Juneau Octavie Wills, 82, of Baisden, WV, passed away Monday, December 1, 2003 at her residence.
Born September 21, 1921 at Baisden, WV, she was the daughter of the late Montana and Gracie Cline Chapman.
Mrs. Wills was a homemaker and a member of the Old Regular Rosa Baptist Church, she loved to quilt, bake and sew. She was a life time member of the Honeysuckle Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband; Ora Scarberry, 2 sisters; Irene Chapman, Josie Justice, 3 brothers; Denver Chapman and Racy Chapman.
Survivors include 1 brother; Montana (Maple) Chapman of Baisden, WV, and she leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends called at the Old Regular Rosa Baptist Church Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services were conducted at the church Thursday, December 4, 2003 at 1 p.m. with the Elders Hubert Glandon, Richard Staton and Hobart Hamilton officiating. Burial followed at the Chapman Family Cemetery at Baisden, WV. Pallbearers were Eddie, Douglas and Joshua Chapman, Andreau Chapman Morgan, Warren and Madison Brown. Honorary pallbearers were Winston, Simon, Mervil and Huey Perry.

Gladys Puett
February 2, 1929 - December 8, 2003

Gladys Geneva Puett, 74, of Coal Mountain, WV, passed away December 8, 2003 at her residence.
Born February 2, 1929 at Coal Mountain, WV, the daughter of the late Rev. Grat and Dottie Cook Hatfield.
Mrs. Puett was a homemaker and a member of the Coal Mountain Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by 1 brother; Bernard Hatfield and 1 sister; Odessa Ferguson.
Survivors include her husband; Carl Edward "Ed" Puett of Coal Mountain, 2 sons; Butch (Donna) Puett of Coal Mountain, WV, Kirby Puett of Coal Mountain, WV, 5 grandchildren; Chuck (Roxanne) Puett, Justin, Savannah, Jade and Elijah Puett all of Coal Mountain, WV, 1 great granddaughter; Carly Puett of Coal Mountain, WV, 1 brother; Drewey Hatfield of Coal Mountain, WV and 1 sister; Dolly (Tommy) Bandy of Andover, Va. She leaves behind a host of family and friends.
Friends called at the Coal Mountain Freewill Baptist Church Wednesday evening, December 10, 2003 at 6 p.m. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, December 11, 2003 at 1 p.m. at the church with Rev. James Ellis officiating, Burial followed at the Hatfield Cemetery at Coal Mountain, WV. Pallbearers were Barry and Terry Bandy, Greg Hatfield, Ronald Cline, David and Kirk Jordan. Gene Mullins was a honorary pallbearer.

TRILBA PERRY
NOVEMBER 5, 1946 - DECEMBER 10, 2003

Trilba Harrison Perry, 57, of Justice, WV, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born November 5, 1946 at Gilbert, WV, the daughter of the late James and Elva Ferguson Harrison.
Mrs. Perry was a homemaker and was a member of the Wharncliffe Church of God.
She was preceded in death by 2 husbands; Troy Hatfield and Simon Browning, 1 son; Rayburn Hatfield.
Survivors include her husband; Rev. Larry Perry of Justice, WV, 1 son; Nathan (Donna) Hatfield of Gilbert, WV, 4 daughters; Beverly Hatfield of Gilbert, WV, Becky (David) Hatfield of Wharncliffe, WV, Carol (Michael) Colangelo of Wharncliffe, WV, Janella (Joe) Trent of Gilbert, WV, 4 step sons, 4 step daughters, 2 brothers; David (Charlotte) Harrison of Wharncliffe, WV, Fred (Oma Mae) Harrison of Brooksville, Fl, 1 sister; Betty Scarberry of Gilbert, WV, 12 grandchildren; Cody and Tyler Hatfield of Wharncliffe, WV, Mike, Travis and Sarah Colangelo of Wharncliffe, WV, Josh, Dillion and Jacob Trent of Gilbert, WV, Amanda, Christopher, Raeann and Wesley Hatfield of Gilbert, WV. She leaves behind a host of family and friends.
Friends called at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert, WV, Friday evening December 12, 2003 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services were conducted at the chapel Saturday, December 13, 2003 at 1 p.m. with the Revs. Eddie Compton and Gary Starr officiating. Burial followed at the Hatfield Cemetery at Hampden, WV. Family and friends served as pallbearers.

CLYDE CLINE
MARCH 13, 1924 - DECEMBER 12, 2003

Clyde Cline, 79, of Mohawk, WV, passed away Friday, December 12, 2003 at Golden Harvest Nursing Home, Welch, WV.
Born March 13, 1924 at Mohawk, WV, the son of the late Robert "Bob" and Margaret Cline.
Mr. Cline was a retired self employed Coal Truck Operator for 30 years for Dorothy Cline Trucking. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Old Regular Baptist Church of Bull Creek, WV. He leaves behind a host of family and friends who will miss him very much.
Mr. Cline was preceded in death by his wonderful and loving wife of 50 years; Dorothy Cline, 1 grandson; Joseph Scott Cline, 2 brothers; Wendell and Harold Cline, 1 sister; Birchie Branch.
Survivors include 3 sons; Robert "Bobby" (Brenda) Cline of Iaeger, WV, Steve Cline of Mohawk, WV, Harold "Bo" (Tresa) Cline of Mohawk, WV, 3 daughters; Judy (William) Profit of Panther, WV, Lynn (Ricky) Cline of Garrett, Indiana, Carol (Lewis) Crouch of Kingsport, TN, , 5 brothers; Lawerence Cline of Panther, WV, Rex Cline of Mohawk, WV, Darrell Cline of Mohawk, WV, George "Jay" Cline of Mohawk, WV, Gordon Cline of Tazewell, Va, 2 sisters; Betty Cline of Monore County, Florence Lester of Gilbert, WV, 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
Friends called at the Mt. Zion Old Regular Baptist Church at Bull Creek, WV, Sunday and Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at 11 a.m. with the Elders Kermit Lester Herbert Hurley, Roy Lester, George Baker and John R. Justice officiating. Burial followed at the Stepp Cemetery at Bull Creek, WV.

BERTHA KENNEDY
OCTOBER 17, 1908 - DECEMBER 13, 2003

Bertha Mae Kennedy, 95, of Coal Mountain, WV, passed away at her residence, Saturday, December 13, 2003.
Born October 17, 1908 at War Eagle, WV, the daughter of the late Tom Wallace and Nancy Jane Browning Wallace.
Mrs. Kennedy was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Emory Kennedy, 1 daughter; Belva Stokes, 4 brothers; Richard, Bob, George and Johnny Wallace, 4 sisters; Edna Wallace, Bessie, Dicie and Ida Hatfield.
Survivors include 1 daughter; Corrine Davis of Oceana, WV, 2 sons; French Kennedy of North Carolina, Virgil Kennedy of Coal Mountain, WV, 12 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, 1 stepson; Berthel Kennedy of Hanover, WV, 1 brother; Jimmy Wallace of Coal Mountain, WV and a special friend; Kathleen "Kathy" Hatfield.
Friends called at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert, WV, Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services were conducted at the chapel Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at 1 p.m. with the Revs. Larry Morgan and Ravin Kenneda officiating. Burial followed at the Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Grandsons served as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were great grandsons.

Elma Lester, 68, of Baisden, WV, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, WV.
Born December 27, 1934 at Baisden, WV, the daughter of the late Lee Sr. and Pearl Murphy Lester.
Miss. Lester was a homemaker and of the Protestant Faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Echol and Elner Lester, 1 sister; Thelma Cline.
Survivors include 3 brothers; Parker (Edith), Lee Jr. (Mable) and Dexter (Christine) Lester all of Baisden, WV, 1 sister; Alma (Thomas) Trent of Baisden, WV, 1 special uncle; Brooks Murphy of Baisden, WV, and she leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends called at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert, WV, Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services were conducted at the Chapel Friday, November 7, 2003 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jonas Trent officiating. Burial followed at the Lester Family Cemetery at Baisden, WV. Pallbearers were Luke Dean, Stevie Dotson, Marvin Joe Bradford, Bill Ellis, Randall Robinette, Chad, Jamey and Norman Lester.

MINNIE CLINE
NOVEMBER 22, 1918 - DECEMBER 18, 2003

Minnie Cline, 85, of Hanover, WV, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2003 at Williamson Memorial Hospital.
Born November 22, 1918 at Logan, WV, the daughter of the late Hark "Bud" and Perlie Fry Mullins.
Mrs. Cline was a homemaker and attended the Hanover Tabernacle Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Woodrow Cline, 2 sons; Harlen Alvin Cline, and a stillborn, 4 brothers; Ed, Arthur, Roosevelt "Buddy" and Burgess Mullins.
Survivors include 1 son; Jessie (Ollie) Cline of Hanover, WV, 3 daughters; Shirley (Jack) Adkins of Hanover, WV, Corby Cline of Hanover, WV, Margie Marie Cline of Hanover, WV, she raised 1 child; Leah Mae "Sue" Morgan of Hanover, WV, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren, 2 brothers; Willie "Buster" Fry of Lyburn, WV, Arnold (Josephine) Mullins of Chapmanville, WV, 2 sisters; Virgie (Robert) Gillenwater of Gallipolis, OH, Ida Hagerman of Marion, OH, a special dog; Lady, also a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends called at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert, WV, Saturday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, December 21, 2003 at 1 p.m. at the Chapel with the Rev. Alan Click officiating. Burial followed at the Davis Cemetery at Justice, WV. Grandsons and great grandsons served as pallbearers.

ARBUTIS MORGAN
AUGUST 13, 1937 - DECEMBER 23, 2003

Arbutis B. Morgan, 66, of Simon, WV, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at Charleston Area Medical Center. Born August 13, 1937 at Longbranch, WV, the daughter of Dicie Kennedy and the late Verner Cline.
Miss. Morgan was a homemaker and a member of the Apostolic House of Faith.
She was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Bobby, Freddy and Buel Cline, 1 sister; Brenda Cline, 2 sons; Earmon and Virgus Morgan.Survivors include her mother; Dicie Cline of Simon, WV, 1 son; Christopher (Heather) Morgan of Lynco, WV, 2 daughters; Jolena Morgan of Lynco, WV, Sharon (Bobby) Coffey of Lynco, WV, 8 grandchildren; Blake, Courtney, Casey, Corey and Megan Morgan, Tracy, Austin, and Jennifer Coffey, 7 sisters; Geneva Belcher, Roberta (Ronald) Kenneda, Linda Sue (James) Toler, Margene Sowards, Rose Carol (Donald) Kenneda and Glenda Gay Morgan all of Simon, WV, Lisa (Chris) Blankenship of Northsprings, WV, she leaves behind a host of family and friends.
Friends called at the Apostolic House of Faith Friday and Saturday evening at 6 p.m. Funeral services were conducted at the church Sunday, December 28, 2003 at 1 p.m. with the Revs. Nolan Adams and Gary Toler. Burial followed at the Milty Morgan Cemetery at Joshfork at Longbranch, WV. Friends served as pallbearers.

Triston O'Ryan Vannatter
Triston O'Ryan Vannatter, stillborn, of Sevierville, Tenn., died Monday, September 15, 2003, at University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, Tenn.
Born to Justin Lance Vannatter of Sevierville, Tenn. and the late Holly Marie Justus, he died as the result of an automobile accident with his mother.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, Arvil Lee Justus; maternal great grandfather, Woodrow Thomas Manuel; and paternal great grandfather, Elder Johnie F. Cline.
Surviving in addition to his father are his maternal grandfather, Jerry Dean Justus of Mohawk, W. Va.; maternal grandmother Ruth Marie Justus of Statesville, NC; paternal grandmother Kim Buchanan of Sevierville, Tenn.; paternal grandfather Clarence C. Vannatter Jr. of Baisden, W. Va.; maternal great grandmother Nellie Ruth Justus Lester of Panther, W. Va.; maternal great step-grandfather Elder David Lester of Panther, W. Va.; maternal great grandmother Mildred June Manuel of Welch, W. Va.; paternal great grandparents Clarence C. Sr. and Othella Mae Vannatter of Wharncliffe, W. Va.; paternal great grandmother Mona Cline of Baisden, W. Va.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 21, 2003, 1 p.m. at Little Dove Old Regular Baptist Church, Guesses Fork, Va. with Elder Danny Hurley, Elder George Thomason, Elder Paul Boggs and Elder Roger Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Justus Family Cemetery at Right Hand Fork, Bull Creek, W. Va.
Friends may call the Little Dove Old Regular Baptist Church at Guesses Fork, Va. Friday and Saturday evening after 6 p.m.
Mounts Funeral Home of Gilbert, W. Va. is in charge of the arrangements.
