Eddy, Ruth M, 92, of St. Mary’s, WV formerly of Paden City, WV died Friday, May 8, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Parkersburg, WV.
Ruth was born June 26, 1916 in Conaway, WV the daughter of James I. and Margaret G. Wilderman Henderson.
She was retired employee of Ochs Sewing Basket, member of Paden City Homemakers Club, Paden City Senior Citizens and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Paden City, WV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard S. Eddy (2005); brother, Donnel Henderson; two sisters, Pauline Fletcher and Phyllis Smith.
Surviving are three sons, James E. Eddy and his wife, Sue of Covington, KY, John I. Eddy and his wife, Linda of Moatsville, WV, Donnel B. Eddy of Glens Falls, NY; three grandsons; three granddaughters and three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 Monday, May 11, 2009 at Jarvis Funeral Homes, Paden City where services will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 with Rev. Darrel Gooden and Rev. Kay Larsen officiating.
Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park, New Martinsville, WV.

Billiter, Phyllis Jean, 75, of Gamble Run Paden City, WV died Monday, May 04, 2009 at her home.
Phyllis was born May 10, 1933 in New Martinsville, WV the daughter of the late Charles and Nettie Springer Lemasters.
She was homemaker, retired deli worker from Herrick’s IGA and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter, Lori Billiter; seven brothers, Lawrence Lemasters, John Lemasters, Harold Lemasters, Carl Lemasters, Earl “Bones” Lemasters, Delbert Lemasters, Don Springer; two sisters, Imogene Lehew and Alice Romans.
Surviving are her husband, Samuel Billiter; two sons, David Billiter and his wife, Nancy of Paden City, WV, Randy Billiter of Paden Fork, WV; two daughters, Linda Patterson and her husband, Gary of Middlebourne, WV, Debbie McKay of Paden City, WV; grandchildren, Steve Billiter, Scott Holmes, Kevin Holmes, Michael Patterson, Jenny Arnett and Missy Thorn and eight great grandchildren.
Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday, May 5, 2009 Jarvis Funeral Home, Paden City, WV where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2009.

Jarvis, Paul D., 68, of New Martinsville, WV died Sunday, May 3, 2009 at his home.
Paul was born October 28, 1940 in Cutler, OH the son of the late Paul Burton and Wilden Bennett Jarvis.
He was former owner and funeral director of Jarvis Funeral Homes, member of Paden City Lions Club, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #931-New Martinsville, Tyler County Shrine Club, Nemesis Shriners A.A.O.N.M.S. of Parkersburg, American Legion Post #86 of Paden City, Master Mason of Wetzel Masonic Lodge No. 39 A.F. & A.M., Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons of WV, Art Links, National Funeral Directors Association, WV Funeral Directors Association, Alumni of Cincinnati School of Mortuary Science, host of the “Pappy Jarvis Golden Harvest Gospel Hour on WETZ and a Baptist by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, George Alvin Jarvis.
Surviving are son, David Jarvis and his wife, Crystal of Columbus, OH; daughters, Michelle Chambers and her husband, Blair of Proctor, WV, Melody Jarvis of Sico, OH and Laura Blankenship of Portsmouth, OH; five sisters, Elaine Zumbro of Belpre, OH, Carol June Maxwell of McConnellsville, OH, Violet Mollett and her husband, Don of Florida, Esther Heaston and her husband, Bill of Belpre, OH and Becky Tippie and her husband, Gary of Athens, OH; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

William "Bill" E. Yeager

Yeager, “Bill” William E., 89, of Paden City died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Parkersburg, WV.
Bill was born May 18, 1919 in New Martinsville, WV the son of the late William and Ethel May Harman Yeager.
He received a Purple Heart from the Army while serving in WWII, retired employee of PPG Industries, member of Paden City American Legion Post 86, Wildcat Boosters and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Paden City.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Pauline Yeager (2007); four brothers, John Yeager, Abe Yeager, Lee Yeager and Ray Yeager; two sisters, Mabel Wyke and Cora Mae Tenney.
Surviving are son, Terry Yeager and his wife, Judy of Paden City, WV; daughter, Debra Negley and her husband John of Williamstown, WV; sister, Mary VanCamp and her husband, Joe of Paden City, WV; four grandchildren, Jeff Yeager, Michelle Snyder, Jaime Wolfe and Gerrod Negley; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday, April 30, 2009 Jarvis Funeral Home, Paden City, WV where services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2009 with Rev. Darrel Gooden officiating.
Military graveside services will be conducted by the Blue Coats of Sistersville, Paden City and New Martinsville.

Nolan, Therman E., 66, of Paden City, WV died Friday, April 17, 2009 at his sister’s home in Paden City.
Therman was born September 16, 1942 in Paden City, WV the son of the late William Arvil and Opal Evelyn Holmes Nolan.
He was an employee of Smittle’s Meat Packing Paden City: a member of the Paden Fork Chapel Christian Church for forty-seven years and loved to fish and hunt.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Earl Daniel Nolan and nephew, Ricky Cross.
Surviving are a brother, Carl Nolan of Alma, WV; four sisters, Ida Mae Bonner and her husband, Bob of Paden City, WV, Evelyn Cross and her husband, Gene of New Martinsville, WV, Velma Kay Dawson and her husband, Roy of Alma, WV and Mary Jane Bowman and her husband, Bob of Marietta, OH and several nieces and nephews.

Reed, Dolly V., 90, of Moundsville, WV died Saturday, April 11, 2009 at New Martinsville Health Care Center.
Dolly was born October 8, 1918 in Wetzel County, WV the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Glasscock Bradley.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Reed; two brothers, Thomas A. Bradley and Herman Bradley; two sisters, Daisy Bradley and Edith Hinerman.
Surviving are two daughters, Faye Gore and her husband, Bill of Hannibal, OH and Jan Smallwood and her husband, Paul of McKinney, TX; a very special nephew, Max Hinerman and his wife, Loretta of Clarksburg, WV five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
