SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va.- Betty Lou Fletcher, 74, of Little Run Acres, died Monday, May 15, 2000, at her home.
Born Nov. 1, 1925, in Weston, W.Va., she was the daughter of Emma Stalnaker Harvey of Shepherdstown and the late Hersey Fisher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Eugene Fletcher.
She was a 1943 graduate of Weston High School, and attended West Virginia Business School.
She retired from Shepherd College as a secretary after 23 years.
She was a member of New Street United Methodist Church, Shepherdstown.
She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 155; Shepherdstown Women's Club; Meeklenburg Homemakers and with Hospice of the Panhandle.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a stepsister, Opal Losh of Weston; a stepbrother, Dana Harvey of Weston; two cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two stepfathers, George Harvey and Paul Westfall; a stepbrother, Dale Harvey; and a cousin.
Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at New Street United Methodist Church, Shepherdstown. The Rev. James Embrey will officiate.
The family will receive friends Wednesday and Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg, W.Va.
The family also will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Floyd Funeral Home, 402 Main St., Weston. Graveside services will follow at Machpelah cemetery in Weston.

Ronald J. Keller
RANSON, W.Va. - Ronald James Keller, 78, of Ranson, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at Heartland of Martinsburg.
Born Oct. 2, 1921, in Yatesboro, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph Dietz and Gertrude Keller.
He was a carpenter for the Department of Agriculture.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Naval Reserve.
He was a member of Zion Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Tucker Keller of Ranson; two daughters, Beverly Hubenschmidt of Waldorf, Md. and Elizabeth Keller of Ranson; a son, Cpl. Joseph Keller of Cherry Point, N.C.; four sisters, Ruth Johnston of Butler, Pa., Millie Hetrick of Chambersville, Pa., Mae Skinner of Irvine, Pa. and Jean Parks of Creekside, Pa.; a brother, Tom Jewart of Youngsville, Pa.; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Zion Episcopal Church in Charles Town, W.Va. The Rev. John W.T. Weise will officiate. Burial will be in Edge Hill cemetery in Charles Town.
The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home in Ranson.

Marvin L. Fox
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Marvin Leroy "Bud" Fox, 67, of Berkeley Springs, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born March 15, 1933, in Warfordsburg, Pa., he was the son of Teressa Hendershot Fox of Berkeley Springs and the late Sanford E. Fox.
He attended Alpine School and Berkeley Springs High School.
He worked as an engine tester for Mack Trucks in Hagerstown, retiring in 1991.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, among others.
He was a member of Alderton-Dawson American Legion Post 60; Risinger-Stotler VFW Post 4019; Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1483; and Junior Order of United American Mechanics Council 117, all of Berkeley Springs.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 47 years, Iris Jane King Fox; two daughters, Melissa J. Mundey and Marcia J. Coffman, both of Berkeley Springs; two sons, Daniel M. Fox of Berkeley Springs and David K. Fox of Kingwood, Texas; three sisters, Lorraine L. Henderson, Cheryl Ann Price and Mary Ann McCarty, all of Berkeley Springs; a brother, Donald E. Fox of Berkeley Springs; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Homer G. Fox; and a granddaughter.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 306 Union St. in Berkeley Springs. Presiding Elder Mark L. Faith will officiate. Burial with military honors by the Tri-State Honor Guard will be in Alpine Church cemetery, Pious Ridge, in Morgan County, W.Va.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m., with a Junior Order Lodge memorial service at 8 p.m. The funeral home will open Friday at 11 a.m.
Agnes M. Anderson
RANSON, W.Va. - Agnes May Anderson, 76, of Ranson, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson.
Born May 10, 1924, in Charles Town, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William F. and Nora Elizabeth Owens Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Melvin Anderson Sr., in 1982.
She retired from the Dietary Department at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
She is survived by three daughters, Hazel M. Denney of Rippon, W.Va., Peggy JoAnn Francis of Toccoa, Ga. and Shelva Jean Gifft of Charles Town; a son, Carl Melvin Anderson Jr. of Ranson; two sisters, Julia Martin and Edna Gifft, both of Ranson; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, William F. Jackson and Philip M. Jackson.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Edge Hill cemetery in Charles Town. Pastor Richard E. Neal will officiate.
There will be no visitation.

KEARNEYSVILLE, W.Va. - James E. Ford, 76, of Kearneysville, died Thursday, May 18, 2000, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born Jan. 31, 1924, in Solley, Md., he was the son of the late David and Maggie Ford.
He was a retired carpenter.
He was a member of Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Grethel Church Ford; a daughter, Patricia Firesheets of Clearbrook, Va.; a son, James L. Ford of Hawaii; a stepdaughter, Barbara Gibson of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; three stepsons, Stephen Phillips of Chatsworth, Ga., Daniel Phillips of Summersville, W.Va. and Claude Phillips of Martinsburg; and three grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg. The Rev. Dennis E. Jackman will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
