NORMA M. PAUGH
MOUNT STORM, W.Va. - Norma Mae Paugh, 78, of Mount Storm, died Friday, August 13, 1999 at her residence. Born March 30, 1921, in Shallmar, Md., she was a daughter of the late Howard and Anna (Boyce) Lions. She was preceded in death by her husband James "Bogus" Paugh.
She is survived by five sons, Donald Paugh, Michael Paugh, both of Elk Garden, Robert Paugh, Larry Paugh, both of Mount Storm, Clyde Paugh, of New Creek; four daughters, Peggy Rohrbaugh, of Goshen, Ind., Barbara Cianelli, Marianna, Pa., Brenda Bercosky, Marianna, Pa., Cindy Duckworth, Elk Garden; one brother, Howard Lions, Morgantown; one sister, Birdie Brooks, Kitzmiller, Md.; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Paugh is at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home in Kitzmiller, Md., where friends will be received on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Wesley Georg and Rev. Leslie Hipp officiating. Interment will be in Kalbaugh cemetery in Elk Garden. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Grant County Hospice.
JOSEPHINE B. MCKEEVER
ROMNEY, W.Va. - Josephine Brooke McKeever, 86, of Romney, died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, at the Long Term Care Unit at Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney.
Born May 26, 1912, in Romney, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Arthur N. and Katie (Keller) McKeever. She also was preceded in death by one sister, Martha McKeever, in 1967.
Miss McKeever began her career in 1931 at Romney Elementary, where she taught third grade for 41 years until her retirement in 1972.
She was a graduate of Romney High School, received her BA degree from Shepherd College and her Master's degree from West Virginia University. She was a member of the Hampshire County Retired Teachers Association.
On May 29, 1998, Miss McKeever was inducted into the HCEA Hall of Fame.
She was well-known as a musician. She taught piano and provided dinner music at a local restaurant, the Coire Taigh.
Being a life-long member of the Romney Presbyterian Church, she was the organist for many years. She also played at the Indian Heights Chapel from time to time.
Miss McKeever enjoyed traveling in the U.S. and abroad.
Surviving are cousins in Romney, Berkeley Springs and Wardensville, and Frostburg and LaVale, Md.
The family will receive friends at the Romney Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 1 to 2 p.m.
The funeral will follow visitation at 2 p.m. with Dr. John S. Franklin officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Romney Presbyterian Church.
The Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, is in charge of arrangements.
ROBERT A. PARRISH
ELK GARDEN, W.Va. - Robert "Robbie" Anthony Parrish, 6, went from the arms of his earthly father into the arms of his heavenly father on Monday, Aug. 16, 1999 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
He fought a hardy battle in his few years, against cancer. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Milton McLaughlin.
Born Jan. 5, 1993, in Oakland, Md. Robbie is survived by his father, Carroll Parrish and mother Kimberly McLaughlin; his half-brothers, Samuel Parrish, Harmon, and Christopher Kaminsky, New Creek; also surviving is his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Matthews, Baltimore; paternal grandparents, Lee and Dora Parrish, Mount Storm; aunt and uncle, Carla and Jeremy Kidwell, of Points, Cheryl and Harold George, and cousin Jessica, of Moorefield; his uncles, Ricky McLaughlin and Shawn McLaughlin; his aunts, Samantha McLaughlin, Baltimore; and cousins, Koty, Dustin and Taylor McLaughlin.
Friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, Kitzmiller, on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Donald E. Marple officiating. Interment will be in the Schwinabart cemetery, Elk Garden.

JOANN E. MCLAUGHLIN
KEYSER, W.Va. - Joann E. McLaughlin, 71, of 29 Virginia St., Keyser, died Wednesday, April 28, 1999, at the home of her daughter in Mechanicsville, Va.
Born on March 20, 1928, at Frostburg, Md., she was a daughter of the late John H. and Eva J. (Logsdon) Arnold. She also was preceded in death by her husband, John H. McLaughlin, on Feb. 8, 1971.
Mrs. McLaughlin was retired as a lab technician in quality control with the former Anchor Glass Company, Keyser. She was a 1946 graduate of Keyser High School and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Keyser.
Surviving are three daughters, Linda McLaughlin, Leesville, S.C., Lana Allen, Bedford, Pa., June Cappello, Mechanicsville; one son, John H. McLaughlin, Keyser; two brothers, John Arnold and George Arnold, both of Keyser; four grandchildren, Josh McLaughlin, Ashley McLaughlin, Zack Cappello, Jessie Cappello; and a close friend, Arnold Sirbaugh, Keyser.
Friends may call at the Rotruck-Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Terry Woodard officiating.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
WAYNE C. POISAL
KEYSER, W.Va. - Wayne Crawford Poisal, 66, of Keyser, died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, at University of Maryland Shock Trauma Unit, Baltimore.
Born May 27, 1933, in Baltimore, he was reared by his aunt Jennie Poisal and an aunt and uncle Robert and Elizabeth Poisal, in Pikesville.
Mr. Poisal retired as a quality control specialist for Chicago Metallic, Inc. He attended McDonagh Academy in Baltimore. A very religious and devout Christian, he was a member of the Knobley Road Baptist Church, where was a church trustee, the Glen Burnie V.F.W., American Legion, and a member of the Christian Businessmen's Association.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth (Zurek) Poisal; two sons, John R. Poisal and wife, Holly, Aberdeen, Wash., William H. Warfel and wife, Deana, Glen Burnie; three daughters, Jennifer E. Whitted and husband, Charles, Pasadena, Md.; Roxanne G. Richardson and husband, John, Haquiam, Wash., Susan M. Statler and husband, William, Burlington; 12 grandchildren, Robby, Brandon, Christopher, Billy, David, Erik, Samantha, Christian, Michaela, Matthew, Domenica, and Dustin; one brother, Robert Poisal and wife, Georgine, NC; half brother, Dave Poisal; and one sister, Penny Piaz and husband, Al, Great Falls, Va.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., Cresaptown, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Walker, officiating.
Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap.
Military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard.
CHARLES W. MCNEILL
KEYSER, W.Va. - Charles W. McNeill, 74, of Route 6, Box 6036 (Villa Street), Keyser, died Saturday, April 17, 1999, at the Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born on Nov. 28, 1924, at Keyser, he was a son of the late George C. and Nellie Elizabeth (Likin) McNeill.
Mr. McNeill was a retired self-employed auto body mechanic and owned and operated McNeill's Auto Sales in Keyser for 38 years. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater of Operations and was a veteran of the Battle of the Bulge. He was also a life member of the Nancy Hanks Post #3518, V.F.W., Keyser, and the Mill Creek Country Club.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis R. (O'Brien) McNeill; one son, George W. McNeill and wife, Cheryl, Keyser; three daughters, Kathleen Canfield and husband, Edward, Burlington, N.C., Peggy McNeill, Keyser, Christina Amtower and husband, Jerry, Fountain; one sister, Jean Clay and husband, Richard "Sonny" Clay, Keyser; two grandchildren, Matthew Amtower, Fountain, Shannon Norton, Woodbridge, Va.; two great-grandchildren, Kelsi Nicole Norton and Brooke Danielle Norton, both of Woodbridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, private family visitation and services will be conducted on Monday at the Rotruck-Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, with Father Ivan M. Lebar, T.O.R., officiating.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
