HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Keith William Lewis, 37, of 17 Morgan Village, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Nov. 15, 1962, in Alexandria, Va., he was the son of Donald Luther Lewis of Morganton, N.C. and Betty Lou Mundy Brownley of Calabash, N.C.
He was employed by Standard Acoustical Products of Hagerstown for 14 years.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Maria E. Lewis; two daughters, Emily Lewis and Kathleen Lewis, both of Hedgesville; a son, Michael Lewis of Hedgesville; a twin brother, Kevin L. Lewis of Martinsburg; his stepmother, Sue Lewis of Morganton; his stepfather, Bob Brownley of Calabash; a stepdaughter, Lisa Stevens of Hedgesville; and three stepbrothers, Jimmy Brownly of Cincinnati, Richard Brownly of Atlanta, Ga. and Christopher Joines of North Wilkesboro, N.C.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Christina Lewis.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport. The Rev. Burton Wilbur, of Bethel Baptist Church, Morganton, will officiate.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. in Hagerstown.
Donald F. Rickel Sr.
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Donald F. Rickel Sr., 58, of Shepherdstown, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born Nov. 10, 1941, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Ruth N. Jones Rickel.
He is survived by three daughters, Tammy Clark of Martinsburg, W.Va., Cheryl Aikens of Gainesville, Fla. and Dawn Scudder of Ocala, Fla.; a sister, Peggy L. Unger of Martinsburg; three brothers, Charles W. Rickel Jr. of Fort Atkinson, Wis., Robert K. Rickel of Martinsburg and Raymond E. Rickel of Falling Waters, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by a son, Donald F. Rickel Jr.; a sister, Rose M. Rickel Foltz; and three brothers, Thomas Rickel, Calvin L. Rickel and Paul W. Rickel.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg. The Rev. Devin B. Ward will officiate. Burial will be private.
Alice E. Cain
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Alice Elizabeth Cain, 74, of Berkeley Springs, died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at her home.
Born Nov. 11, 1925, in Jones Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Samuel Joseph and Mary Beulah Clem Kyne.
She attended public schools in Berkeley County, W.Va.
She worked as a seamstress for London Fog Manufacturing in Hancock during the 1970's; and at Hartz Sewing Factory in Brunswick, Md., until her retirement in 1983. She was a homemaker.
She was a Protestant.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharon K. Davis of Berkeley Springs; three sons, Charles Ray Cain of Augusta, W.Va., David R. Cain of Manassas, Va. and Terry Wayne Cain of Chambersburg, Pa.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Doris M. Beard; and a brother, Donald Clifford Kyne.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 306 Union St. in Berkeley Springs. Pastor Dan Howard will officiate. Burial will be in Highland cemetery in Morgan County, W.Va.
The family will receive friends today from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will open at 10 a.m.
Mazie V. Clemmons
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Mazie V. Clemmons, 90, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at her home.
Born Oct. 3, 1909, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Casper and Margaret Emery Hutzler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clemmons.
She retired after 47 years with Perfection Garment.
She was a member of Mount Carmel Church.
She is survived by a close friend, Lewis L. Duke of Martinsburg; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Hunter Hutzler and Edward Hutzler; and four sisters, Minnie Franks, Ollie Bamma Franks, Rosie Holliday and Ruth Ann Hutzler.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg. The Rev. Frank S. Douty will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Carmel cemetery.

Mannie Dillow
HARPERS FERRY, W.Va. - Mannie Dillow, 78, of Harpers Ferry, died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson, W.Va.
Born Aug. 16, 1921, in Charles Town, W.Va., he was the son of the late Frank and Nora Dailey Dillow.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Marie Dillow, in 1993.
He was a self-employed logger in Jefferson County, W.Va.
He was a member of Mission Tabernacle Church in Harpers Ferry.
He is survived by three children, Jerry Lee Dillow and Roger Frank Dillow, both of Charles Town, and Stella Dillow of Harpers Ferry; two sisters, Marguerite Giacobetti of Philadelphia and Lucy Mae Havens of Michigan; six grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three children, Jeannie Dillow, Mary Katherine Dillow and Wayne Douglas Dillow; seven sisters, Dorothy Dignazio, Mary C. Appell, Edna B. Dillow, Grace V. Hardy, Ellen V. Armstrong, Gladys L. Harner and Estelle Elizabeth Upwright; and a brother, Thomas Lee Dillow.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home in Charles Town. The Rev. Lee Strickler will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens cemetery in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Pauline T. Fritts
CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Pauline Thayer Fritts, 84, of Charles Town, died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson, W.Va.
Born Jan. 15, 1916, in Ivy Depot, Va., she was the daughter of the late Norman Tyree and Beulah Harp Thayer.
She was a graduate of Harpers Ferry (W.Va.) High School, where she starred in basketball; and a graduate of Union Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Baltimore.
She retired from Jefferson Memorial Hospital and Charles Town General Hospital, as a registered nurse.
She was a member of Charles Town Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, J. Russell Fritts; a daughter, Carol F. Kable of Charles Town; a son, Larry R. Fritts of Charles Town; a brother, Richard Thayer of Titusville, Fla.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Birdie Elizabeth Thayer; a sister, Nellie Hackley; and a half brother, Lt.Col. Harry Graves.
A memorial service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Charles Town Presbyterian Church, 220 E. Washington St. in Charles Town. The Rev. William Everhart will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Lutheran Church cemetery in Bolivar, W.Va.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home in Charles Town.
