GREAT CACAPON, W.Va. - Ronnie William Brown, 35, of Great Cacapon, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born Aug. 30, 1964, in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of Paul William and Patricia Ruth Farris Brown of Great Cacapon.
He had attended Berkeley Springs High School.
He was employed by Berkeley Springs Motor Co.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was a Protestant.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancee, Anita LaRee Day of Great Cacapon; five daughters, Kami Jo Brown and Tabitha Brown of Greensboro, N.C., Ivory Morgan Brown, Jennifer Nicole Day and Alicia Ann Day, all of Great Cacapon; a son, David Austin Brown of Great Cacapon; a brother, Roger L. Brown of Great Cacapon; his grandmother, Nellie V. Stotler; and step-grandfather, Howard E. Stotler.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Darla Rae Brown McCarty.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 306 Union St., Berkeley Springs. The Rev. Jeff Dissmore will officiate. Burial with military services will be in Mount Nebo cemetery in Great Cacapon.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Norma L. Sprinkle
HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Norma Lynne Sprinkle, 49, of Hedgesville, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born July 11, 1950, in Kensington, Md., she was the daughter of Victor E. Brandrep of Port Richey, Fla., and Joan Lee Brandrep of Maryland.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, George W. Sprinkle; two sisters, Barbara Ann Brandrep and Elizabeth Brandrep, both of Virginia; a brother, John Charles Brandrep of Virginia; and her stepmother, Mary E. Fort of Port Richey.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard William Brandrep.
Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.
Franklin W. James Sr.
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Franklin W. "Buddy" James Sr., 57, of Martinsburg, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at his home.
Born June 24, 1942, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Jesse W. and Dorothy Butts James.
He was employed by Timoney and Borelli for 15 years. Previously, he was employed by the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg.
He served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force for 11 years, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Penwell James; a daughter, Diane James of Martinsburg; a son, Franklin W. James Jr.; a sister, Phyllis Carpenter of Martinsburg; a brother, G. Willard James of Martinsburg; and a granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Richard Lee James.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg. The Revs. Raymond E. Jones, John R. Yost and Tom Blake will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran cemetery in Arden, W.Va., with military services by Newton D. Baker Post 896 VFW and Berkeley Post 14 American Legion.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Charles E. Keesecker
HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Charles E. Keesecker, 46, of Route 4, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at his home.
Born Feb. 15, 1953, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Theodore and Elizabeth Shaw Keesecker.
He was employed by Garden State Tanning in Williamsport.
He was a member of Johnsontown Bible Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bettie Marcum Keesecker; two daughters, Frances Keesecker and Jessie Leigh Keesecker, both at home; a son, Charles R. Keesecker, at home; two sisters, Rosemary Hawse of Hagerstown and Betty Lou Keesecker of Sandy Hook, Md.; four brothers, Johnny Keesecker of Sharpsburg, Joseph Keesecker of Falling Waters, W.Va., Samuel Keesecker of Hagerstown and Kenneth Keesecker of Sandy Hook; a half brother, William Shaw of Pennsylvania; one granddaughter; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Johnsontown Bible Church, near Hedgesville on W.Va. 9, Johnsontown, W.Va. Pastors Jack Rudy and Jim Bishop will officiate. Burial will be in Johnsontown Bible Church cemetery.

Marlin W. McBee Jr.
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Marlin William McBee Jr., 71, of Martinsburg, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg.
Born May 10, 1928, in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Marlin W. McBee Sr. and Lillie Lopp McBee.
He was a graduate of Berkeley Springs (W.Va.) High School; and attended Potomac State College in Keyser, W.Va., and Hagerstown Junior College.
He had been employed by Fairchild Industries in Hagerstown; the Veterans Administration in Martinsburg and retired from the Veterans Administration in Washington, D.C.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was a Methodist.
He was a member of American Legion Post 14; Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 120; and VFW Post 896.
He is survived by three daughters, Rebecca Kay Shepherd of Mayhill, N.M., Marilyn Ann Cox of Catonsville, Md., and Sheila Jean Hollis of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; two sons, Denis Paige McBee of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Robert Alan McBee of Eldersburg, Md.; two sisters, Ida Lea Gray and Marian Park, both of Berkeley Springs; a brother, Bobbie McBee of Berkeley Springs; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his former wife, Jean McBee of Catonsville; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marjorie Gay; a son, Marlin Brent McBee; a sister, Mildred Louise McBee; two brothers, James Lester McBee and an infant brother; and a granddaughter.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 306 Union St., Berkeley Springs. The Rev. Hennis Fox will officiate. Burial will be in Spohrs Crossroads cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Anna C. Lobach
FALLING WATERS, W.Va. - Anna Catherine Hayes Lobach, 81, of Route 4, Box 380, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at Western Maryland Hospital Center in Hagerstown.
Born Sept. 26, 1918, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Nimrod A. and Anna A. Hause Jones.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet L. Evans of Hagerstown and Connie C. Nave of Falling Waters; three sons, Gerald L. Hayes of Chambersburg, Pa., Donald R. Hayes of Hagerstown and Richard J. Hayes Sr. of Falling Waters; 25 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth M. Hayes Sr.; four sisters; two brothers; and two grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. Keith Skelton will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
