FALLING WATERS, W.Va. - Phyllis Ann Grubb, 72, of Route 2, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born March 3, 1927, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Mildred Lookabaugh Henneberger.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Grubb; a daughter, Susan Alsip of Hedgesville, W.Va.; a son, Gary Grubb of Martinsburg, W.Va.; two sisters, Joan Shrader and Rosemary Toston, both of Hagerstown; a brother, Joseph Henneberger of Hagerstown; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown. The Rev. Jack Fullen will officiate.
There will be no viewing.

Irmgard M. Boening
HARPERS FERRY, W.Va. - Irmgard M. Boening, 71, of Deer Mountain Estates, died Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson, W.Va.
Born Dec. 23, 1927, in Heidelberg, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Katherine Bender Floesser.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Shepherdstown, W.Va.
She is survived by her husband, Waldemar F. Boening; five sons, Mark Boening of Fargo, N.D., Franz Boening of Harpers Ferry, Andre Boening of Linwood, Neb., and Luke Boening and Eric Boening, both of St. Paul, Minn.; a brother, Hans Floesser of Heidelberg; and six grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, High and King streets in Shepherdstown. The Rev. Perry Hanson will officiate. Burial will be in Emanuel Lutheran cemetery in St. Ansgar, Iowa.
The family will receive friends Thursday at 2 p.m. at the church.

Grace A. Mulford
BUNKER HILL, W.Va. - Grace A. Mulford, 63, of Bunker Hill, died Friday, Dec. 10, 1999, at her home.
Born March 4, 1936, in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Irene Rose Stubbs.
She is survived by her husband, John R. Mulford; two daughters, Sheryl Larkin of Hull, Mass., and Donna Wilson of Hingham, Mass.; two sons, Michael Mulford of Marshfield, Mass., and James Mulford of Las Vegas; a sister, Shirley Holrock of Hingham, Mass.; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Stubbs.
Arrangements were by Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Isaac R. Omps
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Isaac Richard "Bill" Omps, 76, of Berkeley Springs, died Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born March 17, 1923, in Hancock, he was the son of the late George Peter and Carrie Cleo Michael Omps.
His wife, Agnes Isabel Bain Omps, died Jan. 9, 1995.
He attended public schools in the Oakland section of Morgan County, W.Va.
He was a retired heavy-equipment operator and worked in construction.
He served in the 285th Engineering Combat Battalion of the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a Protestant.
He was a member of Morgan County Farm Bureau and AARP.
He is survived by four daughters, Patsy Hipp of Shepherdstown, W.Va., Barbara Cooper of Charles Town, W.Va., Brenda Kline of Milroy, Pa., and Sharon West of Berkeley Springs; nine grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Charles Omps, George Omps, Harry Omps, Melvin Omps and Homer Omps.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 306 Union St., Berkeley Springs. The Rev. Glenn F. Stevens Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Grove cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will be open from 10:30 a.m.

Kathleen E. Weigle
HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Kathleen E. Weigle, of Hedgesville, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at College View Center in Frederick, Md.
Born in Madison County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Calvin E. and Lillie Ann Weakley Richards.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Weigle.
She was a member of Johnsontown Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by a daughter, Wilma Lee Edwards of Hedgesville; a stepdaughter, Sarah Jean Stout of Boiling Springs, Pa.; a brother, Robert Franklin Richards of Berryville, Va.; three stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by seven sisters and two brothers.
Services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Johnsontown Church of the Brethren, Hedgesville. The Rev. Oliver N. Custer will officiate. Burial will be in Hedgesville Assembly of God cemetery.

Charles E. Stride
CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Charles Emory "Bucky" Stride, 58, of Patrick Henry Way, died Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson, W.Va.
Born April 23, 1941, in Shepherdstown, W.Va., he was the son of Elizabeth V. Springer Stride of Charles Town and the late Charles David Stride.
He was a graduate of Shepherdstown High School.
He retired from Armstrong Furniture Co. in Martinsburg, W.Va.
He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Kearneysville, W.Va.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Timothy D. Stride Sr. and Kevin L. Stride Sr., both of Kearneysville; a sister, Virginia Fraley of Shepherdstown; a brother, Lynwood Stride of Inwood, W.Va.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, 310 Fairfax Blvd., Charles Town. The Rev. Mark McDonald will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery in Martinsburg.
Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
