WAYNE M. STEWART
KEYSER, W.Va. - Wayne M. Stewart, 62, of 427 Ward Ave., Keyser, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 1998, at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born Aug. 8, 1936, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late William W. and Hannah Elizabeth (Beckwith) Stewart.
Mr. Stewart was a fork truck operator for Westvaco. He was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Keyser. He was a member of the Vestry, a previous Senior Warden, Chalice Bearer and choir member of the church. He was a Past Master of the Potomac Lodge 41 F & AM, Keyser.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma (Keys) Stewart; one son, William Jeffrey Stewart and wife Cheryl, Richmond, Va.; one daughter, Waynetta Holloway and husband Richard A., Jr., Fairmont, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Jordan E. Holloway, Jocelyn N. Kayle and Ciera Stewart; two sisters, Ennis McDonald, Keyser, and Gloria Redman, Phoenix; one brother, Niles Harper, Oak Park, Mich.; one uncle, Charles Stewart and wife Leola, Piedmont; one aunt, Aeolia Harris, Baltimore; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Reading of the Litany will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 8:30 p.m.
Christian Burial Services will be held at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Keyser, on Saturday, Aug. 29, 1998, at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Judson Pealer and the Rev. Harold E. Bishop II officiating.
Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.

CORA N. STICKLEY
BURLINGTON, W.Va. - Cora N. Stickley, 94, of Route 1, Burlington, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 1998, at Lions Manor, Cumberland, Md.
Born on Dec. 10, 1903, at Burlington, she was a daughter of the late George S. and Mary M. (Kelley) McGee. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Campbell M. Stickley, on Jan. 15, 1976; and by a son, Warren Lee Stickley.
Mrs. Stickley was a member of the Burlington Union Church.
She is survived by one son, Martin Stickley and wife Carol, LaVale, Md.; one brother, Joe Bob McGee, Keyser; five grandchildren, Nancy Bushby and husband, Eric, Laurel, Md., Kaye McTighe and husband, Shaun, Woodbridge, Va.; Cam Stickley and wife Dennise, Seabrook, Md., Craig Stickley and wife, Debra, Stewartstown, Pa., Amy Hendershot and husband, Jack, LaVale; seven great-grandchildren, Andrea Shanholtz, Lisa Harrington, Julie Stickley, Melissa Stickley, Kerrie Stickley, Jamie Stickley and Emily Hendershot.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Burlington Union Church on Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Angela Cosner officiating. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services.
Pallbearers will be Cam Stickley, Craig Stickley, Eric Bushby, Shaun McTighe, Jack Hendershot and David Harrington.

HARLEY A. "PETE" STICKLEY
ROMNEY, W.Va. - Harley Arthur "Pete" Stickley, 95, of Romney, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1998, at Heartland of Keyser in Keyser.
He was born on May 8, 1903, in Junction, a son of the late Tobias and Gertha (Shoemaker) Stickley. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Harmison Stickley, in December 1977; one son, Richard L. Stickley in 1992; six brothers; and one sister.
He was a Shop Forman, having worked for the State Road Commission, West Virginia Department of Highways for 38 years until his retirement in 1966.
He was a member of the Mount Olive United Methodist Church, Purgitsville, and attended the Romney Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Harlyn Shillingburg, Keyser; one step-daughter, Mrs. Judy Buckbee, Romney; three grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; one step-great-great-grandson.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Dec. 4, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Shaffer Funeral Home.
Services will be at the Shaffer Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Glen R. Hamric officiating.
RAY T. "TOBY" STICKLEY SR.
KEYSER, W.Va. - Ray T. "Toby" Stickley Sr., 70, of Linden Drive, Keyser, died Tuesday, July 28, 1998, at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born Aug. 20, 1927, in Burlington, he was the son of Eva L. (Shoemaker) Stickley and the late Ray D. Stickley.
Mr. Stickley was retired after 36 years as a teacher in Mineral County. He attended Potomac State College and graduated from West Virginia University with a BA degree in education.
He was a member of the Fountain United Brethren in Christ Church. He was a life-member of the Burlington Volunteer Fire Department; a former Keyser High School baseball coach; a U.S. Army veteran of World War II; and member of VFW Post 6775, Queens Point, McCoole, Md.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Anne (Baker) Stickley; three sons, Ray T. Stickley Jr. and wife Margie M., Hagerstown, Md., Michael K. Stickley and wife Joanne E., Keyser, and Mark S. Stickley and wife Betty H., Moorefield; two brothers, Dalton K. Stickley, Arizona, and Robert Stickley, Burlington; two sisters, Genevieve Hartman and Margaret Amtower, both of Keyser; and eight grandchildren, Chris, Eric, Andy, Kelsey, Paula, Alex, Joshua and Taylor Stickley.

MILFORD "MUTT" STREETS
ELK GARDEN, W.Va. - Milford "Mutt" Streets, 80, of Elk Garden, died Monday, Feb. 16, 1998, at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born Dec. 7, 1917, in Hartmansville, he was the son of the late Frank and M. Carrie (Hoover) Streets.
Mr. Streets was retired from U.S. Steel.
Surviving are his wife, Hattie (Propst) Streets; one son, Carl Likens, Laurel, Md.; three daughters, Betty Barrick, Keyser, Anna Mae Via, New Creek, and Margo Rotruck, Keyser; one sister, Reta Blum, Erie, Pa.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, Kitzmiller, Md., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Herman Baliles officiating.
CHARLES H. "TOADY" STRICKLER
AUGUSTA, W.Va. - Charles H. "Toady" Strickler, 62, of HC 71, Box 154A, Augusta, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998, at his home.
Mr. Strickler was born on June 15, 1936, in Woodstock, Va., a son of the late Harry W. Strickler and Louise Smith Strickler. He retired after 34 years with Western Union Telegraph Company. He was a 1954 graduate of Woodstock High School. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He was a member of the Woodstock United Methodist Church. He was a member of the American Legion Post 91 in Romney and Moose Lodge #1371 in Romney.
He married
Clare Sylvester on Feb. 16, 1980, in Washington, D.C.
Surviving are his wife; his mother, Louise Strickler, Woodstock; one son, Charles H. "Pete" Strickler Jr., at home; one brother, Harry W. Strickler, Amherst, Va., and one sister, Lillian Strickler, Woodstock.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m. at the Massanutten cemetery, Woodstock, with the Rev. David Palmer officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Giffin Funeral Home, Capon Bridge.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Panhandle, 2015 Boyd Orchard Court, Martinsburg, WV 25401.
