HAZEL BRADLEY
KEYSER, W.Va. - Hazel Bradley, 92, of 500 Carskadon Lane, Keyser, formerly of Piedmont, died Tuesday, March 17, 1998, at the Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home where she had been a resident.
Born July 25, 1905, in Piedmont, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Edna Pearl (Ledlow) Helferstay. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Bradley, in 1983; a brother, Jake Helferstay; and a sister, Nellie McCabe.
Mrs. Bradley was a homemaker, and a member of Queens Point VFW Post 6775 Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are three daughters, Jeannine Barrick, Carol Fazenbaker and Jackie Bradley, all of Keyser; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Thursday, March 19, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, March 20, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. John Footen officiating.
Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
PERRY R. EVANS SR.
AUGUSTA, W.Va. - Perry Ronald Evans Sr., 83, of Augusta, died Monday, July 20, 1998, at the Winchester Medical Center.
Born Sept. 19, 1914, in Martin, he was the son of the late Elmer C. Evans and Myrtle E. (Rotruck) Evans. He also was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ferrelee, in 1966; and his second wife, Agnes Payne, in 1978.
Mr. Evans was a carpenter. During World War II, he worked building Liberty Ships. He was a member of the Augusta Assembly of God Church, Augusta.
Surviving are his wife, Georgia Gilbert Evans; three sons, Ronald "Ron" Evans, Upperville, Va., Thomas "Tom" Evans, New Windsor, Md., and Furman Evans, Bunker Hill; two daughters, Ramona Evans Wright, Woodbine, Md., and Darlene Evans Elmore, Eldersburg, Md.; four stepsons, Marvin Payne, Glen Burnie, Md., Michael Miller, Pasadena, Md., Robert Miller, Brooklyn, Md., and Wayne Miller, Slanesville; one stepdaughter, Sharon Mangum, Oakland, Md.; two sisters, Freda Bonner, Oakland, and Wanda Baer, Fountain; seven step-grandchildren; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the Augusta Assembly of God Church Friday, July 24, 1998, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Phares officiating.
Pallbearers will be Michael Miller, Tom Evans Jr., Ray Wright III, Marvin Payne, Daniel Evans and Bryan Evans.
JOANN F. DODRILL
RIDGELEY, W.Va. - Joann Faye Dodrill, 43, of Ridgeley, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 1998, at her residence.
Born Dec. 31, 1954, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of Robert Henry and June Josephine (Senn) Skidmore of Ridgeley. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Henry M. Skidmore and her maternal grandmother, Katherine E. Senn.
Mrs. Dodrill was a physical therapist aid in the rehabilitation department of Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Old Furnace Church of the Brethren.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, David Allen Dodrill Sr.; her paternal grandmother, Goldie L. Skidmore, one daughter, Michelle Leigh (Dodrill) Long and husband Brian Keith, one son, David Allen Dodrill II and wife Julie Renee (Whitacre) Dodrill, all of Ridgeley; three grandchildren, Desirae Faylyn Long, Isabella Elise Long and Ethan David Dodrill; two sisters, Carolyn Bennick and husband Eddie, Bethlehem, Pa., and Debbie Roberson and husband Turk, two brothers, Robbie Skidmore and wife Rita and Brian Skidmore, all of Ridgeley; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Old Furnace Church of the Brethren on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Dietz officiating.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Louk, Gus Ryan, Tom Headley, Randy Peer, Mikey Ford and Ed Whitacre. Honorary pallbearers will be Wally Roberson, Dave Sutton, Mike Sloan, Brannon Pyles, John Campbell, Danny Readd, T.R. Davis and Jerry Kirby.

This is a letter of appreciation to God, my family, people in the churches, friends, neighbors, coworkers and everyone who has been involved in any way with the different fund raisers, the hard work, cards and Thank You for your prayers. For the last 15 months it has been a hard road to travel because of being sick, this has really helped and made the road easier. God Bless You All. He has blessed me through all of you. Thank You so very much I pray I get better so I can help others like they have helped me. I needed a way to thank every one and what a better way I hope I have done it in this letter. NELLIE S. EVERETT
ROMNEY, W.Va. - Nellie S. Everett, 87, of Romney, died Nov. 12, 1998, at Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney.
She was born March 12, 1911, in Augusta, a daughter of the late James Schull and Safrona A. (Wolford) Schnibbe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Guy Robert Everett, who died in 1961; and one sister, Mary Katherine Johnson, in 1980.
She was retired from the Federal Home Administration (FHA), Romney, after 38 years of service. She was a member of the Romney First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one brother, James L. Schnibbe and wife, Juanita, Fort Ashby; one nephew, Richard L. Johnson and wife, Mary Kathryn, LaVale, Md.; two nieces, Donna M. Shawen and husband, Ronald, Ridgeley, W.Va., Cynthia L. Linn and husband, Wayne, Fort Ashby; three great-nieces, three great-nephews; two great-great-nieces; and three great-great-nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

ELEANOR C. CONROY
PIEDMONT, W.Va. - Eleanor C. Conroy, 90, a resident of the Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home, formerly of Fairview St., Piedmont, died Friday, Sept. 25, 1998, at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born March 8, 1908, in Franklin, Md., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Reddington) Conroy.
Miss Conroy was a homemaker. She formerly attended St. Peter's Catholic Church, Westernport, Md.
Surviving are one niece, Patsy Everly, Lincoln Park, Mich.; two nephews, Thomas Conroy, Taylor, Mich., and Edward Conroy, Lincoln Park.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Monday, Sept. 28, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home Monday at 3 p.m. with Father James Hannon officiating.
MELVIN "MEB" DUNITHAN
ELK GARDEN, W.Va. - Melvin Oscar "Meb" Dunithan, 84, of Elk Garden, passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 1998, in Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born Aug. 23, 1913, in Elk Garden, he was a son of the late Milton and Anna (Shillingburg) Dunithan.
Mr. Dunithan was a retired coal miner and a veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Josephine Long, and one son, James Dunithan.
Surviving are one son, Melvin R. "Mick" Dunithan, Friendsville, Md.; one daughter, Linda North, Manassas, Va.; one brother, Lawrence Dunithan, Elk Garden; four sisters, Mae Benson, Bayard, W.Va., Ruby Dunithan, Rosalie Dunithan and M. Virginia Dawson, all of Elk Garden; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, Kitzmiller, Md.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
