Margaret Ellen (Marg) Fowler, 54, of
Parkersburg passed away Jan. 28, 2006, at her
home.
She was born March 24, 1951, in Elkins, W.Va.,
a daughter of Dayton Bussey of Parkersburg and
the late Betty Phares Bussey. Marg was a
Protestant by faith and was a 34-year employee
of GE Plastics. She enjoyed bowling, taking
care of her family, soap operas and had a
special love for cats.
Surviving is her husband of 32 years, Bobby
Jack Fowler; one stepson, Bobby Jack Fowler
Jr. and his wife, Denise, of Wheeling; two
stepdaughters, Melissa Blakely of Charleston
and Kimberly Fowler of Vienna; one brother,
Dayton James Bussey Jr. and his wife, Carla,
of Vienna; one sister, Linda Kay Lipson and
her husband, Stephen, of Atlanta and their
children, Eric and Ryan Lipson; and several
nieces and nephews, including a special
nephew, Jason Bussey and his wife, Stephanie,
and their children, Emma and Ella Bussey.
She was preceded in death by a son, Okey
Blaine Bussey.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at
Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg, with the Rev. David Ellenwood
officiating. Entombment will follow at Three
Crosses Mausoleum at Sunset Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday.

Evelyn M. Hall Duley, 86, of Parkersburg
passed away Jan. 25, 2006, at Camden-Clark
Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 19, 1919, at Mt. Zion,
Calhoun County, a daughter of the late
McClellan “Clel” Joseph Hall and Allie Whytsel
Hall Butler.
She was a member of the Rosemar Church of
Christ and was a former employee of O’Ames and
American Viscose.
She had raised over 12 foster children, was a
talented seamstress and enjoyed crochet and
quilting.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry Duley of
Fayetteville, N.C., and Charles Duley of
Bremerton, Wash.; three stepdaughters, Cora
Leona Hudson of Charleston, W.Va., Bonnie
Blout in Texas and Janice Collart of
Cambridge, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; several
great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alanzo Hall
of Sheffield, Ohio, and Paul J. Hall of
Crystal Springs, Ohio; two sisters, Arlene
McDonald, with whom she lived in Parkersburg,
and Irene Conger of Vienna; and several nieces
and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband,
Herbert “Herb” Duley; two brothers, Otis Hall
and Leroy Hall; and two sisters, Zela Riggs
and Relda Hersman.
The funeral service will be conducted 2:30
p.m. Saturday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth
Street, Parkersburg, with Evangelist Wirt Cook
officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen
North Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m.
today at the funeral home.
Arleene H. Willis Watson, 81, of Waverly
passed away at her home on Jan. 25, 2006. She
had recently suffered a massive cerebral
hemorrhage.
She was born Sept. 8, 1924, in Wood County, a
daughter of the late Marion B. and Della
Elizabeth Haines Willis. Arleene was an active
member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church, where
she also sang in the church choir. She was a
homemaker and enjoyed doing crochet.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Kenneth
Watson; one son, Kenneth E. Watson and his
wife, Cheryl, of Walker; one daughter, Barbara
Hickman and her companion, Kevin Roberts, of
Waverly; two grandchildren, Rena Stewart and
her husband, Tim, and their children, Justin
and Brooke Stewart, all of Waverly, and
Christy Perkins and her husband, Matt, and
their children, Austin and Kaitlyn Perkins,
all of Parkersburg; one sister, Etheleene
Linch and her husband, Ray, of Vienna; a
sister-in-law, Glenna Willis of Waverly; and
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank
Willis; and a sister and brother-in-law,
Maxine and George Rowley.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday
at the Pine Grove Baptist Church, Route 2
North, Parkersburg, with Pastor Chuck Ferrell
officiating. Burial will follow at the Willow
Island Cemetery in Pleasants County. Friends
may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday at Kimes Funeral
Home, 521 Fifth Street, Parkersburg, and one
hour prior to the service Saturday at the
church.
Henry O. Kerr, 93, of Rockport, W.Va., went
home to be with his Lord and Savior and to
meet his gone before loved ones. He passed
from this life into eternity from Camden-Clark
Memorial Hospital on Jan. 23, 2006.
Henry was born June 9, 1912, in Wood County, a
son of the late Andrew D. and Edna M. Freeland
Kerr. He was a member of the South Parkersburg
Baptist Church and former 50-year member of
Pond Creek Baptist Church. He was retired from
Sears & Roebuck with 23 years of service. At
one time, he owned and operated the General
Store at Jerry’s Run. He was a voting poll
worker for many years and enjoyed farming.
Surviving are two sons, Larry Kerr and his
wife, Darlene, of Charleston and Roger Kerr
and his wife, Janet, of Rockport; five
grandchildren, Heather Kerr Stewart and
husband, Mark, of Gaithersburg, Md., Sara Kerr
Archer and husband, Joey, of Birmingham, Ala.,
Scott Kerr of Moontownship, Pa., Amanda Kerr
of Rockport and Jessica Kerr of Morgantown,
W.Va.; two great-grandchildren, Lilly Stewart
and Ava Jane Stewart; one brother, Robert Kerr
of Parkersburg; one sister, Susie Lowther of
St. Marys; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda
Anderson Kerr on Nov. 5, 1996; three infant
children; two brothers, Bruce Kerr and Wendell
Kerr; and two sisters, Roberta Anderson and
Annie Kimes.
There will be a celebration of Henry’s life at
1 p.m. Thursday at the South Parkersburg
Baptist Church on Blizzard Drive. Pastors Ed
Rogers, Joe Busch and Bill Brown will
officiate. Burial will follow at Pond Creek
Baptist Church Cemetery at Rockport. Friends
may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at
Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth Street,
Parkersburg, and one hour prior to the service
Thursday at the church.
