Lloyd E. Frank
BURNETT - Lloyd E. Frank, 79, of W6157 Burnett Ditch Road, Burnett, died on Oct. 30, 2000, at his home with his family at his side, after having a battle with cancer.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, Nov. 2, at 6 p.m., at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Burnett. The Rev. James Daugherty will officiate. Burial will be in North Burnett cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post No. 146 on Friday, Nov. 3, at 10 a.m.
Mr. Frank was born on July 12, 1921, in Burnett; the son of Theodore and Elizabeth (Zirbel) Frank. He was married
on June 30, 1956, to Grace Pieper at Immanuel Lutheran Church parsonage in Burnett.
Mr. Frank worked at Thiede Brothers for 14 years and National Rivet in Waupun for 28 year. He was a veteran of World War II, having served as a medical technician overseas, and a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Burnett.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Frank, Burnett; one son, Neal Frank, Fox Lake; two daughters, Nina (Dennis) Braun, Burnett, and Neada (Terry) Welch, Horicon; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and two infant sisters.
Friends may call on Thursday, Nov. 2, from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service, at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Burnett.

Joshua W. Benzine
RIO - Joshua W. Benzine, 22, of Rio, died on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at his home.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 3 p.m., at the New Vangen Funeral Home, Rio. The Rev. William Moyers will officiate.
Mr. Benzine was born on Jan. 16, 1978, in Madison, the son of Gary and Karen (Gardner) Benzine.
Mr. Benzine attended Middleton High School. He enjoyed snowboarding, skateboarding, trick biking and music.
Survivors include one son, Evan McKernan, DeForest; his father, Gary (Ellen) Benzine, Raleigh, N.C.; his mother, Karen (Jim) Theilig, Cross Plains; two brothers, Preston Theilig, Chicago, and Mitch Benzine, Raleigh, N.C.; two sisters, Sara Benzine, Rio, and Maria Benzine, Raleigh, N.C.; grandparents, Alice Dahnert, Rio, Margie Gardner, Madison, Sally Theilig, Milwaukee, and Jim (Nancy) Kilcoyne, Alexandria, Va.; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Wilbur Benzine, Harry Gardner and Vern Dahnert.
Friends may call on Saturday, Nov.4, from 1 p.m. until the time of service, at the New Vangen Funeral Home, Rio.

William Van Ruiswyk
WAUPUN -William "Bill" Van Ruiswyk, 83, of Waupun, died on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 9:30 a.m., at Alto Reformed Church, Alto. The Revs. Ted Lindman and Ted Medema will officiate. Burial will be in Alto cemetery, Alto.
Mr. Van Ruiswyk was born on Jan. 5, 1917, in the town of Trenton, the son of Henry and Jessie (Riel) Van Ruiswyk. He was married
on Feb. 11, 1943, to Henrietta Vande Berg in Alto.
Mr. Van Ruiswyk and his wife farmed in the town of Alto for 37 years. He later worked at Forest Mound cemetery, Waupun, from which he retired after 13 years. He was a member of Alto Reformed Church, of which he was a past elder, deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was on the board of the Presbyterian cemetery in the town of Alto for 45 years. He was active with the Alto Fair, Farm Bureau and the Oak Grove school board.
Survivors include his wife, Henrietta Van Ruiswyk, Waupun; one son, Harold (Barbara) Van Ruiswyk, Waupun; one daughter, Winnojean (Robert) Scheuers, Waupun; four grandchildren, Lisa (Steven) Knudson, Amy (Kevin) Flynn, Robert (Gerda) Scheuers Jr. and Rebecca Scheuers; three great-grandchildren, Robert Anthony Scheuers, Sean Scheuers and Zachery Scheuers; one brother, James Van Ruiswyk, Waupun; one sister, Elizabeth Bille, Waupun; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jacob; an infant son; an infant sister; and an infant brother.

Doris C. Swisher
WISCONSIN DELLS - Doris C. Swisher, 92, of Wisconsin Dells died on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, at St. Clare Meadows Care Center, Baraboo.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, Nov. 6, at 11 a.m., at Forest Mound cemetery, Waupun. The Rev. Nancy Green will officiate. There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Swisher was born on Sept. 10, 1908, in Columbia County, the daughter of Albert and Louise (Haralson) Schlee. She was married
in 1956 to Orville Swisher.
Mrs. Swisher was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the United Methodist Churches in Waupun and Wisconsin Dells. She lived in Wisconsin Dells for 24 years after moving from Waupun where she lived about 10 years. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening and the love of her family.
Survivors include five step-children, Mary Pat (John) Giebink, Delmar, Calif, Jacqueline Rae (Neal) Jenkins, Ripon, Kay Noreen (William) Keepers, Salt Lake City, Utah, Elizabeth Ann (Donald) Fischer, St. George, Utah, and Michael (Laurenda) Swisher, Peoria, Ill; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville, in 1984; one brother; and four sisters.

Hannah O. Bergin
WATERTOWN - Hannah O. Bergin, 85, of Watertown, died on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at Watertown Memorial Hospital.
A family service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Catholic cemetery.
Mrs. Bergin was born on May 2, 1915, in Beloit, the daughter of Elmer and Kitty (McCall) McGath. She was married
on Jan. 12, 1935, to Francis Bergin in Rockford, Ill.
Mrs. Bergin had been employed as a ward clerk at Watertown Memorial Hospital for 13 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Kathryn (Robert) Litschke, Watertown, two sons, William J. (Ardelle) Bergin, Watertown, and Patricia (Pauline) Bergin, Johnson Creek; seven grandchildren, Linda (Don) Olson, Laurel (Sean) Marschke, Layne Litschke, Mary Jo Bergin, Tracey (Lester) Keeser, Jodie (Bill) Ritsch, and Jay Bergin; six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis; and one infant son.

Irene V. Miller
FOX LAKE/VENICE, FLA. - Irene V. Miller, 88, of Venice, Fla., died on Oct. 31, 2000.
A memorial service will be held on Dec. 5, at Venice Presbyterian Church, Venice, Fla. Inurnment will be at Riverside Memorial Park, Fox Lake.
Miss Miller was born on March 5, 1912, in Fox Lake.
Miss Miller attended Teacher's College, Stevens Point, and did her post graduate work at Michigan State University. She was a teacher and administrator for the Milwaukee Public School system for 39 years. She was a member of the Venice Woman's Club; AAUW, and was active in Habitat for Humanity.
Survivors include one niece, Shirley Mueller, Appleton; one nephew, Donald Miller, Madison; four great-grand nephews; three great-great-grand nieces and three great-great grand nephews.

Lillian H. Burmeister
WAUPUN - Lillian H. Burmeister, 91, of Waupun, formerly of Minnesota, died on Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 4 p.m., at Grace Lutheran Church, Waupun, and on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 10:30 a.m., at the Holcomb-Henry-Boom Funeral Home, St. Paul, Minn. The Rev. Christopher Derr will officiate. Burial will be in Ft. Snelling National cemetery, Minneapolis.
Mrs. Burmeister was born on Aug. 30, 1909, in Swanriver, Minn., the daughter of Rudolph and Bertha (Mokros) Hamm. She was married
to Charles Burmeister, in Minneapolis.
Mrs. Burmeister was a resident of St. Paul, Minn., for many years before moving to Waupun. She worked as a supervisor at an electronics factory in Minneapolis, and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Waupun. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and sewing.
Survivors include one son, Irving (Lois) Koch, Burnett; nine grandchildren, Rose (Todd) Goebel, Sheboygan, Linda Barletto, Waldo, Thomas Koch, Burnett, Jody (Jim) Drews, Fox Lake, Timothy Koch, Burnett, Michael Koch, Watertown, Douglas (Cindy) Koch, Burnett, Kimberly (Randy) Wiesman, Waupun, and Jennifer Koch, Madison; two brothers, Albert Hamm, Augusta, Ga., and Robert Hamm, Little Falls, Minn.; one sister, Frieda Sager, Minneapolis; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; three brothers and six sisters.

Robert J. Haase
JUNEAU - Robert J. Haase, 73, died peacefully on Nov. 3, 2000, in his sleep at his rural farm in Juneau, after a difficult struggle with cancer.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2000, at 11 a.m., at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Howard G. Haase will officiate, His Excellence Bishop Richard J. Sklba will give the final commendation. Burial will be in St. Isidore's cemetery, Clyman.
Mr. Haase was born on May 6, 1927, in Reeseville, the son of Walter J. and Marie GeorgeAnn (Walsh) Haase.
Mr. Haase and his wife Marita were lifelong dairy farmers. While a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyman, he was a dedicated member of the choir. He later continued as a choir member at his current parish, St. Peter's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam. Family, friends, farming, singing and humor were significant parts of Robert's well lived and much loved life.
Survivors include his wife, Marita H. (Weisensel) Haase, Juneau; children, Barbara M. (Arthur Eith) Haase, Watertown, Judt A. (Arden Hardie) Haase, Blair, Howard G. Haase, Union Grove, Joseph A. (Cheryl) Haase, Horicon, and Loraine (Anthony Dryak) Haase, Taylor; loving grandfather of Arthur R-H Eith, Paula, Lydia and Claudia Hardie, Jared and Kayla Haase, Joshua , Genevieve, Mariama and Mahalia Dryak; dear brother of Margaret and Howard Haase, Clyman, Richard (Lorna) Haase, Juneau, Jane (Russell) Selchert, and Janet Haase, both of Juneau, Bernice Haase, West Bend, Mary Sanders, Janesville, and Jerome A. Audrey M. Krueger
Audrey M. Krueger, 76, of Beaver Dam, died on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m., at the Seefeld Family Funeral Chapel, Oshkosh. The Rev. Kurtis Mau will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
Mrs. Krueger was born on May 19, 1924, in Oshkosh, the daughter of William and Ella Rand. She was married
on Aug. 3, 1969, to Edwin Krueger, in Oshkosh.
Mrs. Krueger attended school in Oshkosh and was employed by Oshkosh Manufacturing. After her marriage, she and her husband lived and farmed in Fox Lake. She was a member of Good Shepherd Church, Beaver Dam. She loved animals, collecting dolls, family get togethers and going out to eat.
Survivors include two sons, William Holdren and Richard (Julie) Holdren, both of Oshkosh; one grandson, Robert Holdren, Oshkosh, one sister-in-law, Helen Savage, Kingsford, Mich.; one niece, Jackie Laing, Florence; two nephews, William Rand, Sarasoto Fla., and Glenn Rand, Oshkosh; special cousins, Marvin (Gladys) Krueger, Fox Lake; relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Edwin Krueger; two brothers, Herbert Rand and Gilbert Rand; one sister-in-law, Irene Rand; and one niece, Marilyn Fischer.

Ida M. Haberman
Ida M. Haberman, 57, of 631 S. Spring St., Beaver Dam, died on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, in Columbia County, as a result of an automobile accident.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m., the Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Father William Key will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery, Waterloo.
Mrs. Haberman was born on March 21, 1943, in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Peter and Lena (Radloff) Durzynski. She was first married
to Paul Kelm. She was later married
to Phillip Haberman. She was engaged to Wayne Nummerdor until his death 10 months ago.
Survivors include her children, Lucy Kelm, and Connie (Ron) Engen, both of Fort Atkinson, David Kelm, and Tammy Kelm, both of Madison, Katrina (Douglas) Riel, Mason Martinez and Sabrina Martinez, all of Beaver Dam; one step-son, Glen Haberman, Marshall, close friend, Jesse Martinez; three brothers, Donald (Shirley) Baumann and Arnie (Bernice) Baumann, both of Watertown, and John (Marion) Baumann, Beaver Dam; two sisters, Rose (Marvin) Christian and Mildred Baumann, both of Watertown; five grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Jerome "Sparky" Baumann and Ernest Baumann.
