KEARNEYSVILLE, W.Va. - Zelleapheane Deel Scott, 67, of Kearneysville, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson, W.Va.
Born May 5, 1932, in Panther, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Bailey and Rosa Ellen Dales Deel.
She was a teacher and principal at Cherry Run (W.Va.) School. She retired from National Geographic as a custodian.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, Wilford Raymond Scott; one daughter, Zelleapheane Siviero of Charles Town, W.Va.; four sons, Leonard Siviero and Nick A. Siviero, both of Atlanta, Frank J. Siviero of Dallas and Thomas W. Siviero of Lancaster, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Darlene Brant of Cumberland, Md. and Tammy J. Kuslush of Lexington Park, Md.; one stepson, Wilford R. Scott Jr. of Smithfield, Va.; one sister, Edna Brown of Martinsburg, W.Va.; two grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one great-aunt.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Ingram and Evie Deel; and one brother, Clyde Deel.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home, Ranson. The Rev. Wyman Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery, Martinsburg.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ada V. Waugh
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Ada Viola Waugh, 93, of Berkeley Springs, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at Valley View Nursing Home.
Born June 16, 1906, in Morgan County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Charles O. and Rosie B. Purnell Waugh.
She was a homemaker.
She was a Protestant.
She is survived by five nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret L. Youngblood and Lola M. Ambrose; and two brothers, James Purnell and Raymond Purnell.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 106 A. Mercer St., Berkeley Springs. The Rev. Hennis Fox will officiate. Burial will be in Greenway cemetery, Berkeley Springs.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donna M. Spriggs
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Donna Marie Ramirez Spriggs, 54, of Martinsburg, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999, at her home.
Born Sept. 29, 1945, in Hartford, Conn., she was the daughter of Henry W. Ramirez of Louisiana and Mary F. Surber Patnode of Charles Town, W.Va.
She was a homemaker.
She was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by three daughters, Sixta M. Miranda of Martinsburg, Maria H. Austin of Rehobeth Beach, Del. and Mary A. Crawford of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; two sons, Don D. Ramirez of Frederick, Md. and Keith S. Spriggs of Martinsburg; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town. The Rev. Earl Hairston will officiate. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no visitation.

HARPERS FERRY, W.Va. - Gladys Lucille Hileman, 77, of Mount Mission, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at her home.
Born May 3, 1922, in Jefferson County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Fonrose and Barbara Dillow Penwell.
Her husband William Charles Hileman died May 18, 1992.
She retired in 1987 after 11 years with American Woodwork Co. in Berryville, Va.
She was a member of Murrill Hill United Methodist Church, Mount Mission in Harpers Ferry.
She is survived by a niece, Cathy Combs of Ranson, W.Va., and other nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Leola Painter and Catherine Morris; and two brothers, Wager Penwell and Baker Penwell.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, 310 Fairfax Blvd., Charles Town, W.Va. The Rev. Carroll Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Jane Elizabeth Rockenbaugh, 75, of Shepherdstown, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born April 24, 1924, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Jesse Banks Flaming.
She was a graduate of Shepherdstown High School.
She was a cashier at Shepherd College for 16 years; she had been employed by Shepherdstown Independent Newspaper.
She was a member of Christ Reform Church in Shepherdstown and was a member of the Consistory.
She was a member of the Shepherdstown Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, John R. Rockenbaugh
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Christ Reform Church, 304 W. German St., Shepherdstown. The Rev. Bronson Staley will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery in Shepherdstown.
There will be no visitation.

Lee A. Barkley
WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - Lee A. Barkley, 71, of Winter Haven, and formerly of Elyria, Ohio, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Fla.
He was retired from General Motors, as a machinist.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II. He then served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of College Heights Baptist Church, Elyria.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Barkley; one sister, Beulah Boore of Hagerstown and one brother, Harry Barkley of Front Royal, Va.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Brookdale cemetery, Elyria. The Rev. James Gordon will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Busch-Curtis-Scheuffler Family Chapel, Elyria.
