Bernard Eugene Rockhold, 79, of Dalzell, S.C.,
passed away Feb. 17, 2010, in South Carolina.
He was born Aug. 20, 1930 in Parkersburg, a
son of the late John Wesley Rockhold Sr. and
Annis Pearl Fetty Rockhold.
Bernard retired from the United States Air
Force.
Surviving is his brother, John W. Rockhold Jr.
of Parkersburg, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
death by three brothers and two sisters.
There will be a visitation at Kimes Funeral
Home, 521 Fifth St., Parkersburg, Wednesday
from 2-6 p.m. Burial will be at the West
Virginia National Cemetery near Grafton.
Joyce Lyons Wilson
Belpre, OH
Joyce Lyons Wilson, of Belpre, Ohio, passed
away Feb. 15, 2010, at the Arcadia Nursing
Center in Coolville.
She was born Feb. 18, 1942 in Parkersburg, a
daughter of the late Francis Theodore (Ted)
and Nora Elson Lyons.
Joyce was of the Protestant Faith, was a
former employee of the Arlan's Department
Store and had owned and operated Joyce's Club
and Bar 28 in Ohio for many years.
Surviving is her husband, Archie L. Wilson;
eight stepchildren and many stepgrandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by brothers, Gifford Lyons and Bobby
Lyons and her sister, Lois Lyons Lattea and a
stepdaughter.
There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m.
Saturday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg. Pastor Jerry Caplinger will
officiate. Burial of her cremated remains will
be at a later date at Sunset Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends and relatives
at the funeral home Saturday beginning at 1
p.m.
Hazel Jean Adams
Parkersburg, WV
Hazel Jean Adams, 71, of Parkersburg passed
away Feb. 12, 2010, at Camden-Clark Memorial
Hospital.
She was born Feb. 27, 1938, at Spencer, W.Va.,
a daughter of Wanda Price Spencer and the late
Oakford B. Spencer.
She was a member of the Landmark Baptist
Church and a homemaker.
In addition to her mother she is survived by
one daughter, Barbara Diane and her husband
Paul Jr. Leasure of Waverly; one brother,
Billy Joe Spencer of Morgantown; four sisters,
Patsy Bell of Belpre, Janet Spencer of
Parkersburg, Helen Sommerville of Reedy and
Ann Still of Parkersburg; five grandchildren,
Michael Leasure (Cherrie), Michele Leasure
(Mark), Jaquetta Deem, Pauline Mitchell
(Daniel) and George Carpenter Jr.; four great-
grandchildren; a special aunt, Freda Marie
Shephard; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father she was preceded in
death by one brother, James Patrick Spencer.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at
Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg, with Pastor Michael Lamb and
Pastor Jerry Caplingerofficiating. Burial will
follow at Spencer Memorial Cemetery, Spencer,
W.Va. The family will receive friends from 6-8
p.m. Monday at the funeral home and from 11
a.m. until time of service Tuesday.
Perry Orden Mollohan
Parkersburg, WV
Perry Orden Mollohan, 84, of Parkersburg,
passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010 at the
home of his daughter, Beverly Full. He was
born March 7, 1925 at Grant Town, W.Va., a son
of the late Oscar Roy and Helen Marie Peck
Mollohan.
He was retired from Perry's Alignment and had
formerly worked for the FMC Corporation. He
was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during
World War II. He enjoyed camping, RVing, and
hunting for mushrooms.
Surviving are two sons, Perry Mollohan Jr.
(Jennifer) and Michael Mollohan (Patricia),
all of Parkersburg; two daughters, Carol
Johnson (David) of Flower Mound, Texas and
Beverly Full (Paul) of Washington, W.Va.; 12
grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
death by his wife, Mary Gwendolyn Hanshew
Mollohan and an infant brother, Herman Roy
Mollohan.
The funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday
at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg, with Pastor Tim Burch
officiating. Entombment will follow at
Evergreen Cemetery in Belpre with military
rites conducted by the Parkersburg American
Legion Post #15.
The visitation will be on Sunday from 5-8 p.m.
and an hour prior to the service on Monday.

Walker, WV
Daniel R. Nesselrotte, 76, of Walker, passed
away Jan. 21, 2010, at the New Lexington, Ohio
Care & Rehab Center.
He was born in Parkersburg, a son of the late
Alpha and Lucy McKitrick Dailey Nesselrotte.
He was a member of the Baptist church on
Market Street and had worked for Sids
Furniture and St. Joseph's Hospital and he
enjoyed going fishing.
Surviving is his wife, Jessie Speece
Nesselrotte; one son, David R. Nesselrotte of
Parkersburg; two daughters, Becky Waggoner
(Randy Joe) and Cindy Walker (Marvin), all of
Walker; six grandchildren, Michael Waggoner,
Dale Nesselrotte, Deanna Sprout, Jennifer
Swiger, Samantha Walker and Nicholas Walker
and a great-grandchild, Kylee Swiger; one
brother, Orville Nesselrotte of Parkersburg;
and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Floyd
and Carriel Nesselrotte; half-brothers, Alfred
and Gale Dailey; sister, Frances Collins and
half-sister, Hazel Conger.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m.
Monday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg, Pastor Thomas Blake will
officiate and burial will follow at Evergreen
North Cemetery. The visitation will be on
Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Hazel Avadine Fluharty
Parkersburg, WV
Hazel Avadine Fluharty, 94, of Parkersburg,
passed away Jan. 20, 2010, in Marietta.
She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of
the late Matt and Maude Meadows Jarvis.
She was of the Methodist faith and was a
homemaker.
Surviving are nephews, Robert Reeder of Vienna
and David Riel of Parkersburg; nieces,
Patricia Wolfe and Donna Jarvis of
Parkersburg; great-nephew, Shane Martin in
Georgia; great-nieces, Chrystal Nestor of
Parkersburg, Tara McFarland of Walker, Angel
Piggott and Debbie Bailey of Parkersburg,
Cynthia Perdue of Charleston, Carolyn Dye and
Marilyn Dye of Akron.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy
Fluharty; brothers, Don, Rex and Hartzell
Jarvis; and sisters, Macel Riel and Chloe Dye
and niece, Shirley Fallon.
The family will hold a memorial service at a
later date. There will be no visitation or
funeral service. Her body will be cremated and
her ashes interred at a later date.
