Helen F. Braun
Helen F. Braun, 79, of Beaver Dam, died on Friday, June 1, 2001, at Continental Manor, Randolph.

The funeral was held on Monday, June 4, at noon, at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Don Bader officiated. Burial was in Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.

Mrs. Braun was born on May 30, 1922, in Waterloo, the daughter of Albert and Mathilda (Langer) Fischer. She was married on June 10, 1939, to Edwin Braun in Beaver Dam.

Mrs. Braun was a Beaver Dam resident all her married life. She was employed with the Hotel Rogers for over 17 years until her retirement.

Survivors include four children, Charles (Pat) Braun, Yerington, Nev., Sally (Allen) Maas, Randolph, Jean (fiance Bob Huettner) Budde, Beaver Dam, and Mary (Gary) Heeringa, Waupun; 15 grandchildren;28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lydia Will, Beaver Dam, and Josephine Niemeyer, Lowell; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin, in 1965; one daughter, Kristine Braun, in 1957; three sisters, Elsie Hoeffer, Mary Fischer and Julia Selk, and three brothers, Henry, Herman and William Fischer.

Friends called on Monday, June 4, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam.

Arlene M. Miller
PEWAUKEE - Arlene M. Miller, 76, of Pewaukee, formerly of Beaver Dam, died on Sunday, June 3, 2001, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Milwaukee.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 6, at 11 a.m., at Grace Presbyterian Church, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Jack Harrison will officiate. Burial will be in Marcellon cemetery, Pardeeville.

Mrs. Miller was born on Sept. 18, 1924, in Marcellon, Columbia County, the daughter of Earl and Marian (Hill) Wall. She was married on Dec. 1, 1943, to Leonard Miller in Madison.

Mrs. Miller lived in the Beaver Dam area for over 45 years. She owned and operated Miller's Restaurant for over 20 years, and prior to that she managed it for over 10 years. She lived in the Pewaukee area for the last seven years. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Beaver Dam.

Survivors include two children, Diane (David) Barisas, Pewaukee, and the Rev. Neale (Linda) Miller, New Orleans; one grandson, Shane (Kathy) Myers, Milwaukee; two great-grandchildren, Ian and Ailish Myers; two sisters, Marjorie (John) Fleinek, Ripon, and Elaine (Gerald) Washkovich, Princeton; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Leonard, on July 24, 1987.

Friends may call on Tuesday, June 5, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, and on Wednesday, June 6, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Grace Presbyterian Church, Beaver Dam.

Memorials may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church Beaver Dam.

Theresia Horetzky
BROWNSVILLE - Theresia Horetzky, 74, of 869 Main St., Brownsville, died on Sunday, June 3, 2001, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 6, at 10 a.m., at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Brownsville. The Rev. William Carter will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant cemetery, town of LeRoy.

Mrs. Horetzky was born on March 31, 1927, in Hungry, the daughter of Mikael and Maria Laschober. She was married on Aug. 7, 1947, to John "Hans" Horetzky in Germany.

Mrs. Horetzky was employed with Grande Cheese, Brownsville, for 26 years. She was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Brownsville.

Survivors include three children, Hans (Georgia) Horetzky Beaver Dam, Cindy (fiance Michael Zwieg) Hein, Fox Lake, and Tammy (Kevin) Michael, Brownsville; one sister, Susanna Mann, Germany; six grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hans, in 1985; one grandchild, Hollie, and one brother.

Friends may call on Tuesday, June 5, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, and on Wednesday, June 6, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Brownsville.

Ruben G. Schultz
JUNEAU - Ruben G. Schultz, 91, of Clearview Nursing Home North, Juneau, formerly of 618 Horicon St., Horicon, died on Friday, June 1, 2001, at the nursing home.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 5, at 6 p.m., at Zion Lutheran Church, Horicon. The Rev. Paul Lindau will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery, Horicon.

Mr. Schultz was born on Aug. 19, 1909, in the town of Hubbard, the son of Arthur and Meta (Wendorf) Schultz. He was married on May 1, 1936, to Marie Hein in Horicon.

Mr. Schultz retired from John Deere in 1968. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Horicon, the Machinist Local Union 873, and a former member of the Spitfires Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Schultz, Horicon; one daughter, Alice (Kenneth) Nitschke, Burnett; one son, William "Bill" (Kathy) Schultz, town of Oak Grove; one daughter-in-law, Betty Hein, Ashippun; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; four sisters; two daughters in infancy, Esthers and Beverly; one son, Roger Hein, on May 20, 2001, and one great-granddaughter.

Friends may call on Tuesday, June 5, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Horicon.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.

The Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, is serving the family.

Raymond Mittelstadt
MILFORD, Mich. - Raymond Mittelstadt, 86, died on Friday, June 1, 2001.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 1, at 2 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church, 745 W. Michigan, Jackson.

Survivors include his wife, Aileen Mittelstadt; three daughters, Manya (John) Schumacher, Commerce township, Michigan, Susan (Bill) Freeman, Arizona, and Karen (Dick) Wooster, Petoskey, Mich.; two grandchildren, Jason and Justin. relatives and friends.

Lynch & Sons (Richardson-Bird Chapel), 404 E. Liberty, Milford, Mich., served the family.

Ronald H. Uttech
WATERTOWN - Ronald H. Uttech, 58, of W4531 Thrush Road, Watertown, died on Sunday, June 3, 2001, at Clearview South, Juneau.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 6, at 11 a.m., at St. Peters Lutheran Church, Lebanon. The Rev. Charles Werth will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peters cemetery, Lebanon.

Mr. Uttech was born on Sept. 10, 1942, in Hartford, the son of Hilbert and Evelyn (Guenterberg) Uttech.

Mr. Uttech was a graduate of Watertown Senior High School. He was employed at Ru-Mar, Mayville, for 18 years. He was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Lebanon, and a volunteer for the Mayville Fire Department. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and was a craftsman in his spare time.

Survivors include one daughter, Carrie (Jason) Elvers, Horicon; two sons, Brent (Melissa) Uttech, Beaver Dam, and Adam Uttech, at home; one sister, Sylvia (Lyle) Polensky, Watertown; one brother, David (Cathleen Peterson) Uttech, Watertown; one sister-in-law, Sandra Uttech, Watertown; one granddaughter, Alexis Uttech; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Kenneth Uttech, in 1975.

Friends may call on Tuesday, June 5, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Hafemeister Funeral Home, Watertown, and on Wednesday, June 6, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at St. Peters Lutheran Church, Lebanon.

Memorials may be made to St. Peters Lutheran Church, Lebanon.

Lulu M. Zubke
WAUPUN - Lulu May Zubke, 93, of Waupun, died on Sunday, June 3, 2001, at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Fond du Lac.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 6, at 1 p.m., at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun. The Rev. Richard Lawrence will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.

Mrs. Zubke was born on Sept. 4, 1907, in Waupun, the daughter of James and Minnie (Harmsen) Corrigan. She was married on Oct. 26, 1926, to Albert A. Zubke in the town of Juneau.

Mrs. Zubke enjoyed her summer days at the cottage on Lake Puckaway.

Survivors include one son, Ronald Zubke, Waupun; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, in 1975; four sisters, and three brothers.

Friends may call on Tuesday, June 5, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun, and on Wednesday, June 6, from noon until the time of service at the funeral home.

Helen J. Schrader
WAUPUN - Helen J. Schrader, 91, of 449 N. Madison St., Waupun, died on Sunday, June 3, 2001, at the Christian Home, Waupun.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 6, at 11 a.m., at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Waupun. The Rev. Peter Bird will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Mound cemetery, Waupun.

Mrs. Schrader was born on Oct. 18, 1909, in Waupaca County, the daughter of Caleb and Effie (Perry) Morey. She was married in the early 1930s to Elmer Schrader.

Mrs. Schrader and her husband have been life long residents of Waupun. She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Waupun, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a devoted piano teacher.

Survivors include three sons, Richard (Marjorie) Schrader, Waupun, James (Jery) Schrader, Arizona, and Lloyd (Johanna) Schrader, Tennessee; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, in 1984, and two sisters.

Friends may call on Wednesday, June 6, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Waupun.

The Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun, is serving the family.

Leota L. Reinking
RIO - Leota L. Reinking, 86, of 404 Lowville Road, Rio, died on Monday, June 4, 2001, at Columbia Health Care Center, Wyocena.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 9, at 11:30 a.m., at the Jones-Jensen Funeral Home, Columbus. The Rev. G.F. Cares will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery, Columbus.

Mrs. Reinking was born on July 17, 1914, in Columbus, the daughter of William and Bertha (Wendt) Loeffler. She was married on July 26, 1946, to August Vaughan Reinking.

Mrs. Reinking graduated from Columbus High School and Columbia County Teachers College. She was an elementary grade school teacher for several area rural schools for 16 years. She was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Columbus, its Ladies Aid and a member of the Homemakers Club.

Survivors include her husband, Vaughan Reinking, Rio; one sister-in-law, Mary Conway, Baraboo; one nephew, Vaughn R. Conway, Merrimac; one niece, Mary Kathleen (Dennis) Thurow, Baraboo; four grandnieces and grandnephews; relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Erwin "Bill" Loeffler.

Friends may call on Friday, June 8, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Jones-Jensen Funeral Home, Columbus.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Treatment and Research Center, or Zion Ladies Aid.

Leslie W. Jones
Leslie "Gepa" W. Jones, 76, of 114 N. Roosevelt Drive, Beaver Dam, died on Monday, June 4, 2001, at his home with his three daughters and his brother, Lee present.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 7, at 11 a.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Robert Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter's Catholic cemetery, Beaver Dam. Graveside military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post No. 146.

Mr. Jones was born on Sept. 20, 1924, in Beaver Dam, the son of Will D. and Edna (Mussehl) Jones. He was married on June 26, 1946, to Ruth Agnes Miller in Beaver Dam.

Mr. Jones owned and operated Jones' Bar until his retirement. He was a member of the Fox Lake Country Club and the American Legion Post No. 146. He served in World War II as a staff sergeant in the 10th Mountain Division. He was awarded the Silver Star for gallantry in action in Italy.

The Jones family wishes to thank Dr. Her-Lang Tu, the wonderful caring staff at Waupun Regional Dialysis Center, the compassionate Hospice nurses and social worker, and the second floor nurses at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia (Duane) Lein, Portage, Janice Jarchow, Dallas, Texas, and Kathryn (Richard) Jones-Dvorak, Bloomington, Ill.; three brothers, Warren (Maryann) Jones, Federal Way, Wash., Lee Jones and Wayne Jones, both of Beaver Dam; three grandchildren, Kyle and Kim Lein, and Boo Jarchow; two step-grandchildren, Rachel and Crystal Dvorak; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Ruth, on March 14, 1979.

Friends may call on Thursday, June 7, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam.

Donald M. De Voy
ANDERSON, Texas - Donald M. De Voy, 63, of Anderson, Texas, died on Tuesday, June 5, 2001, in Anderson, Texas.

The funeral will be held on Friday, June 8, at 10 a.m., at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, Navasota, Texas. The Rev. Paul Felix will officiate. Cremation will follow.

Mr. De Voy was born on Jan. 16, 1938, in Lowell, the son of Justin H. and Marcella (Mathieu) De Voy.

Mr. De Voy was a truck driver. He served in the National Guard and the Reserves. He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife, Mable Byrum De Voy, Anderson, Texas; two daughters, Lorie Huph, Beaver Dam, and Kay (Keith) Schlichting, Juneau; one brother, Charles De Voy, Tucson, Ariz.; mother-in-law, Mary Klodzinski, Anderson, Texas; five grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Regina De Voy, and two brothers.

Friends may call on Thursday, June 7, from 8 to 9 p.m., at the Nobles Funeral Chapel, 402 Blackshear, Navasota, Texas. There will be a rosary vigil held at 7:30 p.m.
