Arllys Schumann
APPLETON - Arllys Schumann, 93, a resident of the Rennes Health Center, Appleton, formerly of 230 Grand Blvd., Mayville, died on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, at the health center.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville.
Friends may call on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. until the time of service, at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville.
Wilbur C. Bright
Wilbur C. Bright, 92, formerly of Beaver Dam, died on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, at Clearview Nursing Home, Juneau.
The funeral will be held on Monday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m., at the Bible Baptist Church, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Robert Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery, Beaver Dam.
Mr. Bright was born on March 8, 1908, in Zumbro Falls, Minn., the son of Harry and Pearl (Spicer) Bright. He was married
on Oct. 26, 1926, to Angeline Lafler, in Nekoosa.
Mr. Bright worked in Milwaukee as a union painter for over 50 years, moving to Beaver Dam in 1981, upon his retirement. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, Beaver Dam.
Survivors include eight sons, Wayne (Irene) Bright, Cudahy, Burrill (Marie) Bright, Arizona, Robert (Karen) Bright, Ashippun, Dale (Linda) Bright, Cincinnati, Ohio, Ronald (Caroline) Bright, Cleveland, Ohio, Gary (Beverly) Bright, Freemont, Michael (DeDe) Bright, Iowa, and Greg (Lisa) Bright, Princeton; four daughters, Peggy (Eugene) Heintz, Waukesha, Patricia (Jim) Croin, New Berlin, Sylvia Green, and Donna Bright, both of Sheboygan; 57 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Angeline, on Oct. 11, 1993; one daughter, Betty, in 1996; and one son, Wilbur Jr., on Sept. 28, 2000.
Friends may call on Monday. Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. until the time of service, at the Bible Baptist Church, Beaver Dam.

Edna Graf
Edna "Gerlicher" Graf, 98, of Beaver Dam, died on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, at Hillside Manor, Beaver Dam.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Mark Lindner will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery, Beaver Dam.
Mrs. Graf was born on March 17, 1902, in Edgar, the daughter of William and Mary (Griessan) Young.
Mrs. Graf lived in the Beaver Dam area for the last 24 years. She was a member of St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.
Survivors include two daughters, Delores Mehlberg, Shawano, and Virginia Capper, Beaver Dam; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Young, Beaver Dam, and Jeanne Altstadt, Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Max E. Gerlicher; her second husband, Elmer Graf; one brother; and one sister.
Friends may call on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 10 a.m. until the time of service, at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam.

Frederick E. Korth
JUNEAU - Frederick E. Korth, 72, St. Helena Road, Juneau, died on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
The funeral will be held on Sunday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m., at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Juneau. The Rev. Thomas Biedenbender will officiate. Burial will be in Valhalla Memorial Park, Milwaukee.
Mr. Korth was born on Nov. 21, 1927, in Milwaukee, the son of Fred A. and Laura (Reabe) Korth. He was married
on Nov. 27, 1948, to Gertrude Hagert in Milwaukee.
Mr. Korth was a graduate of Rufus King High School, Milwaukee. He was employed by Klein Cartage Trucking, Milwaukee. He was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Juneau.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude Korth, Juneau; two daughters, Jackie (Pat) Finn, Chicago, and Carrie (Glenn) Bartsch, Greendale; one son, Gene (Diane) Korth, Iron Ridge; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Arthur M. Newman
HUSTISFORD - Arthur M. Newman, 90, of N4973 Lake Drive, Hustisford, died on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, at the Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
The funeral will be held on Monday, Nov. 13, at 1 p.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville. The Rev. Roy McKain will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery, Mayville.
Mr. Newman was born on March 6, 1910, in Chicago, the son of Isaac and Mary (Green) Newman. He was married
on March 17, 1972, to Dorothea Hill in Las Vegas.
Mr. Newman was a pharmacist in Chicago.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothea Newman, Horicon; one son, Morris (Debbbie) Newman, East Amherst, N.Y.; one step-son, James Herdrich, Bridgeview, Ill.; two sisters, Isabelle Isaacson, and Harriet Schonberger, both of Chicago; one brother, Sidney (Charlotte) Newman, Chicago; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dora; one son, Barry; two sisters; and one brother.

Ann L. Plahm
COLUMBUS - Ann L. Plahm, 55, of 756 Richmond St., Columbus, died on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, at her home.
The funeral will be held on Monday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m., at the Jones-Jensen Funeral Home, Columbus. The Rev. John Hobbins will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery, Columbus.
Ms. Plahm was born on June 26, 1945, in Lake Forest, Ill., the daughter of Harold and Priscilla (Lighthall) Plahm.
Survivors include her mother, Priscilla Plahm Columbus;one sister, Janet Lucas, Columbus; relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1993; and one brother, William, in 1987.
There will be no visitation.

Lillian E. Giese
WAUPUN - Lillian E. Giese, 84, of Waupun, died on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000, at the Christian Home in Waupun.
The funeral will be held on Monday, Nov. 13, at 1:30 p.m., at Kohls Community Funeral Home, Waupun. The Rev. Gaylan Herr will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Oshkosh.
Mrs. Giese was born on Dec. 8, 1915, the daughter of William and Erna (Leher) Strasser. She was married
on June 8, 1935, to Irwin A. Giese in Oshkosh.
Mrs. Giese lived in Oshkosh until 1965 when, she moved to the Springfield, Mo. area, and to the Fort Morgan, Colo. area in 1983. In 1991 she returned to Wisconsin living first at the Harris Apartments, Waupun, until 1996, when she came to live with her daughter, Myrna, in Brandon. She entered the Christian Home in 1997. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Beaver Dam.
Survivors include one son, Duane Giese, Plymouth, Calif.; three daughters, Myrna (Clifford) Sweet, Brandon, Krystal (Giese) Patterson, Carlsbad, N.M., and Melody Joy (Giese) Smith, Ooltewah, Tenn.; one sister, Lula Bertha (Strasser) Chellow, Oshkosh; three brothers, Lawrence Strasser, Richland, Wash., William (Adeline) Strasser, and Roland (Betty) Strasser, both of Oshkosh; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Willis Strasser, in 1999; and one great-grandchild, in 1999.

Clarence Zabel
PRINCETON - Clarence Zabel, 85, a resident of Sunnyview Nursing Home, Princeton, died on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, at his home.
The funeral will be held on Sunday, Nov. 12, at 2 p.m., at Zion Lutheran Church, Fairwater. The Rev. Tom Meyer will officiate. Burial will be in Fairwater cemetery.
Mr. Zabel was born on Nov. 6, 1934, in Green Lake County, the son of August and Jennie (Daane) Zabel. He was married
on, Nov. 6, 1915, to Gladys Bahr.
Mr. Zabel and his wife farmed in the Fond du Lac and Green Lake area for many years before he became an electrician at American Stores Dairy Canning Co. of Fairwater, where he retired in 1980.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Zabel, Princeton; two daughters, Barbara (Steven) Vande Brink, Brandon, and Sharon (Gary) Yunto, Belvidere, Ill.; four sons, Robert (Janis) Zabel, Waupun, Ronald (Becky) Zabel, and David (Louise) Zabel, both of Markesan, and Larry (Kathryn) Zabel, Fond du Lac; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Alfred (Edna) Zabel, Fairwater; and one sister, Deloris Austin, Alaska; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Bernard.

Esther S. Rutz
Esther S. Rutz, 90, of 410 Roedl Court, Beaver Dam, formerly of Knowles, died on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m., at St. Luke's Ev. Lutheran Church, Knowles. The Rev. Darryl W. Kenagy will officiate. Burial will be in North Burnett cemetery.
Mrs. Rutz was born on Sept. 12, 1910, in Sparta, the daughter of Rudolph and Louise (Wendorf) Pieper. She was married
on Dec. 17, 1941, to Raymond H. Rutz in North Burnett.
Mrs. Rutz was a former employee of Maysteel. She was a member of St. Luke's Ev. Lutheran Church, Knowles, and of the Lomira American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include one brother, Clarence (Viola) Pieper, Burnett; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Edward.

Marian A. Schroeder
WAUWATOSA - Marian A. Schroeder, 93, formerly of Wauwatosa and Horicon, died on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Gary Erickson will officiate. Burial will be in Oakhill cemetery, Horicon.
Mrs. Schroeder was born on June 29, 1907, in Horicon, the daughter of Fred and Martha (Bartsch) Puls. She was married
on Aug. 16, 1929, to William Bering. She was married
on Feb. 14, 1972, to William Schroeder.
Mrs. Schroeder was born and raised in Horicon and lived in Wauwatosa for many years. She worked at Cutler-Hammer for many years, retiring in 1964. She was a member of St. Matthew's Church, Wauwatosa, since 1960. She was a member of the Lutheran Manor Auxiliary, Salvation Army Ladies Auxiliary, Golden Rule Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and the Tripoli Temple Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include two step-daughters, Elaine (Gerald) DeVos, California, and Gloria (Martin) Sahagian, Milwaukee; one brother, E. Edward Puls, Beaver Dam; three nieces, Sandra (Carl) Kangas, Mayville, Gale (Harry) Appleman, Pewaukee, and Jeanne (Dale) Egnoski, Toms River, N.J.; three nephews, John (Diane) Nitschke, Horicon, Douglas (Sue) Puls, Menomonee Falls, and Robert (Kathleen) Puls, Wayzata, Minn.; step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Agnes Schroeder, Milwaukee; relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband in 1969; her second husband in 1995; two sisters, Mildred Pasbrig and Bernice Nitschke; and one brother, Clarence Puls.
