Guy Lofy
MILWAUKEE - The Rev. Guy Lofy, OCD, 77, of Milwaukee, was born into eternal life on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2001.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, Aug. 13, at 4:30 p.m., at Holy Hill Shrine Chapel, Hubertus. Burial will be in Discalced Carmelite Monastery cemetery.
The Rev. Lofy was born on Oct. 26, 1923, in Milwaukee, the son of Joseph and Catherine Lofy.
The Rev. Lofy was ordained in June 1948, in Washington D.C., into the Order of Discalced Carmelite Friars.
Survivors include two brothers, Benjamin Lofy, and Frank (Donna) Lofy; one sister-in-law, Caroline Lofy; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Friends may call on Monday, Aug. 13, from 2:15 to 4:15 p.m. at the chapel.
Memorials may be made to Holy Hill Shrine.

Merle Drawantz
ENGLEWOOD, Fla., - Merle Drawantz, formerly of Ladoga, died on Monday, July 9, 2001, at the Alterra Sterling House, Englewood, Fla.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, Aug. 13, at 11 a.m., at Wedges Prairie cemetery, on the corner of Highway TC and Amity Road.
She was married
to the late Ervin F. Drawantz and is survived by one daughter, Marlene (Larry) Derrah, Englewood, Fla.; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; relatives and friends.

David E. Feustel
David E. Feustel, 64, of Beaver Dam, died of an unexpected illness on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2001.
A remembrance service will be held on Sunday, Aug. 12, at 2:30 p.m., at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon St., Oshkosh. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran cemetery.
Mr. Feustel was born on Jan. 22, 1937, in Oshkosh, the son of John Paul and Doris (Schindel) Feustel.
Mr. Feustel had a great passion for fishing and enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a career in sales and real estate.
Survivors include his dear partner, Shirley Saloun, Beaver Dam; one son, Duane (Sheila) Feustel, Chilton; two daughters, Diane (Jim) Garity, Phoenix, Ariz., and Gail (Earl) Gessner, Bethel, Minn.; the mother of his children, Betty (Ory) Feustel; one daughter-in-law, Alecia Feustel, Neenah; nine grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Friends may call on Sunday, Aug. 12, from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service, at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, Oshkosh.
A memorial fund is being established for Leukemia Research.
Lorene Palm
LOMIRA - Lorene Palm, 88, of Hope Nursing Home, Lomira, formerly of 907 W. Jefferson St., Waupun, died on Friday, Aug. 10, 2001, at Hope Nursing Home, Lomira.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, Aug. 13, at 5:30 p.m., at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, LeRoy. The Rev. Charles Wester will officiate. Burial will be in St. Andrew's cemetery, LeRoy.
Mrs. Palm was born on Sept. 4, 1912, in the town of LeRoy, the daughter of John and Anna (Elsinger) Ruhland. She was married
on Nov. 28, 1936, to Alfred Hoffmann in LeRoy. She was later married
on April 8, 1972, to Frank Palm in LeRoy.
Mrs. Palm worked as a nurses aide at Waupun Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, LeRoy, and St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waupun.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth (Anne) Hoffmann, Silver Springs, Md., and Eugene (Mary) Hoffmann, LeRoy; five grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by both husbands; one brother, John Ruhland Jr., one sister, Emily Weiss, and one grandson, Scott Hoffmann.
Friends may call on Monday, Aug. 13, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, LeRoy.

Agnes L. Schrank
MAYVILLE - Agnes L. Schrank, 90, of 305 S. Clark St., Mayville, died on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at the Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Mayville.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 15, at 4 p.m., at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Kekoskee. The Rev. Dennis Bratz will officiate. Burial will be in Kekoskee cemetery.
Mrs. Schrank was born on Sept. 28, 1910, in Kekoskee, the daughter of Emil and Agnes (Linse) Roll Sr. She was married
on June 10, 1933, to Harold L. Schrank at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Kekoskee.
Mrs. Schrank was a life long resident of this area, farming with her husband in the Lomira area for many years. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, making Christmas wreaths, sewing and needlework, along with gardening.
The family wishes to extend thanks to her nephew and niece, Donald and Lavon Roll; her neighbors, Wayne and Joanne Kaiser, and to the staff at the Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Janice (Richard) Farmer, Bethesda, Md.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; special friend, Raymond Binder, Horicon; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold, in 1971; six brothers, and two sisters.

Carroll F. Mair
RIO - Carroll F. Mair, 85, of Rio, died on Friday, Aug. 11, 2001, at Divine Savior Hospital.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 11 a.m., at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Rio. The Rev. Richard Dowling will officiate. Burial will be in Ohio cemetery with full military honors.
Mr. Mair was born on June 5, 1916, in Wyocena, the son of Fred and Maude (Moss) Mair. He was married
on Aug. 11, 1945, to Ruth M. Hanson at St. John's Lutheran Church, Pardeeville.
Mr. Mair worked for the Columbia County Highway Department for 32 years. He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. He was present and on duty when the attack on Pearl Harbor took place. He was a member of the Portage Elks Club No. 675, the Veteran of Foreign Wars No. 1707, Portage, the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association, and Redeemer Lutheran Church, Rio.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ruth Mair, Rio; one son, Michael (Cindy) Mair, Sheboygan Falls; two grandchildren; one niece; relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, George Mair, and one sister, Ferne Eagen.
Friends may call on Monday, Aug. 13, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Vangen Funeral Home, Rio, and on Tuesday, Aug. 14, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Rio.

Mary M. Linde
Mary M. Linde, 94, of Beaver Dam, died on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2001, at her home.
A private family service will be held at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Michael Hammer will officiate. Burial will be Oakwood cemetery, town of Beaver Dam.
Mrs. Linde was born on Dec. 17, 1906, in Grand Rapids, Mich., the daughter of William and Anna (Palczewski) Kosmoski. She was married
on Nov. 27, 1927, to Alfred O. Linde in Beaver Dam.
Mrs. Linde opened the first catalog store for Montgomery Ward in Beaver Dam on Oct. 4, 1938. She was manager of the store for 38 years, retiring in 1970. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam. During her retirement she enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and spending time at the lake.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Carol Linde, Beaver Dam; three grandchildren, Gale (Charles) Hammer, Jeffery A. (Sue) Linde, and Jerrold J. (Patty) Linde, all of Beaver Dam; five great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Tara Hammer, and Brian, Brock, and Tony Linde; one brother, Aloyse (Alvera) Danoski, Racine; two sisters, Phyllis Dorece, Racine, and Lucille Kasper, Beaver Dam; one sister-in-law, Mary Danoski, Fox Lake; one brother-in-law, Hubert Wade, Racine; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfred O. Linde, in 1980; one son, Randall Linde, in 1996; one brother, Franklin Danoski, and three sisters, Florence Larson, Eugenia Wade, and Eva Brefka.

Irma M. Bodden
KEWASKUM - Irma M. Bodden, 90, a resident of Mapledale in Kewaskum, died on Monday, Aug. 13, 2001, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital, West Bend.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, Aug. 16, at 7 p.m., at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Campbellsport. The Revs. Charles Bodden and Neil Zinthefer will officiate. Burial will be on Friday, Aug. 17, in St. Matthew's cemetery.
Mrs. Bodden was born on Oct. 18, 1910, in Theresa, the daughter of John and Amilia (Czoschke) Bintzler. She was married
on March 29, 1934, to Joseph Bodden at Holy Hill.
Mrs. Bodden was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Campbellsport, and the Campbellsport Senior Citizens.
Survivors include three sons, Paul (Bernadine) Bodden, Ray (Geri) Bodden, both of Kewaskum, and the Rev. Charles J. Bodden, O.S.A., Peru, South America; two daughters, Evelyn (Lloyd) Martin, Kohlsville, and Mary (Wynand) Paulus, West Bend; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bodden, on March 17, 1982; two sisters, Marie and Lucy, and five brothers, Ervin, Herb, George, Dewey, and Frank.
Friends may call on Thursday, Aug. 16, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Campbellsport.

Carol R. Bork
WAUKESHA - Carol R. Bork, 74, of Waukesha, died on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Bork was born on Feb. 3, 1927, in Milwaukee, the daughter of LeRoy and Gladys (Means) Hurst. She was married
on April 22, 1950, to William Bork in Elm Grove.
Mrs. Bork was a 1945 graduate of South Division High School, Milwaukee. She was a den mother for the cub scout pack at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a volunteer chaperone for Explorer Post No. 108, and was a member of the Waukesha Police Auxiliary. She was employed at Wisconsin Electric Company retiring in 1988. She was a member of Lake Puckaway Yacht Club where she helped with bingo. She enjoyed spending time at her lake home on Lake Puckaway where she and her family loved fishing and boating. Throughout the year, she enjoyed making Christmas tree skirts and stockings for friends and family. She was an avid reader, loved playing sheepshead, dominos, puzzles, and working crossword puzzles. She will be sadly missed and mourned by family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, William Bork, Waukesha; three children, Mary Pirtle, Kaila, Hawaii, William (friend, Chris) Bork Jr., Morrison, Colo., and David (Janet) Bork, Waukesha; five grandchildren, Christopher Mattson, San Diego, William E. (Suzie) Bork III, Morrison, Colo., Jamie Lynn (Dan) Nowak, Eagle, Colleen Bork, Delaware, and Andrew Bork, Waukesha; one great-grandchild, Shannon Bork, Morrison, Colo.; five sisters, Dorathey (Gene) Danielewski, Milwaukee, Marilyn (Gene) Gutho, Chatsworth, Calif., Nancy Rudolph, West Allis, Kathlyn (Dick) Schenk, Newark, Ohio, and Jacki (Bruce) Hoppe, Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Bork Evans, on June 30, 1998; one sister, Betty Bigelow; one brother, Roy Hurst, and her mother-in-law, Hattie Altman.

Ronald E. Raschig
CAMBRIA - Ronald Eugene Raschig, 58, died peacefully on Friday, Aug. 10, 2001, at his home after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Aug. 19, at 11 a.m., at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, on Inglehart Road, town of Scott. The Rev. William Heisler will officiate. Burial of the cremains will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
Mr. Raschig was born on Sept. 21, 1941, the son of Ralph and Dorothy (Piepkorn) Raschig. He was married
on June 25, 1966, to Sandra Reek in South Milwaukee.
Mr. Raschig was employed as a maintenance electrician for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Raschig, Cambria; two sons, Greg Raschig, Hartford, and Daniel (Heather) Raschig, Rome; seven grandchildren; his mother, Dorothy (Raschig) Starks, Laona; one brother, Arthur (Marilyn) Raschig, Milwaukee; one sister, Penny (Steve) Vogel, Eagle River; his step-mother, Delia Raschig, Eagle River; one half-sister, Bonnie (Mike) Greene, Seattle, Wash.; numerous step-brothers and step-sisters; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph A. Raschig; one uncle, Eugene Raschig, and one sister, Joan Raschig.

Gertrude Hull
WAUPUN - Gertrude Hull, 89, of 100 Harris Ave., No. 109, Waupun, died on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2001, at her home.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, Aug. 16, at 1:30 p.m., at Emmanuel Reformed Church, Waupun. The Rev. David Parrish will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Mound cemetery, Waupun.
Mrs. Hull was born on Jan. 9, 1912, in the township of Trenton, the daughter of Aart and Gerritje "Gertrude" (Kwakkel) Vande Streek. She was married
on Jan. 9, 1933, to John Henry Hull in Rockford, Ill.
Mrs. Hull was a life long resident of the Waupun area. She was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church, its guild, and was a Sunday school teacher. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Christian Home. She was an avid quilter, sewed blankets for all of her family, and enjoyed reading. She was formerly employed with Infant Socks, Waupun and Fond du Lac. She and her husband farmed in the Alto area and were the former owners of Hull Implement, where she was the bookkeeper.
Survivors include eight sons, Robert (Beverly) Hull, Gordon (Marlene) Hull, Elton (Katherine) Hull, all of Waupun, Delvin (Donna) Hull, Colona, Ill., Lyle (Jayne) Hull, Waupun, Ronald (Joan) Hull, Burnett, Jerald (Luanne) Hull, Waupun, and Philip (Felipa) Hull, East Moline, Ill.; three daughters, Elaine (Samuel) Braaksma, Wisconsin Rapids, Lois (Gordon) Alsum, Waupun, and Caroline (Gene Bennett) Gilmore, Beaver Dam; 40 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Hull, on Oct. 19, 1989; her parents; three brothers; three sisters; one son-in-law, Gary; one grandson; two granddaughters; one great-grandson; one grandson-in-law, and one granddaughter-in-law.
