SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va. - Sianna Marie Hornich, 4 1/2 months, daughter of Romuald Hornich and Jessica Ellerbeck of Shenandoah Junction, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson, W.Va.
She is survived by paternal grandparents, Maria and Romuald Hornich of Shenandoah Junction; maternal grandparents, Letitia and Karl Ellerbeck of Winchester, Va.; four aunts; and one cousin.
She was of the Catholic faith.
A Mass of Angels will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Shepherdstown, W.Va., with the Rev. Matthew Rowgh as celebrant. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown.
There will be no visitation.

Madge L. Hartshorn
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Madge Lois Dick Hartshorn, 82, of Martinsburg, died Friday, Aug. 6, 1999, at her home.
Born Feb. 27, 1917, in Madam Creek, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Rev. Eugene and Norma Meador Dick.
Her husband, Everette L. Hartshorn, preceded her in death.
She attended West Virginia Wesleyan College and received her bachelor's degree from West Virginia University. She attended Ohio State University and received her master's degree from West Virginia University.
She was a retired school teacher.
She was a member of Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, and the Dillon Class. She was a former member of Christ Church, United Methodist in Charleston, W.Va.
She was president-elect of Friends of Music Club in Martinsburg.
She is survived by two sons, Dr. Thomas E. Hartshorn of Martinsburg, and Dr. George P. Hartshorn of Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands; three sisters, Mabel Dick and Louise Dick, both of Charleston, and Norma Jean Dick Hager of Islamorada, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Dick and Jennings Dick.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Christ Reformed United Church of Christ. The Rev. Al Clipp will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, Memorial Scholarship Fund, 117 E. Burke St., Martinsburg, WV 25401.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - L. Allen Janes, 75, of Martinsburg, died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999, at City Hospital in Martinsburg.
Born May 9, 1924, in Birmingham, Ala., he was the son of the late James Lloyd and Mary Katherine Prince Janes.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Louise Barney Janes.
He was a 1943 graduate of Martinsburg High School.
He retired from 3M Corp. after 22 years. He was employed by Martinsburg Frozen Food Locker, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Peoples Life Insurance.
A U.S. Navy veteran, he served in the Pacific Theater during World War II.
He was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, taught Sunday school and attended Elwood Dunn Sunday School Class.
He was a member of Equality Lodge No. 44 AF & AM; BPOE No. 778, Newton D. Baker Post No. 896 VFW; Berkeley Post No. 14, American Legion; AARP and was past commander of the local disabled veterans association. He was a member of Bloxom Bunch Dancers & Loudoun Dancers; and Berkeley County PTA. He was leader for Demolay and Boy Scouts; and was on the board of directors of Martinsburg Union Rescue Mission. He was past president of Martinsburg High School Alumni Association.
He is survived by two sons, Gregory A. Janes and Bradley G. Janes, both of Martinsburg; Patrick Hedges Futrell, whom he helped raise; eight grandchildren; a great-grandson; a niece and a great-nephew.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Arlene R. Carr will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery with military services by Newton D. Baker Post No. 896 VFW and Berkeley Post No. 14 American Legion.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

INWOOD, W.Va. - Sandra Lee Hamlin, 60, of Inwood, died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999, at her home.
Born June 28, 1939, in Burlington, Vt., she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret Hebert Poirier.
She was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church in Inwood.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Bernard Hamlin Sr.; a daughter, Debra Mroczck of Warrenton, Va.; four sons, Daniel Oberfeldt of South Carolina, James Oberfeldt of Tampa, Fla., Timothy Hamlin of Winooski, Vt., and Henry B. Hamlin Jr. at home; a sister, Helen Bluto of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, Robert Jodain of Essex Junction, Vt.; and seven grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church. The Rev. Brian Shoda will be celebrant.
Private burial will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Winchester, Va.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Jo Ann Crim, 51, of Martinsburg, died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999, at her home.
Born Aug. 29, 1947, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Merle Dwight and Anna W. Walkivich Crim.
She was a 1965 graduate of Martinsburg High School. She attended Shepherd College.
She owned and operated Crim's Antique Shop.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
She was a member of Golden Rule Chapter No. 69 Order of the Eastern Star; and a member of National Mechanical Bank Association.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Rosedale Cemetery. The Rev. Al Clipp will officiate.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.
Calvin E. Hensel Sr.
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Calvin Earnest Hensel Sr., 58, of Berkeley Springs, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1999, at his home.
Born Oct. 3, 1940, in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Henry Charles Hensel and Evelyn Virginia McBee Hensel Moss Barker of Berkeley Springs.
He attended Berkeley Springs Grade School and Annex School.
He worked as a laborer in construction.
He had attended Sir Johns Run Evangelical United Brethren Church.
He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 1483; and Sons of the American Legion Squadron No. 60, both in Berkeley Springs.
He is survived by a son, Lewis Edward Hensel of Berkeley Springs; two sisters, Ellen Jane Stevens of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Betty Moss Miller of Berkeley Springs; a brother, George Edward Moss of Berkeley Springs; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 306 Union St., Berkeley Springs. The Rev. Rodney C. Truax will officiate. Burial will be in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery in Morgan County, W.Va.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, whilch will be open from 10 a.m.
