynch, both of Akron, Ohio; two brothers, Frankie Halloway and James Halloway, both of Akron, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Ann Ruth Baker and one brother, Jack Halloway.
