DANELSKI, James M., 48, Sobieski.James M. Danelski, 48, Sobieski, died Sunday morning, June 30, 2002, at his home following complications of diabetes. He was born April 23, 1954 ,in Green Bay to the late Peter and Marge (Piontek) Danelski. Jim graduated from St. Mary of the Angels Elementary School and from East High School in 1972. Jim then attended MATC in Madison, graduating with a degree as an animal technician. He married the former Denise Turner on July 5, 1975, in Madison. Jim co-founded NEW Vans and Custom in 1976. He owned and operated the company until his illness would not allow in September 2001. Jim had many achievements over the years, winning numerous awards and trophies. One award he was most proud of was the F100 Class Grand Nationals. His truck was selected above all others in that class throughout the country, winning him a national award. He enjoyed the outdoors tremendously and lived life to the fullest. Jim enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, 4-wheeling and most other mechanical toys. As Jim would say, "The faster, the better." He loved his family dearly and spoke of them with great pride. Jim enjoyed spending time at home with Denise and their cats in his final accomplishment: their new home. Jim will be sadly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Denise, Sobieski, and five brothers and sisters: David and Jill, Bowie, Md., Tom and Dorie, Eugene, Ore., Peter and Jan, Kodiak, Alaska, Joyce and Alan Ruder, Bainbridge Island, Wash., Mary and Uzi Menis, Kibbutz Ma-Agan, Israel; one sister-in-law, Lili Danelski, Paradise Valley, Ariz.; nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Donna Turner, Madison; one brother-in-law, Don (Gena) Turner.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Jack, and his father-in-law, Don Turner.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service. Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dave Kasperek officiating.

Jim's family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the nurses and staff of St. Vincent Hospital's sixth-floor ICU and the sixth-floor IMCU, the Royce Lin Dialysis Center, and the nurses and staff of Unity Hospice. Their care, compassion and understanding will not be forgotten.

Daniel H. Barnard
Daniel H. Barnard, 56, Denmark. Visitation 4-8 p.m. today at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County R, Denmark, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Denmark. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Survivors include two children, Rebecca Barnard, Denmark, Jennifer (John) Van Straten; one grandchild; one sister, Lois (Ron) Zittlow, Green Bay; and one brother, Herbert (Lisa) Barnard, Cooperstown.

Robert William Campbell
Robert William Campbell, 82, a Green Bay resident, died on Oct. 25, 2002. He was born on Sept. 22, 1920, in Iron River, Mich., to the late Hugh E. Campbell and Elizabeth E. (Eade) Campbell. Bob married the former Dorothy Kraus in Iron River on April 30, 1943. The couple have been residents of Green Bay since 1963. He was employed by Channel 6 in Marquette prior to working in sales for TV 11 in Green Bay until 1970. From 1970 to 1976 he was in sales for Lustra Lighting.

Robert was Past Master of Masonic Lodge, Iron River, a member of Consistory in Marquette, Mich., and Amah Shrine Marquette. Bob served in the 101st Airborne Division, Screaming Eagles and was a life member of the D.A.V. American Legion Post #17 of Iron River. Robert was a member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, De Pere. He excelled in track at Iron River High School where he won 1st place in the Class B Upper Peninsula Championship and 2nd place in the state high jump.

He is survived by three children, Val Joel (Sherry) Campbell, Green Bay; JoAnn (Jerry) Nachtwey, Kaukauna; and Scott Robert (Patricia) Campbell, Green Bay; seven grandchildren, Sherri (Harold) Gruetzmacher; Katie Campbell; Amy (Doug) Verkuilen; Paul (Julie) Nachtwey; and Emily Nachtwey; Christopher Campbell; and Jonathan Blumreich; seven great-grandchildren, Justin, Corey, David, Ashley, Miriam, Bryce and Mackenzie; one sister, Janet Hager, Warroad, Minn.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother Casley and two infant brothers.

Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday. D.A.V. American Legion Post #17 Memorial Service 3:30 p.m. Funeral Service 4 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Conradt officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Bay Settlement.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.

Bob will be remembered for his laughter, sense of humor, and his zest for life. Our loss in heavens gain.

A special thank you to Roger Stanley who was a faithful friend. Special thanks to Dr. Jeremy Green; friend, as well as family physician for many years.

Marie J. (Nelis) Delaurelle
Marie J. (Nelis) Delaurelle, 78, Green Bay. Visitation 4-8 p.m. today at Malcore Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird Street, and before Monday's funeral at 11 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Parish. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Survivors include one son, Steven (Elizabeth) Delaurelle; four grandchildren; one brother, Gerald Nelis.

Lawrence J. Dellis
Lawrence J. Dellis, 75, Green Bay. There will be no visitation or funeral. Survivors include his wife, Dona, Green Bay.

Raymond E. Hansford

Survivors include his wife, Myrtle, Green Bay; two brothers, Richard Hansford, De Pere, Robert Hansford, Green Bay; four sisters, Mabel Gaecke, Green Bay, Elizabeth (Merlin) Schroeder, Green Bay, Doris (Wilfred) Malfroid, New Franken, Jean (Gerald) Vande Hey, Denmark.

Daniel Patrick O'Connor, 58, Wrightstown. Memorial service noon today at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth St., De Pere. Survivors include two daughters, Kelli (Bill) Ferrier, Prescott Valley, Ariz., Kris (Scott) Greupink, Sheboygan; five grandchildren; two brothers, Timothy (Lori) O'Connor, Wausau, Michael (Jackie) O'Connnor, De Pere; three sisters, Maureen Grant, Greenbrae, Calif., Colleen (Gary) Neuman, Greenleaf, Patricia (Rick) Clark, Sugar Land, Texas.

Ruby Westcott

Wake service 7:30 p.m. today at funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Monday at the church. James Dennis Huxford
James Dennis Huxford, 67, Lebanon, Ill., formerly Green Bay. A sailor's wake and memorial will be held Sunday at the cottage on Carlyle Lake in Illinois. Survivors include his mother, Vi Huxford, Green Bay; two brothers, Craig (Cyndy), Green Bay, Tom, Tigerton; one sister, Shari Haasch, Green Bay.

Myrtle A. Johnson
Myrtle A. Johnson, 87, Green Bay. Visitation 2-3 p.m. today at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave. Funeral service 3 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include her children, Oscar Jensen, Norman Jensen, Lorraine Martinson, Carl (Lee) Jensen, Theresa Jensen, Bob (Dorothy) Johnson, Lowell (Pat) Johnson, Janice (Mike) Giese, Keith (Julie) Johnson; one brother, Alvin (Joyce) Johnson; two sisters, Violet Heil and Mary; one grandson; many step-grandchildren; many step-great-grandchildren.

Lenora P. Miller
Lenora P. Miller, 99, Green Bay, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002. Lenora was born on Sept. 9, 1903, in Green Bay, the daughter of the late Gus and Odelia (Engels) Pearl. She graduated from East High School and Green Bay Business College. On June 6, 1928, she married James A. Miller in Green Bay. He preceded her in death in 1966.

Lenora was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and was very active in collecting materials for Catholic Missions in Panama.

Lenora is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Donald and Ruth Roche, daughter Jeanette M. Miller, and daughter-in-law Joyce Miller. Her beloved grandchildren include Lynette (Dale) Lucht, Patrick Roche, Kim Roche (Keith Fox), Mark (Amy) Miller, Laurie Widmer and Daniel (Jane) Miller. Her great-grandchildren include Steven (Heather) Lucht, Kelly Lucht, Max Miller, Mina Chasteen and Joshua Miller.

She was preceded in death by her son Jerome; three sisters, Audrey Pearl, Dorothy (Harry) Van Lanen and Mildred Pearl.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2575 S. Webster Ave. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Larry Seidl officiating. Burial at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established in Lenora's name for Paul's Pantry. Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home and Cremation Services (432-4841) is assisting the family.

Quintan Gabriel Pierre
Quintan Gabriel Pierre, 67, of De Pere, died Wednesday evening, Oct. 23, 2002, at his home. Quintan was born on April 1, 1935, in Brussels, Wis., the son of the late Gabriel and Esther (Henquinet) Pierre.

Quintan had a passion for his family, and enjoyed recreating at Legend Lake. He also enjoyed spending time with numerous friends, too many to mention. Quintan was a former employee of Super Valu. He owned and operated Pierre Auto with his two sons for 25 years. On June 2, 1956, Quintan married Joan L. Charles at St. Huberts Catholic Church in Rosiere, Wis.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; three daughters, Lynn (Steve) Gunther of Albuquerque, N.M., Lori Pierre Fink, Lisa (Devin) Perock; two sons, Dan (Gayle) Pierre, Dean (Sherri) Pierre, all of the De Pere area; 17 grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Nancy Pierre of Las Vegas, Nev.

Quintan was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jim Pierre. Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. 10th Street, De Pere, today from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Parish prayer service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1307 Lourdes Ave., De Pere, from 10 a.m. until time of service. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at the church at 11 a.m. with Father Conrad Kratz, O. Praem, as celebrant. Burial to follow in Mt Calvary Cemetery.

The family would like to express appreciation to the De Pere Rescue Squad.

Mark P. Quinn
Mark P. Quinn, 90, Green Bay. Visitation 12:30-1 p.m. Saturday at Monroe Plaza, 400 N. Monroe Ave. Memorial service 1 p.m. Saturday at Monroe Plaza. Survivors include one nephew, Terry Quinn, and one niece, Margaret Quinn, both of Chicago, Ill. Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., is assisting the family.

Mary A. Steeno
Mary A. Steeno, 35, Green Bay. Visitation 4-6 p.m. today at Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St. Funeral service 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Surivivors include her husband, David, Green Bay; six children, Lisa, James, R.J., Daniel, David Jr., Josh; her mother, Mary Babcock, Oconto; her father, Donald Gardipee, Milwaukee; three brothers.

Nancy Van Ess
Mrs. William (Nancy) Van Ess, 65, died peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at home with her family after a 10-month battle with cancer. Nancy was born Dec. 3, 1936, to the late Henry and Helen Yira. Nancy grew up in Luck, Wis., and attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She married William A. Van Ess of Green Bay on November 5, 1955.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Bill; her oldest son, Tom Van Ess; one daughter, Sandy Malcore and her husband, Gene; and her youngest son, Bill Van Ess and his wife, Carol. Other survivors include six grandchildren, Billie Jean, Rachael, Abby, Kim, Kully and Geno; five great-grandchildren, Brandi, Dustin, RJ, Chad and Elizabeth; one sister, Connie Anderson; and one brother, Joe Yira and his wife, Jane. We cannot forget to mention her very special little furry friend, Max, who was by her side until the end.

Nancy was truly a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be terribly missed by many. She enjoyed spending time with her family and with all the grandchildren and really enjoyed spoiling them all rotten! Nancy also enjoyed her special friends - the neighborhood children, Kylie, Nick and Ben Reynebeau.

She enjoyed her job in real estate for 35 years, being one of the first women in the area in this field. Most recently, Nancy worked at Mark Olejniczak Realty. She loved working with first-time homebuyers and has touched thousands of people's lives through her real-estate career. Mom loved going to Las Vegas and spending time up north at the cottage on White Potato Lake. She was always very giving and generous, even to those she didn't know.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday. Friends may also call at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2771 Oakwood Dr., from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Roland DePeaux, O.Praem, officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, Nancy has chosen two memorial funds to benefit Green Bay YMCA Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya, and her parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.

Nancy's family would like to extend special thanks to the Oncology Department and Staff of St. Mary's Hospital, and also to Unity Hospice. And, an extra special thank you to all of our friends and family who were there for us throughout her battle. Your love and support will never be forgotten!

The Lord said, "I love you, and I would never leave you. When you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you." Mom, we'll love and miss you, always and forever through eternity plus a day. Thank you for all that you have done for us! You set an incredible example for us all to follow.

Rose Elizabeth Vukelic
Rose Elizabeth "Rose Bud" Vukelic, 88, Green Bay. A private service will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Milwaukee. Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Mc Cormick, Oneida; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth St., De Pere, is assisting the family.
