HILDA M. BAKER
KEYSER, W.Va. - Hilda M. Baker, 82, of Route 4, Box 513, Keyser, died Tuesday, July 22, 1997, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born July 25, 1914, in Piedmont, she was the daughter of the late Issac Divelbliss and Leona Gertrude (Alderton) Divelbliss Kerns. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Hiram Baker, in 1987; two sons, James Baker and Wayne Baker; and one daughter, Betty Muir.
Mrs. Baker was a homemaker. She was a member of Cross Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are two sons, John Baker and wife Shirley, Cross, Roger L. Baker and wife Wanda, New Creek; three daughters, Kathryn Kifer, Aurora, Leona Logsdon and husband Harold, Westernport, Rayma Fickes, Moscow Mills, Md.; one half-brother, Wayne Kerns, Keyser; one stepsister, Pearl Summers, Cumberland; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Stephen Landis officiating.
Interment will be in Sinclair Memorial Gardens, Cross.
Pallbearers will be Arthur Fickes, Richard Fickes, Roger Baker, Donnie Baker, John Baker, and Daniel Muir.
WILLIAM K. BAISOR
KEYSER, W.Va. - William K. Baisor, 87 of 345 Hawthorne Rd., Keyser, died on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 1997, at Moran Manor Nursing Home, Westernport.
Born Sept. 15, 1910, in Waddle, Pa., he was the son of the late Harvey Bush and Mary Jane (Young) Baisor. He also was preceded in death by a son, Billy Baisor Jr.; an Infant Daughter; and one sister, Louella Baisor.
Mr. Baisor was owner of the Automatic Sharp Shop, Keyser, and retired Construction Engineer from the Doyle & Russell Division of Litton Industries, Richmond, Va.
He attended Penn State University, was a member of the First United Methodist Church, member and Past President of the Keyser Rotary Club, a member of Potomac Highland Travel Council, a World War II Navy Veteran, and a member of the VFW Post #6775 Queens Point, McCoole.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Evelyn (Stafford) Baisor; stepson, Gary L. Stickley, Keyser; one sister, Eleanor B. Benner, State College, Pa.; two nephews, Fred Benner and Kenneth Benner.
Friends will be received at the Markwood McKenzie Funeral Home, Keyser, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 3, 1998, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Samuel E. Starling Jr. officiating.
Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
VFW Post #6775 Queens Point Memorial Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church, Keyser.
ANNA B. ELKINS
FROSTBURG - Anna Bittner Elkins, 81, formerly of Frostburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 1997, at Potomac Point Geriatric Center, Stafford, Va.
Born Feb. 20, 1916, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mary Ann (Smith) Bittner. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Elkins; and two brothers, Elmer and Marshall Bittner.
She had been a member of the First English Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, James Elkins and wife Margie, Cape Coral, Fla., and William Elkins, Woodbridge, Va.; three sisters, Eleanor Close and husband William, Frostburg, Dorothy Bevan and husband Kenneth, Lewiston, Mich., and Betty Smith, Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, Howard Bittner, Frostburg; and two grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. There will be a private graveside service. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
Sowers Funeral Home, Frostburg, is in charge of the arrangements.
HUBERT J. FEENEY
CUMBERLAND - Hubert J. "Mick" Feeney, 76, of Cumberland, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 1997, at Memorial Hospital.
Born March 14, 1921, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Patrick L. and Bertha C. (Laing) Feeney. He also was preceded in death by one sister, Catherine F. Stump; two brothers, William L. Feeney and James P. Feeney.
Mr. Feeney was retired from PPG Industries, Cumberland. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where he was a former usher and lector. He was president of St. Mary's Home School Association. He was a referee for high school and college football in the Allegany County area for many years. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth (Fulbright) Feeney; three sons, Timothy Feeney, Mesa, Ariz., Terrance P. Feeney Sr. and wife Louise, Prescott, Ariz., and William J. Feeney and wife Louise, Cumberland; one daughter, S. Catherine Lindner and husband William, Columbia; two brothers, F. Gerard Feeney, South Bend, Ind., and Peter A. Feeney, Cumberland; one sister, Patricia J. Norton, Paw Paw, W.Va.; and four grandchildren, Terrance P. Feeney Jr., Christopher M. Feeney, Douglas R. Feeney, all of Phoenix, Ariz., and Sarah E. Feeney, Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Monday at 10 a.m. with Father Milton A. Hipsley as celebrant.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to St. Mary's Church Organ Fund.
A Christian wake service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
HELEN E. BAILEY
KEYSER, W.Va. - Helen E. Bailey, 81, of 73 Mozelle St., Keyser, died Thursday, July 3, 1997, at her residence.
Born April 28, 1916, in Beryl, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Edith (Liller) Tucci. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. Bailey, on August 8, 1970.
Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Church of the Assumption, Keyser.
Surviving are one son, Ralph M. Bailey, Keyser; a granddaughter, Shannon E. Cutter, Keyser; a grandson, Shane M. Bailey, Ravenswood; four great-grandchildren, Jodi and Kori Cutter, and Jordan Wade and Travis M. Bailey; two brothers, Patrick Tucci, Fairfield, Ohio, and Louis Tucci, Providence, R.I.; two sisters, Rockine M. Elias, Westernport, and Kathryn Whisner, Somers Point, N.J.

MARY E. COFFMAN
KEYSER, W.Va. - Mary Evelyn Coffman, 81, a resident of Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home, formerly of 117 State St., Keyser, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 1997, at the nursing home.
Born Jan. 23, 1916, in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late Harry R. and Bertha C. (Arnold) Sliger. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert T. Coffman, April 23, 1964.
Mrs. Coffman was a graduate of Potomac State College and the director of alumni affairs at Potomac State College from 1961 until her retirement in 1986. She was named the 1990 recipient of the distinguished service award by the Potomac State College Association. Established in 1975, the distinguished service award is conferred for exceptional service and dedication to the college and/or its alumni association. Mrs. Coffman was the first alumni affairs director at the college, a post she held for 25 years. The Potomac State College Foundation was established shortly after the arrival of Mrs. Coffman.
She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Eta Upsilon Gamma Alumna, and the Women's Club of Keyser.
She was well known for her music abilities. Mrs. Coffman started teaching piano at the age of 16 and had a music studio for eight years. She played the organ for Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church for over 60 years and led the Cherub and Junior Choirs for many years. She was prominent in community music endeavors, accompanying many performances of the community chorus Christmas program, Potomac State College graduations, the Kiwanis Club, and individual musical groups.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Lee Howard, Newport News, Va., and Barbara A. Gellner, St. Mary's, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Merrilee J. Schoolcraft and husband Kelly Schoolcraft, Frisco, N.C., Christopher A. Howard, Newport News, Va., W. James Gellner and wife Liliane, Charlotte, N.C., Robert C. Gellner and Matthew C. Gellner, both of Morgantown; and one great-grandson, K.J. Schoolcraft.
Friends will be received at the Markwood McKenzie Funeral Home, Keyser, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Matthew Riegel and the Rev. Donald Anderson officiating.
