ROBERT "BOB" LEE
DELRAY, W.Va. - Robert Odell "Bob" Lee, 56, of Delray, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1998, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
He was born Feb. 10, 1942, in Delray, a son of the late Melvin Eugene Lee and Fannie Belle Rudy Lee. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Harlan and Jim.
Mr. Lee was employed by Southern States for 27 years, presently working at the petroleum plant in Moorefield. He was a Vietnam Veteran, and he was a member of the Delray Church of Christ. He was Chief of the North River Valley Volunteer Fire Company at Rio, Trustee of the Green Lane cemetery Association, and was a member of the Mathias V.F.W.
Surviving are three sisters, Ruby Hall, Polly Lee and Libby Lee, all of Delray; two brothers, Dwight Lee and Carl W. Lee, both of Delray; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted in the Delray Church of Christ, on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Jim Sandusky, Minister, and Ansel Peer, Minister, officiating.
The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services.
Military rites will be accorded by the Hampshire County Veterans Organization.
Pallbearers will be Randy Wilson, Roger Wilson, Woodrow Poland, Steve Billmeyer, John Adams and Mark Lee.

HELEN L. KNOTTS
KEYSER, W.Va. - Helen L. Knotts, 73, of 538 W. Piedmont St., Keyser, died Saturday, May 16, 1998, at the Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born March 6, 1925, at Davis, she was a daughter of the late William and Estie (Harvey) Kline. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. Knotts, on Oct. 22, 1988; and one brother, William Kenneth Kline.
Mrs. Knotts was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Keyser; Ladies Shrine, Keyser; Alkire Chapter 10 OES, Keyser; Nancy Hanks Post 3518 VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Keyser; and Boyce-Houser Post 41 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Keyser. She currently was serving as treasurer of the Heartland of Keyser Auxiliary.
Surviving are one daughter, Terry A. Duckworth and husband Larry, Keyser; two brothers, Carl Kline and John Kline, Morgantown; and three special grandchildren, Shea Duckworth, Brian Duckworth and Michael Duckworth, all of Keyser.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph Jarrett officiating.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.

GWENDOLA M. KIDNER
ROMNEY, W.Va. - Gwendola "Dola" Mae Kidner, 73, of Romney, died Sunday, June 28, 1998, at her residence.
Born Dec. 17, 1924, in Springfield, she was a daughter of the late David William and Pluma Myrtle (Poland) Long. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Lewis Kidner, on April 8, 1995; and her brother, William David Long, on May 20, 1994.
Mrs. Kidner retired after 35 years as a clerk for the A&P; Store in Romney. She was a member of the South Branch Baptist Church, Romney.
Surviving are one stepson, Denver L. Kidner Jr., Cumberland, Md.; one sister, Estelene L. Shingleton, Romney; one nephew, Hoy Shingleton Jr., Martinsburg; four nieces, Cynthia Johnson and Laura Ruble, both of Romney, Lisa Long, Shepherdstown, and Davin Long-Baker, Harpers Ferry; and eight great-nieces and -nephews.
Friends will be received at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Douglas N. Shepherd officiating.
Interment will be in the Branch Mountain Methodist cemetery, Three Churches.

CARL T. JOHNSON
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Carl T. Johnson, age 75, of 105 Saint John St., Berkeley Springs, died on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998, as a result of an automobile accident on Route 495 near Swanton, Md.
Mr. Johnson was born in Keyser on Jan. 20, 1923. He was the son of the late William A. Johnson and Emma (Rice) Johnson. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Amos, Gene, Donald and John Johnson; and one sister, Oneda Davis.
Mr. Johnson was a member of Francis Asbury Methodist Church in Berkeley Springs and was very active in his church. He served on the Finance Committee, was the Financial Secretary for the Sunday School and former secretary for the church.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific Theater. He operated the NuWay Cleaners in Berkeley Springs and other areas in Maryland. He was an appraiser for Morgan County, W.Va. He was a member of Deford Masonic Lodge #88 in Berkeley Springs, a former member of the Berkeley Springs Lions Club, and a former member of the Oris Shrine Temple in Wheeling.
He is survived by his wife, Eloween (Evans) Johnson; and one daughter, Karlyn S. Price and husband, John A. Price; and one grandson, Jonathon Price of Deep Creek Lake, Md.
He is also survived by four sisters, Eleanor Stemple, Oakland, Md., Phyllis Helbig and husband, Gene, Oakland, Nancy Glotfelty and husband, Randell, Sarasota, Fla., Rita Trout and husband, Willard, North Port, Fla.; two brothers, Wayne Johnson and wife, Jackie, Oakland, and Gerald Johnson and wife, Twila, Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Friends will be received at the Fredlock Funeral Home, Piedmont, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Oakland, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Joint funeral services for Mr. Johnson and his granddaughter, Meghan Price, will be held at St. Paul's on Sunday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Roger A. Harrison Sr. and the Rev. Ann W. Harrison will officiate.
Interment will be in Garrett Memorial Gardens, Oakland.

JENNIE M. LIKENS
PIEDMONT, W.Va. - Jennie M. Likens, 90, formerly of Piedmont died Monday, July 13, 1998, at Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home, Keyser.
She was born in Piedmont on Feb. 28, 1908, the daughter of the late Joseph Amoruso and Felicia (Dellido) Amoruso. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell W. Likens, who died Sept. 30, 1979; five brothers; and one sister.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Westernport, Md.
She is survived by two sons, Robert R. Likens, and wife, Phyllis, Cumberland, Joseph C. Likens, and wife, Patricia, McMurray, Pa.; one sister, Lucritia Amoruso, Piedmont; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
Friends will be received at the Fredlock Funeral Home, Piedmont, on Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Westernport, with Fr. Jim Hannon, Pastor, officiating.
