MAXINE MAE BEAN
ROMNEY, W.Va. - Maxine Mae Bean, 73, of Romney, died Monday, Jan. 25, 1999, at Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney.
She was born on June 7, 1925, in Hardy County, the daughter of the late Sam and Anna Elizabeth (Davidson) Constable. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde M. Bean, on Sept. 25, 1960.

Mrs. Bean had served the public as a waitress all her life in Romney. She worked at the Green Palm, The Carlton and the Pioneer restaurants. She was a member of the Romney Christian Church, Romney.

Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Kay Haslacker, Shanks, Marilyn Ann 'Pam' Barnes, Romney; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the Romney Christian Church on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, at 1 p.m. Mrs. Bean's body will be taken to the church at noon to lie in state for one hour before the service. Minister Dewitt Clinton will officiate.

Interment will be in Indian Mound cemetery, Romney.

RUTH CHAMBERS
KEYSER, W.Va. - Ruth Blackman Finnell Chambers, 86, died April 27, 1999, at the Ginger Cove Retirement Community Health Care Center.
Born in Keyser, Mrs. Chambers was the daughter of the late Lena Blackman and Charles Newton Finnell. Her husband, Livingston Hunter Chambers, a mathematics professor at the U.S. Naval Academy, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Chambers is survived by a sister*in*law, Mrs. Robert Finnell, Keyser; three nephews, Thomas Finnell, Keyser; Charles Finnell, Vienna, Va.; Robert Finnell, Fairfax, Va., and one niece, Mary Finnell Holderby, Keyser.

Among Mrs. Chambers interests were the Auxiliary of Anne Arundel Hospital, golf, bridge and travel.

Private services and interment were held in National Memorial Park, Falls Church, Va. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Annapolis Unit 110, P.O. Box 4203, Annapolis, MD 21403.

FORREST A. COSNER
KEYSER, W.Va. - Forrest A. "Pap"Cosner, 89, of 469 W. Piedmont St., Keyser, died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at the home of his daughter, Rebecca Bacorn.
Born July 26, 1909, at Bismark, W.Va., he was a son of the late Wilbur and Rebecca (Rinker) Cosner. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine L. (Nichol) Cosner, on May 1, 1988; a daughter, Kathleen Ann Sanders, on June 14, 1987; one brother, Troy Cosner; one sister, Blanche Day; and one half sister, Delores Foreman.

Mr. Cosner was retired as a shift foreman in the boiler house with the Celanese Amcelle Plant. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Keyser; Davis Lodge 51 AF & AM, Keyser; Scottish Rite Bodies, Wheeling; and the Springfield Ruritan Club. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. His hobbies and interests included hunting, gardening and spending time with his family. Mr. Cosner also was a well-known carpenter throughout the area.

Surviving are one son, Forrest D. Cosner and wife Dottie, Keyser; three daughters, Nancy L. Corbin and Rebecca "Becky"Bacorn and husband Wayne, all of Keyser, and Sadie Kay Lymburner and husband Charlie, Williamsville, N.Y.; one brother, Darrell Cosner, Farmingdale, Ohio; one sister, Dorwina Cosner, Elkins, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren, J.D. Corbin, Mary Kaye Rizer, Becky Moore, Charles Lymburner, Nichole Lymburner, Michael Corbin, Nancy Jo Williams, Pam Donlin, Tisha Cosner and Forrest Lymburner; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Rotruck-Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Stotler and the Rev. Sue Culbertson Jarrett officiating.

Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.

Davis Lodge 51 AF & AM will accord Masonic graveside rites.

EDNA D. COLLINS
RIDGELEY, W.Va. - Edna Dale Collins, 89, of Dawn View Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Ridgeley, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at the nursing home.

Born Jan. 3, 1910, in Kirby, she was the daughter of the late William and Amanda Catherine (Walker) Combs. She also was preceded in death by her husband, John Hoffman Collins; one daughter, Jeanne Beck; three brothers, Woodrow Combs, Roy Charles Ferman, and Thomas Combs; and one sister, Blanche Hare.

Mrs. Collins was a member of the Pinto Mennonite Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Kathryn Moreland, Ridgeley; two sons*in*law, Ray Moreland, Ridgeley, and Ronald Beck, Baltimore. Md.; seven grandchildren, David Moreland, Brenda Moreland, Benjamin Moreland, Timothy Moreland, Sharon Vincent, Sandra Brewer, and Steven Beck; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at the Pinto Mennonite Church with the Pastor Lester T. Hershey officiating. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in the Pinto Mennonite cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Pinto Mennonite Church Mission Fund.

ROSEANN S. BOEHMES
KEYSER, W.Va. - Roseann Shearer Boehmes, 88, of 36 B St., Keyser, died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999, at the Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.

Born Nov. 23, 1911, in Midland, Md., she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Schombert) Shearer. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Harold M. Boehmes on Oct. 25, 1972; one son, Ronald E. Boehmes; and one brother, George Shearer.

Mrs. Boehmes was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Keyser, and a Sunday school teacher of the Cradle Roll Department for 62 years, the Keyser Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and a graduate of Central High School, Lonaconing.

Surviving are two sons, Paul Boehmes and wife Anna Lee, and Richard Boehmes and wife Diane, both of Keyser; three grandchildren, Megan, Monica and Lowell Boehmes; two great-grandchildren, Terra and Kerry Simmons; one brother, Francis Shearer, Cresaptown, Md.; and one sister, Elaine O'Conner, Baltimore. Md.

Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Sue Culbertson Jarrett officiating.

Interment will be in the Queens Point cemetery, Keyser.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church, 30 South Mineral St., Keyser, WV 26726.

VIRGINIA D. COLLINS
ROMNEY, W.Va. - Virginia D. Collins, 81, of Romney, died Sunday, May 2, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
She was born May 18, 1918, in Green Spring, a daughter of the late Harry E. and Lucy (Haines) Duckworth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm B. Collins, in 1971; her foster parents, Ray and May Hubbs; a half-brother, Mike Duckworth; a half-sister, Helen Seeders.

Mrs. Collins was formerly an elementary school teacher in Fayette County, and later retired as an analyst from the CIA.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Romney, the American Baptist Women Ministries, and the Hampshire County Helping Hands Society.

She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth D. Wolford, Romney; four half-sisters, Hazel McBride, Bruceton Mills, Thelma Puffinburger, Green Spring, Sue Beam, Springfield, Betty Raney, Oklahoma City, Okla.; two half-brothers, Raymond Duckworth and Oliver "Sam" Duckworth, both of Green Spring; a step-sister, Mildred Light, Ridgeley; and a foster sister, Dorothy Hayhurst, Philippi.

The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, May 4, at 10:30 a.m. at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, with the Rev. Frank Meadows officiating.

Interment will be in the Arlington National cemetery, Arlington, Va.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Romney, or to the Gideon Memorial Bibles, Hampshire Camp, P.O. Box 240, Romney, WV 26757.
