PAUL D. TIMBROOK
ROMNEY, W.Va. - Paul Dudley Timbrook, 77, of Romney, died July 7, 1999, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 7, 1921, in Hampshire County, a son of Faye Hogbin Timbrook, Winchester, Va., and the late Hoy Dudley Timbrook. He was also preceded in death by one niece.
Mr. Timbrook retired from the Maintenance Department of the West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and Blind in 1984.
He was a member of the Branch Mountain United Methodist Church, Three Churches, the Jersey Mountain Ruritan Club, and the V.F.W. Wappocoma Post #1101, Romney. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Anna Lee (Saville) Timbrook; two daughters, Ellen Anthony and husband, Robert, Winchester, Joyce Baker and husband, William "Sonny," Romney; three brothers, Robert Timbrook and Leo Timbrook, both of Winchester, Joseph Timbrook and wife, Wilda, Augusta; one sister, Katheryn Nail and husband, Melvin, Winchester; two granddaughters, Teresa Lowe and husband, Lee, Berlin, Md., Denise Anthony, Winchester; five nieces; and two nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral will be Saturday, July 10, at 11 a.m. at the Shaffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Peters officiating.
Interment will be in Branch Mountain Methodist cemetery, Three Churches. Military graveside rites will be accorded by the Veterans Organizations of Hampshire County.
BREANNA L. SANCHEZ
ROMNEY, W.Va. - Breanna Lynn Sanchez, 15, of Romney, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1999, at Memorial Hospital.
Born on April 11, 1984, in Fairfield, Calif., she was the daughter of Danny N., II, and Kathy L. (Peterson) Bartges.
Breanna was a sophomore at Hampshire High School, a member of the class of 2002. She played the flute in the Hampshire High School Band.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by maternal grandparents, Linda and Everett Glasco, Hale, Mich., and Joel and Paula Peterson, Flint, Mich.; Paternal grandparents, Tom and Sierra Curran, Burlington, W.Va., and Danny and Susie Bartges, Goose Creek, S.C.; many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who loved her very much.
The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, from 10 a.m. till 12 p.m.
A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation starting at 12 p.m. with the Rev. Calvin McCutcheon, officiating.
At the family's request the body was cremated and interment will be at a later date.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Bobby Hott Memorial Scholarship Fund, and/or the Heath Kline Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o The Bank of Romney, P.O. Box 876, Romney, WV.

ROBERT W. WILSON
MOOREFIELD, W.Va. - Robert Weldon Wilson, 71, of Central Avenue, Moorefield, passed away Thursday evening, Nov. 4, 1999, at his residence.
Born Sept. 23, 1928, in Luke, he was the son of Howard W. Wilson, of Baker, W.Va., and the late Bertha (Sulser) Wilson.
Mr. Wilson was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean Conflict, he was a member of the V.F.W. Post 9606, a member of the American Legion Post 64, a member of the Moorefield Lodge 29 A.F. and A.M., and was retired from the American Woodmark Corporation after 32 years of service.
Surviving in addition to his father, are his wife, Lila E. "Betty" (Crane) Wilson; one son, E. Scott Wilson, of Moorefield; five daughters, Jeanne Wilson, of Falls Church, Va., Barbara Bryant, of Martinsburg, W.Va., Deanna Wilson, of Alexandria, Va., Susan Johnson, of Kearneysville, W.Va., and Pamela Wilson, of Franklin, W.Va.; one sister, Louise Wilson Stewart, of Winchester, Va.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Duffey Memorial United Methodist Church, in Moorefield with the Pastor Wade Sirk, officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church's fellowship hall. At Mr. Wilson's request he has been cremated.

KATHERINE L. WEESE
MOOREFIELD, W.Va. - Katherine Leatherman Weese, 82, of Moorefield, formerly of Old Fields, passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 1999, at the residence of her daughter in New Hope, Va.
Born Oct. 12, 1916, in Old Fields, she was a daughter of the late Albert R. and Amber (Taylor) Leatherman. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Paige W. Weese; her daughter, Linda Weese King; one brother, John R. Leathreman; and one sister, Helen Leatherman.
Mrs. Weese was retired from the American Woodmark Corp. and was a member of the Moorefield Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Richard William Weese and wife Maria, Charles Town, and John Leatherman Weese, Shepherdstown; son-in-law, Roger K. King, Glen Allen, Va.; one daughter, Nancy Weese Nolen and husband Frank, New Hope, Va.; one brother, George T. Leatherman II, Old Fields; grandchildren, Jill Weese Hollis, Kelly Weese Collins, Tracy A. Weese, Rhonda K. Van Huss, Amber Anne Nolen, John David Nolen, William Taylor Nolen and Benjamin Wesley Weese; and great-grandchildren, her namesake, Mary Katherine "Katie" Weese, B. Wesley Weese, Kent Van Huss and Nate Van Huss.
Friends may call at the Fraley Funeral Home, Moorefield, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Moorefield Presbyterian Church, Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Bruce Macbeth officiating.
Mrs. Weese will be taken to the church one hour prior to the time of services.
Pallbearers will be John David Nolen, William Taylor Nolen, Benjamin Wesley Weese, Thomas Hollis Jr., Robert C. Collins, William Brian Van Huss, Roger K. King and Frank W. Nolen.

WILLIAM H. SANDY
RIDGELEY, W.Va. - William H. Sandy, 78, of Rt. 1, Ridgeley, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 1999, at his home.
Born Aug. 24, 1921, in Houston Run, he was the son of the late John and Malissia (Brooks) Sandy. He also was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy (Wolfe) Sandy.
Mr. Sandy was a retired crane operator at McLouth Steel Mill. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Ridgeley, the Knights of Columbus Council 5450, and the American Legion, Fort Cumberland Post 1411.
Surviving are his six children, four sons, John Sandy and wife Anna, Charlotte, N.C., Rollis Sandy and wife Jackie, Rockwood, Mich., David Sandy and wife Beth, Monroe, Mich., Robert Sandy and wife, Sherrie, Romulus, Mich.; two daughters, Mary Ann Livingood and husband, Eric, Cumberland, Barbara J. McGee and husband Kelly, Ridgeley; three brothers, Alexander Sandy, Little Birch, Orville Sandy, N.C., and John Sandy, Mount Hope; five sisters, Arietta Barker, Webster Springs, Plessie Cochran, W.Va., Roxie Propst, Foulton, Mo., Margaret Davis, Mount Hope, and Amy Ware, Sutton,; 18 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Father James J. Chetock as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard.
JOANN R. WELCH
KEYSER, W.Va. - JoAnn R. Welch, 74, a resident of the Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home, formerly of 124 S. Water St., Keyser, died Monday, Nov. 29, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
Born Nov. 22, 1925, in Painesville, Ohio, she was a daughter of Zerna F. (Smith) Kessel Taliaferro of Heartland of Keyser, and the late Harold T. Kessel. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Carl B. Welch Jr., on Oct. 10, 1985.
Mrs. Welch was a 1943 graduate of Keyser High School. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Keyser; Alkire Chapter 10, Order of the Eastern Star, Keyser; and the Woodmen of the World, Lodge 6081, Keyser.
Surviving are her twin brother, Joseph W. Kessel and wife Margaret, Keyser; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen (Welch) Harrison, Cumberland; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Sue Culbertson Jarrett officiating.
