Dora H. Ott
COLUMBUS - Dora H. Ott, 86, of W1540 Bristol Road, Columbus, died on Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at the Columbus Community Hospital.
The funeral will be held on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 3 p.m., at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Columbus. The Revs. G.F. Cares and Robert Wilke will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery, Columbus.
Mrs. Ott was born on March 22, 1914 at Deerfield, the daughter of Richard and Ella (Starker) Zimmerman. She was married
to Merlin Ott on Nov. 19, 1937, in Marshall.
Mr. and Mrs. Ott moved to their present farm 60 years ago. She was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Columbus. She worked at the Columbus Hospital for 13 years. She was a charter member Zion Lutheran Ladies Aid Society. She was a member of the Columbus Area Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors include her husband, Merlin; one daughter, Dianne (Rodney) Patrick, Columbus; one son, Richard (Janet) Ott, Germantown; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Leota Nelson, Sullivan, Freida Raether, Sun Prairie, and Arlene Hauptli, Columbus; and one brother, Chester Zimmerman Deerfield.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call on Sunday, Feb. 18, from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service, at the Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Columbus.

Minnie M. Thiem
WAUPUN - Minnie M. Thiem, 87, of Waupun, died on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at the Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m., at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Waupun. The Revs. Richard Lawrence and Shelly Schultz will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.
Mrs. Thiem was born on Feb. 16, 1914, in Columbus, the daughter of Emil and Sena (Thiel) Teletzke. She was married
on May 16, 1937, to Leo Thiem in Columbus.
Mrs. Thiem was a resident of Waupun for 63 years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Waupun, the Ladies Aid and the Miriam Circle.
Survivors include one brother, Edward (Dorothy) Teletzke, Sparta; very special nephew, Clifford (Marlene) Teletzke, Waupun; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leo, in 1966; one sister, Clara Pederson; and four brothers, Harry, Ervin, Wilbert and Alvin Teletzke.
Friends may call on Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 10 a.m. until the time of service, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Waupun.
Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church roofing fund, or the Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac.

Meghan R. Whipple
APPLETON - Meghan Rose Whipple, 17, died suddenly on Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at home, of unknown medical causes.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m., at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2220 E. College Ave., Appleton. The Rev. Thomas A. Part will officiate.
Ms. Whipple was born on Dec. 29, 1983, in West Allis.
Ms. Whipple enjoyed music, art and animals. She had planned and dreamed of a career in cosmetology. She shared a special relationship with Shawn Weyenberg. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her grandparents, Mick (Shirley Davis) Oestreich, Campbellsport, and Gerald (Marcile Yochum) Condreay, Mountain Home, Ariz.; her parents, Kim and Lynn (Oestreich) Condreay, Appleton; one sister, Simone Condreay, Appleton; four uncles, Danny (Nancy) Hadsall, Colfax, Iowa, Bruce Tischer, Appleton, Brian (Carol) Oestreich, Campbellsport, and Dale Hadsall, Mingo, Iowa; eight aunts, Valerie (Pat Bratton) Oestreich, Rockland, Ma., Colleen Lee, Hamlin, Pa., Cheri Storm, Chandler, Ariz., Sue Ellen (Bill) Bornick, Beaver Dam, Sheila (Scott) Barkley, Rowlette, Texas, Cynthia Condreay, Overland Park, Kan., Debbie (Scott) Hurst, Mayville, and Tina Hadsall, Des Moines, Iowa; cousins, great aunts and friends.
She was preceded in death by one cousin, Tyler Storm; two aunts, Cherri Hadsall and Victoria Mahon; and great-grandmother, Phoebe Thomas.

Sandra J. Schwister
Sandra J. Schwister, 32, of 1017 Madison St., Beaver Dam, died on Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, Feb. 19, at 6:30 p.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Daniel Massie will officiate. Following the memorial service, everyone is invited to Bayside Supper Club for a dinner and a time of fellowship. Inurnment of the cremains will be at a later date, at St. Michael's Catholic cemetery, Beaver Dam.
Ms. Schwister was born on June 10, 1968, in Beaver Dam, the daughter of John R. and JoAnne (Kostolny) Schwister.
Ms. Schwister was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School and was employed at Green Valley Enterprises, Beaver Dam. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam.
Survivors include her mother, JoAnne Schwister, Beaver Dam; one sister, Pam (Gary) Haas, Beaver Dam; three brothers, Tony (Carol) Schwister, Plymouth, Tim (Kay) Schwister, Mount Prospect, Ill., and Karl (Lori) Schwister, Beaver Dam; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Schwister, in 1993.

Viola E. Pieper
BURNETT - Viola E. Pieper, 81, of N9251 Highway 26, Burnett, died on Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
The funeral was held on Monday, Feb. 19, at 11 a.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church, North Burnett. The Rev. Floyd Gogolin officiated. Burial was in Watertown Lutheran cemetery.
Mrs. Pieper was born on Sept. 9, 1919, in the town of Shields, the daughter of Frank and Emma (Altenburg) Borchardt. She was married
on Nov. 3, 1945, to Marvin Schmidt in Watertown. She was married
on June 22, 1969, to Clarence H. Pieper in Watertown.
Mrs. Pieper was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church North, Burnett, and its Ladies Aid. She had been employed at Nite-Cap Motel and Baso Co., Watertown, and was a Shaklee distributor. She enjoyed doing crafts, playing cards, fishing and gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence H. Pieper, Burnett; two daughters, Valene (Douglas) Schuenemann, Watertown, and ‚harlotte (Larry) Schears, Waupun; one son, Larry Schmidt, West Allis; one daughter-in-law, Judith Schmidt, Sheboygan; two sisters, Frances Krahn, Sheboygan, and Selma Borchardt, Jefferson; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Marvin Schmidt, on Oct. 29, 1962; one son, Darrel Schmidt; three sisters, Lilli Borchardt, in infancy, Adeline Zabel, and Clara Frey; and three brothers, Arthur, Frederick and Arnold Borchardt.
Friends called on Sunday, Feb. 18, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, and on Monday, Feb. 19, from 10 a.m. until the time of service, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, North Burnett.

Allen D. Doan
BRADENTON, Fla. - Allen D. Doan, 53, Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Waupun, died on Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at Bayfront Medical Center, St. Petersburg, Fla.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m., at Emmanuel Reformed Church, Waupun. The Revs. Robert Veenhuis and Richard Bawinkel will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Mound cemetery, Waupun.
Mr. Dean was born on May 28, 1947, in Boscobel, the son of Robert and Maxine (Matthews) Doan. He was married
on Sept. 6, 1969, to Barbara Zurbuchen in Waupun.
Mr. Doan was a 1965 graduate of Waupun High School and received his bachelors degree from UW-Oshkosh. Following his marriage, the couple lived in Waupun until 1987, when they moved to Bradenton, Fla. While in Waupun, he was vice-president of Westra Construction, Waupun, and a member of the Waupun City Planning Commission. He was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church, Waupun, where he held various church offices, taught Sunday school for 14 years, and was a Christian Endeavor leader along with his wife, for several years. He was also a member and officer of the Christian School Board, Waupun.
Upon moving to Bradenton, Fla., he was employed by Westra Construction, Palmetto, Fla., where he was vice-president of the corporation. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served from 1969 to 1973, a member of Bradenton Christian Reformed Church, a board member of Bradenton Christian School for eight years and held the office of president. He was also a local and national board member of Southwest Utility Contractors Association.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Doan, Bradenton, Fla.; two sons, Gregory A. Doan, Bradenton, Fla., and Matthew A. Doan, Orlando, Fla.; one daughter, Jennifer A. Doan, Bradenton, Fla.; three sisters, Trina (Ted) Boersma, and Marlys (Stan) Neevel, both of Waupun, and Marcia (James) Fritz, Beaver Dam; father and mother-in-law, Ewald (Florence) Zurbuchen, Bradenton, Fla.; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Jeffrey, in 1978.

Lucille E. Czoschke
MAYVILLE - Lucille E. Czoschke, 71, of W2785 Elm Road, Mayville, died on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, at her home.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 2:30 p.m., at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Brownsville. The Rev. William Carter will officiate. Burial will be in St. Luke's cemetery, Knowles.
Mrs. Czoschke was born on Feb. 19, 1929, in the town of Wayne, the daughter of George and Esther (Schwertz) Pamperin. She was married
on Oct. 28, 1950, to Armond Czoschke at Zion Lutheran Church, town of Wayne.
Mrs. Czoschke was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Brownsville , and its Ladies Aid. She helped on the family farm and worked for Seneca Foods for many years. She also served on the election board with the town of Williamstown for many years.
Survivors include three sons, Steven Czoschke, Palmyra Va., Clyde (Rena) Czoschke, Appleton, and Stanley Czoschke, Kenosha; one daughter, Colette (Kevin) Braun, Waupun; four grandchildren, Jason (Darnelle) Richards, Marc (Lisa) Richards, and Ashley and Alexandria Czoschke; three great-grandchildren, Shawn, Riley and Fay Richards; mother-in-law, Laura Czoschke, Mayville; two sisters, Verona (Donald) Sterr, Mayville, and Adela Pamperin, West Bend; one sister-in-law, Diana Pamperin, Wayne; one brother-in-law, Walter Czoschke, Marquette; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Armond, in 1990, and one brother, Arthur Pamperin.

Inez M. Zimmerman
WAUPUN - Inez M. Zimmerman, 88, of 601 Buwalda Drive, Harmony Manor, Waupun, died on Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at the Christian Home, Waupun.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22, at 11 a.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Waupun. The Revs. Richard Lawrence and Shelly Schultz will officiate. Burial will be in Union cemetery, Mount Horeb.
Mrs. Zimmerman was born on Dec. 30, 1912, in Blue Mound, the daughter of James and Mary (White) Smith. She was married
on Nov. 14, 1942, to Clarence C. Zimmerman in Waupun.
Mrs. Zimmerman was a 1931 high school graduate of Mount Horeb. She moved to Waupun in 1939, after she attended the Madison Academy of Beauty Culture. She was formerly employed with Maleeta Beauty Shop for six years, and with the Glamour Shop in Waupun for 10 years. Following that, she started her own Home Beauty Salon in 1956, retiring in 1993. She was a member of Marsh Haven Nature Center, the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Waupun, and the Getchel-Nelson American Legion Post No. 210 for over 50 years.
Survivors include two sisters, Edna (Walter) Tschanz, Mount Horeb, and Hazel Clark, Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother, Gene (Laurna) Smith, Janesville; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Zimmerman, on Oct. 31, 1987; two sisters, Gladys Fink and Evelyn Quam; and two brothers, Glenn and Gail Smith.

Carl A. Wendling
LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. - Carl A. Wendling, 81, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., formerly of Beaver Dam, died on Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at Havasu Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Lee Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Union cemetery, Theresa. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Theresa American Legion Post No. 270.
Mr. Wendling was born on March 16, 1919, in Fox Lake.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Wendling, Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; three sons, Carl Wendling, San Jose, Calif., Ronald Wendling, Theresa, and Jeff Cook, Madison; three daughters, Carol Begay, Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Judith Brashear, Fox Lake, and Lauretta Luando, Cordes Lake, Ariz.; 29 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Paul S. Vander Werff
Paul S. Vander Werff, 39, of Beaver Dam, died on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, at his home.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Rae Ann Bloomquist will officiate. Cremation will take place with burial to follow at a later date, in the Randolph cemetery.
Mr. Vander Werff was born on Dec. 6, 1961, in Beaver Dam, the son of Paul and Jean (Sugden) Vander Werff.
Mr. Vander Werff was a 1980 graduate of Beaver Dam High School and a lifelong resident. He worked at Lake Country Corporation, Mayville, and prior to that at Jacobson Distributing, Horicon.
Survivors include his parents, Paul and Jean Vander Werff, Beaver Dam; Lynn Vander Werff, Beaver Dam; two sons, Ben and Brent Vander Werff, Beaver Dam; three sisters, Pauline (Brent) Bergemann, Beaver Dam, Linda (Bob Smith) Vander Werff, Waupun, and Darla (finace Robin SeeringanVander Werff, Beaver Dam; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts and uncles.
