EUGENIA R. HINEBAUGH
PIEDMONT, W.Va. - Eugenia Ruth Hinebaugh, 79, of 39 Jones St., Piedmont, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at the Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born April 2, 1920, at Beryl, she was a daughter of the late Claude A. and Mary S. (Portizler) Wilt. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Bella Farris.
Mrs. Hinebaugh was a homemaker. She was of the Methodist faith. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Kelly Mansfield Post #52, and the Daughters of America.
She is survived by her husband, William Hinebaugh; one daughter, Flora Elaine Johnson, Chester, Va.; one brother, Guthrie Wilt, Salem, N.J.; one grandson, Mark Allan Johnson, Amelia, Va.; one granddaughter, Tracy Lynn Johnson, Chester, Va.; a great-granddaughter, Nikki Johnson; and a niece, Brenda Long, Erie, Pa.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Friday, April 16, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home Chapel on Saturday, April 17, at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Sumner D. Sawyer.
Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
STANLEY C. LLEWELLYN
GREAT CACAPON, W.Va. - Stanley C. Llewellyn, 81, of Great Cacapon, died Thursday, June 3, 1999, at the Veterans Medical Center, Washington, D.C.
Born Nov. 17, 1917, in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of the late Stanely C. Llewellyn and Lillian (Wilkinson) Llewellyn. He also was preceded in death by four sisters, Ethel Barrett, Edith Pfeiffer, Marion Llewellyn and Henrietta Llewellyn; and three brothers, Virgil, John and Robert Llewellyn.
Mr. Llewellyn was employed at the Celanese Corp, formerly of Cumberland. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the 369th Medical Battalion as a surgical technician.
Surviving are two sisters-in-law, Mary Llewellyn and Margaret Llewellyn, both of Cumberland; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at the Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap, Cumberland, on Wednesday, June 9, 1999, at 2 p.m.
The Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 106 S. Mercer St., Berkeley Springs, W.Va., is in charge of arrangements.
GALEN D. LUDWICK SR.
BURLINGTON, W.Va. - Galen D. Ludwick Sr., 83, of Route 2, Box 59, Burlington, died Tuesday, July 20, 1999, at the home of his brother, Roy E. Ludwick, also of Route 2, Burlington.
Born on March 25, 1916, at Romney, he was a son of the late C. Worth and Emma Jane (Weaver) Ludwick. He also was preceded in death by his first wife, Rebekah (Johnson) Ludwick, on July 2, 1990; and by a brother, Clarence Ludwick.
Mr. Ludwick was a retired fireman with the B&O; Railroad with over 30 years' service, and also owned and operated his own farm. He was a member of the Beaver Run Church of the Brethren, Burlington, where he was a lifetime deacon. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and served as a "Hunger Fighter" for a year in China during the reconstruction period after the war was over.
Surviving are his wife, Clara Isabelle (Veach) Ludwick; three sons, Robert W. Ludwick, Front Royal, Va., Pastor G. Daniel Ludwick, Franklin, Roger M. Ludwick, Cumberland, Md.; three daughters, Sydney L. Brown, Cumberland, Kathryn R. Ludwick, Burlington, E. Linette Triplett, Morgantown; two brothers, Roy E. Ludwick, Burlington, Howard C. Ludwick, Akron, Ohio; two sisters, Edna Ott, Bridgewater, Va., Ruth Statler, Burlington; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Beaver Run Church of the Brethren on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Preston J. Miller officiating. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services.
ELMER F. LIKENS
GORMANIA, W.Va. - Elmer F. Likens, 98, of Rt. 1 Gormania, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at the Cortland Acres Nursing Home, Thomas.
Born on Aug. 11, 1901, in Burlington, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Rebecca (Rinker) Likens. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Rebecca Kathern (Leatherman) Likens on May 6, 1981; four brothers, Frank, Ezra, Edward and Arthur Likens; and two sisters, Clellia Elkins and Amanda Ferrebee.
Mr. Likens was a retired timberman and was formerly employed with the Harco Lumber Company, Oakland, Md. He was a member of the Fairview Church of the Brethren, Oakland.
Surviving are two daughters, Opal A. Rotruck and husband Raymond, New Creek, and Kathern L. Knotts and husband Dan, Oakland; five grandchildren, Daniel, Douglas and Dennis Knotts and Alan and Carolyn Rotruck; and two great-grandchildren, Janell and Michelle Knotts.

LUCY B. LIZER
LYMAN, S.C. - Lucy Brakeall Lizer, 91, of 13 Groce Road, Lyman, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1999, at Camp Care of Inman.
She was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Morse) Brakeall. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Lizer; and two brothers, James and Willard.
Surviving are two daughters, Joann Fones, Lyman, and Mary Waters, Rockville, Md.; two sons, John Lizer, Valrico, Fla., and Eugene Lizer, Annapolis, Md.; one sister, Sue Davis, Martinsburg, W.Va.; and four brothers, Thomas Brakeall, Rising Sun, Md., Charles Brakeall, Cumberland, the Rev. Ben Brakeall and Don Brakeall, both of Ridgeley, W.Va.
A private service was conducted Saturday, Nov. 20, 1999.

DANIEL A. LOGSDON
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Daniel Alan Logsdon, 22, of Jacksonville, formerly of Short Gap, W.Va., died Saturday, March 6, 1999, in Jacksonville.
Born July 29, 1976, in Yuma, Ariz., he was the son of David Alan and Kiyoko (Hanada) Logsdon.
Danny lived in the Short Gap area as a young man and went through the Mineral County School system. He was a U.S. Navy Seaman First Class for two years and worked as an electrician's apprentice in Jacksonville.
In addition to his parents, Danny is survived by one sister, Kristina Ann Logsdon, Morgantown, W.Va.
A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, March 12, at 7 p.m. at the Pinto Mennonite Church, Pinto, Md., with the Rev. Sven Miller officiating.
Private interment services will be held at Pinto Mennonite cemetery.
HARVEY W. "TERRY" LARGENT JR.
AUGUSTA, W.Va. - Harvey Willard "Terry" Largent Jr., 39, of Augusta, died Wednesday, July 14, 1999, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
He was born June 21, 1960, in Romney, a son of Harvey W. Largent Sr. and Hazel M. Landis Largent of Augusta.
Mr. Largent was share-owner and truck driver of Harvey W. Largent & Sons Inc., Augusta.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Kim (Haggerty) Largent, whom he married
on May 2, 1987; a daughter, Kasie Largent, at home; a son, Harvey "T.J." Largent III, at home; a brother, Larry Largent and wife, Kathy, Augusta; two sisters, Sharon Pancione and husband, Joe Jr., Manassas, Va., Patricia Largent, Romney; five nephews and two nieces.
Friends will be received at the McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home Saturday, July 17, 1999, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Dolan officiating.
